The nok jhok of the parents over chidi's marks was too cute. My mom used to always tell my Dad, how come she is your daughter when everything is going right and mine when she makes a mistake.😊

Loved how you drew a clear picture of a pastoral life on a cold winter morning, from the shivering doodhwala to the sparrows waming themselves near the 'Chullah'. That is what I love about your stories, the details. I feel as if I am right there, shivering with the cold, and waiting to warm myself along with the sparrows. Another example of your detailing is how you have linked Geet's age to the movie KKHHand the year it was released.😊

So, Mohinder and Rano are surrogate parents to Geet. Though Rano's childless past is sad, I am glad she is blessed with the ability to love her friend's child. Not everybody can do that, but those who can like Rano, ae truly blessed with happiness. For no ties, but love binds them😳

My father used to have a Rajdoot when I was very young. I remember me and my sister pushing it from behind every morning wit our Baba, because the darn thing just wouldn't start with a kick. Lathon se nahi manti thi, dhakke dene padte the usey😆

Then my bbaba would sit first, then me with my arms barely able to wrap around his round tummy, {All daddies have big round tummies i guess😆...My dad had once ..but now he had reduced by "yoga".😊}.and then my sister behind me. If we were going long distanc, baba would tell us stories and keep asking us questions, so that we would not fall asleep behind.

And guess what, he sold it to a Punjabi guy after a few years. So I wonder if the doodwala in your story has humara Rjadoot.😆{mein rano ji ko bolungi ki puch kar bataye aapko...😆}
