Me wanted to be frist when you posted it. But me was so busy today morning me couldn't even log into IF.😭
Par chalo koi nahi, atleast it's been posted and I get to read it aram se now😃
Ok first of all,Why do I get the feeling that in this Geet I am getting to see glimpses of Mayyo. Almost felt autobiographical. Hmmm, main sahi hu kya Mayyo?😉I loved this Geet lost in her own world. Unable to communicate with the world around her.Bilkul introvert hai yeh Geet to. Her best friend isa dear diary. But I loved Geets words."You're my best friend. Always there for me and letting me do all the talking while you silently embrace every word I utter.Don't we all wish that sometimes our friends would just listen to us, without saying anything or giving any advice. She iscontentwith her lot in lot and is just happy to be loved by her sis and parents. Though she is probably bad at expressing her feelingstowards them. But she does feel deeply, which is expressed so clearly in the following words.I may never express how I feel.Words will never be enough.I may never tell how much you are missed,But I do realize that without you, life is so tough..!She may not particiapte much in the things going around her, but there's nothing wrong with her instincts is there. She can definitely feel somebody's gaze on her.😉So far Maan SIngh Khurana is just a name of a person who is there vaguely on the fringes of her mind, She has not really seen looked him has she? She's only looked at him through others eyes.Cant wait for the following words to become her reality,You have no ideaAbout the feelings you stir...Your eyes and your smileMake everything else a blur. And then we can talk about Geet's favorite cheese again. The party is where things are headed arent they?Mayyo waiting for "Where's the party tonight"😃Loved your totally different take on Geet's feelingsMe already waiting for the next part eaaagerly. So you know what you better start doing.😆Love you🤗
Doesn't every writer put in a little of him/herself in the characters of the story? Your feeling is right. You're seeing glimpses of mayyo here but it isn't autobiographical. 😃
Geet, here, is introvert. She is content with the way she is but she isn't unable to communicate with the world. She just doesn't want to. 😊 And yes, being an introvert, she cannot express her love and concern for her family verbally so she takes the other option to get it out of her system: write.
😳
She isn't quite as unaware of the people around us as she seemed to be in the first chapter. And as for the second stanza becoming her reality, 'all good things to those who wait'! 😉 Yes, the party is where things are headed though I'm not at all sure of how it's going to shape up! 😛
You know, Apa, when I posted the first chapter, I was embarrassed but not nervous. Before posting this second chapter, I was hugely nervous, because I felt this one didn't connect to the first one. Reading that all of you got what I was portraying calmed me but not I'm nervous again when I read that you're waiting for the party! 😳
Thank you for being here! Love you too! 🤗
