i loved ur description of slaps based on the relationship.

of course this applies to me also...
if my sister or father slap my reaction will be little hurt but if in future my husband does that my reaction will be something else...

you know di by reading life partner my own expectations from my would be life partner (Mr X) is increasing...do they really have such men outside the story world?? i highly doubt...neway fasting always makes me emotional and today don't know why i just cried reading this... there was nothing painful to cry yet don't know why i just did... you might think me crazy... i mean even i don't get a head and tail of my comment but i just wanna say its beautiful and incredibly sweet like always...

My comment I am posting here.

How do I slap thee, let me count the ways.

Kya subject choose kiya hain tumne Pilli.

The slapanomics behind different slaps is confusing as hell, as we don't weigh all of them on the same scale.

But it is a definite that the slap that carries the worst social stigma is the slap from a man to a woman.

There was a undercover program on a TV show called 20/20, where they had 2 scenarios played out in an open park by some actors. In the first scenario, a guy was physically abusing and yelling at a girl. People immediately intervend. In the secon scenario a girl was abusing a guy. More than 100 people walked by and only one lady finally decided to call the cops after many hours.

When questioned about their apathy to the guy being abused, their answers were varied, some said that they did not think she could seriously hurt him to somebody saying , he probably deserved it, to yet another person saying, she was excited to see the role reversal.

Perhaps it's because for so long it's was okay to slap women. Even older movies, if you watch them you'll see many such scenes.

Now the roles have started reversing and many a movie shows women slaping the man.

It's an age old battle of the sexes and when the women are hitting men its almost like avenging centuries of abuse that's been heaped on them.

Is it right?

Absolutely not.

Abuse is abuse.

It's not the abuse that is right, it's our perspective that is wrong.

Not sure about India, but here, man file complaint against women's physical abuse everyday.

From everyday people to famous personalities.

Ok that was a hell long comment on the slap

A few of my friends and me were discussing this exact thing a few weeks ago and so you got the tail end of it😆

"She sacrifices her parental home,her childhood and half of her youth for her husband when she marries to him.Even her remaining life is all devoted to him and his family..and for all these sacrifices, she expects only respect and love from her husband"

I'm not sure I agree to Maan's point of view, completely. Every creature in the animal and bird kingdom gets kicked out of their nest, so that they can propogate and build their own future and their own nest.It's the rule of the universe.

Though there is some truth to the above statement I agree, especailly when women live in joint familes and things like that. My point is, is her rage justified for this reason.

Don't want to complicate this further so I'll stop right here.

Just a fantastic deeply thought provoking update, that I swear I wanted to keep on commenting.
