FF Discussion: walkintomylifex's FF...

Fozia, the girl with the funny bone is an amazing writer. Her "Protect the boss" is my current favorites which is very much believable with the real characters which you could picture before your eyes. Her specialty is that her stories ooze life. All of them. My favorite among her work would definitely be What is love? The short One shot had me in wet eyes at the end. It is sheer talent to make readers cry with one story and laugh uncontrollably with another. Her Midnight sun would make anyone fall in love with Maan and Geet all over again, her Gharwali baharwali would make you howl with laughter. Her The pier would make you smile with wet eyes. Each of her story is a master piece and if you missed her stories, you're missing a lot.

Fozia is a one of a kind writer. Her ongoing story Protect The Boss is one of the best stories I've ever come across. The girl with an amazing sense of humour who can have you laughing like a maniac can also bring tears to your eyes with the sheer beauty with which she portrays every single emotion.
One thing I particularly love about her ongoing story is the unique way she titles each and every chapter. You might not understand them at first but when you get it, you're going to be astounded at her talent. Every single person around here should read her works!

If there is one thing in the world that I can say with absolute confidence, it is this: Fozia, aside from being a brilliant person, is a brilliant writer. There really is no doubt about it. She is versatile, vivacious, inventive and overall, excellent. Her 'Protect the Boss' will make you laugh, cry, gasp and tear your hair out in anger all in the same chapter. Her writing is so…well, the best word I can think of is alive. Zinda dil. Fozia and her stories are that burst of colour in life.

The thing I love most about her stories is her heroines. Her characters in general are such faceted and intriguingly layered people but her ladies in particular pack a punch. Whether it's the fierce, ambitious, unstoppable tornado Geet, the loveable, intriguing, heartbreakingly strong Sasha or the brilliant, scheming, matlabi Pammi, all of her female characters make me doubly, triply, quadruple-y happy. They are just as capable as the men, if not more. Actually, more. And I love it.

I have the privilege of knowing Fozia a little more personally outside of India Forums. And one thing I will say which I don't think gets said enough is that the way she cares for her readers and her writing is truly commendable. She is at such a busy place in life and yet still, the girl takes time out to write and share her wonderful work with us, sometimes even just for our benefit. I remember when I first found out that she wrote on this forum – I couldn't quite believe it. She had so much going on in her professional life alone, I was amazed at how she would make time for her readers no matter what. If anything, today, she has even more on her plate and yet still, she pops up at regular intervals to entertain us.

So Fozia, I don't say this enough but thank you. You're crazy and crazy amazing.
