Actually jab Geet ko apni galthi ki ehsaas hui tab toh Geet bahut sharmintha ho gayi thi...and she was ashamed to face Maan...she took it a challenge to correct her mistake, btu still she knew that it's was not all her fault, Maan attitude needs to change, he easily looses his temper and blames others for that, he was angry with his father, then now he is angry with Geet, and this is only an excuse for him to drink, if he had to get out of that bad habit he should believe in himself, he should work on his talent, he should have to get over it on his own, not for someone, he should give priority to his life, his career, then his loved ones are always there for him, whether he drinks or not, he has to change for himself...

Geet may opt to give up her career and stay with Maan and help him, but that would spoil him further and he would never realize his mistakes, he will take everything for granted and ven though she could bring him out of that gandi habit just as she did earlier, Maan would only go back to it at the first opportunity, and he would easily find excuses...

Geet wants him to do it on his own this time...do it for himself...not for her or Dadi...

Maan had decided to live, he wants to live, for he is loved so much by everyone, and he had to prove that he is worth it...he feels guilty that he had let down his loved ones again and again and that would never happen again...

Maan and Geet had their own reasons to make this separation to their advantage...

And they did it together though they were miles apart...

Dadi ne toh itne sare mushkilon ko Geet ke saath milkke hi par kiya tha...
