Chapter-10
The day had gone by and the brightness was just here to breathe few last moments for the day. The fading sunlight brought the faint memories back to my mind of the words Maan's father spoke and the way I was running senselessly towards nowhere. And that was when I realised were I slept Maan I whispered as I came out of the nightmare that I lived moments ago.
I rubbed my eyes and realised that I was in our room back but how I tried remembering and that is when I felt his familiar warmth engulfing me again, I looked at his restless hands that tried gripping my waist I stiffened for a moment as I realised I am lying there stark naked but my thoughts were pushed by the warmth of his body. I looked at his face that showed how displeased he was of my any moves, so I just stilled my moments to not disturb his sleep, the little lines of annoyance disappeared from his head immediately and I looked at his serene face so calm and at peace.
I felt so guilty now he must be so upset and troubled not finding me anywhere, I hated to even think how he must have felt when he found him somewhere lost and away from him, I am sorry I whispered as tears came down my eyes and I simply wiped them away and pecked Maan's head gently. I looked at his face that gave a faint smile at the touch of my lips and my greedy heart wanted just a glimpse more of his smile and so this time I bent down and pecked his lips.
But then his lips were fire and the moment my lips landed on his it melted in some another world one after the other I placed numerous kisses on his lips repenting even the thought of being away from him.
Maan
The light feathery touches of her lips felt just like a dream to me in my sleep but when I felt her desperate kisses on my lips it was then that I realised it was more than a kiss for her, I tasted the salty liquid through her kisses making me aware of her state.
Geet I whispered and opened my mouth to welcome her eager lips to delve into the depths of my mouth, I heard her murmuring sorry in between our kisses and it was then when her image of lying cold and unconscious flashed into my mind.
I pushed her back and looked at her, worn torn out her eyes red and puffed out I checked her temperature immediately hoping that she has not caught some fever but the moment I felt her burning skin under mine, my hopes crashed.
She held my hand again and kissed it murmuring a sorry but then I remembered her lying unconscious again and anger coursed through my body. I pulled my hand away in anger unable to put into words what I went through in those moments of loneliness and worry.
I got up from the bed and wore my tracks back immediately and left the room. I looked at the torn look at Geet's face but I didn't want to burst out my anger on her.
I sighed in annoyance and anger as I came out of the room it's not even been a day to our marriage and she was unwell and crying.
I looked at the clock that indicated that its goanna be 9 P.M almost dinner time, she hasn't had anything since morning I thought as I replayed the days event once again in my mind.
And rushed towards the kitchen, I looked around to make something appropriate for her and settled on making a soup for her first.
Geet
It's been half an hour since Maan has gone out of the room and not come back, I still remember that look on his face the look of helplessness and defeat and anguish.
Tears spilled from my eyes again it was second day of our marriage and I rather than giving him happiness was hurting him.
Maan I whispered again hoping he will listen my voice and come back but he didn't, I knew I had no energy in my body and getting out of the bed was not a good idea for me for the moment but I was helpless because I needed him and his warmth.
I wrapped the sheet around my nude body as I got out of the bed somehow the chilly wind made me shiver like a dried leave but then I had to get him talking to me again, I needed him to shout on me and pent his anger out.
But then few steps out and I felt everything blurring again
Geet I heard him shout and the next moment I was in his arms.
What were you trying to do huh...bolo
I looked at him and it his pained face all anger gone just a clear expression of worry for me
I am sorry Maan I whispered as I looked into his eyes ashamed
Shhh Geet Its ok you rest
But Maan listen to me first
No Geet no we will talk but after you are little well.
He moved back again but this time just to get a tray along with him that had a bowl of soup in it.
I smiled at his care and love not knowing what to say for that moment his anger and everything doesn't matter to him in front of my health.
