PART 3

Maan first attended the meeting with Mr. Chopra and then with Mr. Mehra. Once finished with the meetings, he left for the site visit. It was a cloudy day with cool breeze blowing and then it started raining bringing back the memories he was trying to suppress.

FLASHBACK

It was his first day after the promotion. He was enjoying the morning cool breeze while travelling in local train. And as expected soon it started raining.

But suddenly he sensed someone near him fishing something from her handbag. Maan could not see her face properly due to people blocking his view but saw a frown on her face on not finding the thing she wanted.

On being disappointed, she started blabbering something looking towards the ceiling of the train. He tried listening her carefully.

Geet: Babaji what have you done now''its my first day in office and you made me forget my umbrella, now what will be my first impression today when I'll enter the office all wet and dripping due to this stupid rain.

Geet:Sorry sorry, not stupid rain, you know na how much I love rains very much but why it had to rain today only when I forgot my umbrella in haste and that too on the very first day of my work. Please babaji help me!!!

Listening all this a smile spread across his face automatically. He was enjoying her cribbing session with her babaji. It was such a cute sight that he could watch it whole of his life. He started liking the person for her sweet act without even knowing anything about the owner of that melodious voice.

Suddenly the train came to a halt at the station bringing Maan out of his thoughts and he got out of the train shaking his head and smiling.

END OF FLASHBACK

Maan was still lost in his thoughts when the car stopped moving. When the driver saw no movements from his boss side, he called him out.

Driver: Sir, we are here.

He came back to present by the driver's call and got out of the car heading to meet Mr. Chopra. Due to rain they had some difficulties in moving around the site bringing their discussion to the end soon enough and making Maan reach home early.

The second and the third chp were very well written. Adi truly is a very loyal and trust worthy friend. Maan is very lucky to have him in his life. The first time Maan sees Geet was very nice and very unique as well. Looking forward to reading the next chp. Update soon😊
