He never wanted to go office on this day but had to drag himself knowing how Geet hated leaving work pending and ignoring it. He went into his cabin not paying heed to the greetings he was getting from his staff and called Adi in.

Adi was his colleague in the construction company he had worked earlier, the same company where he met her.

Adi has been his best friend, a friend for life. No matter how rudely he behaves, no matter how much he abuse but Adi was always with him, understanding him, supporting him and helping him run the company efficiently.

Adi had been with him when he was like any other person always happy, fun loving, throwing curses at his boss when he was over worked and celebrating with friends whenever he achieved something big.

Adi had been with him when he became friends with her. Adi was with him when he unconsciously started falling in love with her and when he realized his feelings. Adi was with him when he was missing her and was the one who supported him the most when he slowly started realizing that he may not be able to meet her ever again.

Adi was his strength and could read him inside out. He knew what must Maan be going through today so planned his work accordingly.

He had arranged a row of meetings so that Maan was not alone and hell busy that day. He needed to be distracted from his thoughts completely and Adi took special care of that.

He entered Maan's cabin and informed him about the meetings scheduled. Maan was angry on him as he was in no mood to work today and blasted on him.

Maan: Who the hell told you to arrange my meetings like this? Have you forgotten that I m the boss of this company, not you!

Adi: But sir you only told me to start these projects as soon as possible so I arranged these meetings in first available slot of time.

Maan: So you arranged meetings continuously from 11am to 8pm!!!

Adi: But sir it was necessary to hold these meetings today only otherwise they would have been delayed a lot. Mr. Chopra is going with his family for 1 month holiday, and without his approval Noida project would have stopped midway. If you don't attend the meeting and go for a site visit with him, it may result in great loss for KC.

Maan: And what about Mr. Mehra? Why is this meeting so important, I don't remember any project of his being handled by us presently.

Adi: Sir he wants to discuss about some new project, that's all we were informed about. He said it to be a very crucial project for his company.

Maan: Hmmm...I guess you have trapped me completely, sometimes I wonder if you are my friend or enemy, always trying to make my life difficult.

Adi smiles knowing very well the reason of his complaint today.
