Hi sheesh...
Happy valentine's day to you too...!!!!
I am in love with this "Story"...
mum is asking me to make coffee so rest of the comment later...i want to say alot of things right now and you can blame my mother if i forgot many of them when i would be here again to edit this post...
till then love ya and this chubby cheeked geet...!!!!
Finally...I am here to say the "Rest"...!!!
Chapter two was a big big dose of nostalgia for me..I was immediately reminded of my initial days in hostel..."
She missed the flush of her commode. "
You know once i had said to a friend of mine that I miss tiles of my bathroom in hostel..She did not understand ofcourse but I understood geet very well by this line..Her family can visit her in the hostel but her "home and room" would never come there..!!! I must admit,Hostel actually taught me importance of "home"..It made me realize "home" is something beyond bricks and cement...!!!!
Now coming to geet's chubby cheeks..I have also suffered {still suffering} from this chubbiness..Let me share something with you..I was travelling with my younger brother in a DTC{Delhi transport corporation} bus..Given the wonderful condition of the bus as well as roads,it was more like a "bumpy jumpy ride"..I was busy enjoying my bumpy jumpy ride when i saw my brother looking at my face quite intently..I raised my eyebrows in a manner of asking what???{Roaring engine of bus wouldn't have let him hear by the way if i had asked him in words}.He said, your cheeks are so chubby that they jump along with bus every time..I was embarrassed beyond limits..All i could do was covering my cheeks with my hands after giving an awkward smile to him.."
She had to only inhale to bloat like a balloon. Her stomach lining was made of highly stretchable elastic material.
I can't agree more with geet..as i always say.."Logon ko ghee khaya and dudh piya hua nahi lagta aur mujhe hawa khai aur pani piya bhi lagta hai"..Geet just stole my "desi" words, i guess and gave them a wonderful make over to produce the above lines...😆
You might have guessed till now that geet in your story is my carbon copy..just like her, chocolate is my "salvation"..Sometimes i wonder, when i would be on my death bed, i would ask my children to put few drops of melted chocolate in my mouth instead of "gangajal"...😆
I had always believed that chocolate is one of the "best" things created my God and end of this chapter had strengthen my belief..Chocolate has made our geet, meet "maan" for the first time...😃
Waiting eagerly for the next chapter...!!!!!😊
PS- l loved the line where geet said.."This guy could look good in a garbage bag. "😆..
