Mariam, you tease! That last line...
I loved this one, perhaps
even more so than the previous part. Whereas the last part was about the
girl's allure and the boy's fascination, here, the girl finally becomes
real. Well, I say real but in my head, she still that mysterious
sprite, hence 'the girl' and not 'Geet'.
You've featured the best love of all - that of family and friends! I'm always amazed at how this one is often overlooked for romantic love. It's my favourite kind; it's hard to imagine that we would be ourselves without the love of those who raised, nurtured and grew up with us. I love the love she feels for her family. It's very heart warming, especially knowing that she is so far from them, that they are always in her heart.
Wow, Mayyo, you're a poet! Did you even know it? 😉 (Yes, yes, I'm going through my PJ phase. Just kidding. Every day's a PJ day 😈) I especially loved the first one.
My rule in life: stick
to your own business, no need to be all friendly and talkative with
people when you don't feel the same deep down in your heart!
👏 That is a great rule and very relevant these days when a lot is related to how much you say and to who.
So she's not impressed by him at all! Mala te aavadata 😃 (A bit of bootleg Marathi I learnt on the internet today. I give it about ten minutes before someone tells me it's wrong 😆).
I had expected this to be the end but I'm very glad it's not. (It's not, right?). I really want to see what happens next!
And no, don't worry, I was not not studying ;) I was about to take a nap and came online and you updated at around the same time. I despise naps, by the way. But I have come to understand that some of the things you dislike the most can end up being good for you...as I'm hoping Geet will soon discover with the party 😉 (Oh look, she's finally become 'Geet' in my head :) )

You know Z, perhaps you haven't been able to see the girl as Geet because even I haven't been able to name her Geet yet. You're right on this point. We are what we are due to the love, care and nurturing of our family and friends. But we often forget that fact and place the romantic love higher in value than the one which has made us capable of feeling it..
Me? A poet? Naah! What's PJ, by the way?
The rule you pointed out, a lot of problems would be solved if stick to that one rule. Avoid two-facing, that is!
I don't know Marathi and I looked it up to know what you meant by that. You enjoy stories where the girl isn't going gaga over the guy? 😃
No, this is not the end. Not in my head, at least! Though I have absolutely no idea what's going to be next, I couldn't just put the expected scenario in this part and end it! 😆
I did wonder what you were doing online and that too, with this ID but then we do need breaks to relax, don't we? 😊 And that's right. Most of the times, the things we dislike are good for us. As for Geet in the party, let's see what happens! 😃
Thank you for such a lovely comment, Zarin! 🤗
