Hey Hi 😊 I just stumbled upon this FF when I was going through the forum ...
What pulled me to it was not the title of the story but your username... " Susegad". I could picturise someone sitting on a beach chair on a beach in Goa sipping away a drink & watching the waves crash by... A completely relaxed person. Then on reading this whole 13 parts I was quite affirmed that yes indeed my imagination was somewhat apt... If You can say so.😉
A very light hearted one but still having it's own mix of intensity, love, bonding, humor, fun, emotions all rolled in together. I just started reading it & couldn't hold on till I could finish the latest recent part. Completely hooked on or to put it as quite bonded to this story of different individuals that fate has bound together directly or indirectly in ties of love.
Loved all of them. A different freshness is there in your approach that makes & urges you to feel the emotions you depict in each part so effortlessly through each of the characters here. Admired the relations Geet shares with each of her family memebers, friends, neighbours & everyone she encounters. Miri just stole my heart with all her innocence & sweetum talks ❤️. Brij for the very first time was so liked, A shy yet protective & loving brother. Mohinder's reference of dad with "dead" just cracked me up..😆 Pari a true friend or to say Bhabhi... Also loved the way you potrayed Adi -Pinky alongwith their Sa Re Ga Ma...😃. All the charcters so closely related to the original show yet all of them having a special & distinguishing tinge to them here, all added by you. And certainly is a joy to read it through the lens you offer.
MSK... hmm interesting. His misconceptions & difficulties to keep in check of his emotions. Daddi in her role of dramebaaz & Bonparte is too adorable & heartwarming. Dev a mini genius & store house of encyclopedia just strikes a chord. Lovely families. All their bonds & relations & easy mingling between each one is so smooth & flowy.
Loved the first meeting of M-G. also he folowing encounters & misconceptions alongwith the intense awareness of each other with the constant pull, conflicting emotions & resistant to accept it.
Also admired Geet's love for life & never dying spirit that you presented here. The past pains she & Miri have gone through alongwith her love relations is heartwrenching & saddening yet just strengthens ones belief in goodness in the world & about the depth of love in each family.
What specially hooked me to this FF apart from all the above mentioned ones ... is the use of Marathi dialect here. I'm not a Maharastrian, but have spend my almost entire life ( however small it is till now 😉) around Maharashtrians & also most of all my friends which accounts to 80-90% are all Maharashtrians. So all those dialogues, mention oif teh foodstuffs, certain sayings, festivities used just clicked for me. They did cause a different bonding here. I have read FFs here either mainly having English or hindi mostly used ... this is the first where I stumbled upon Marathi. Believe me I'm really loving it...😊 After sometime in each part I just ignored all the translations as the said dialogues in Marathi or hindi made more sense & were bang on. Your style of writing is quite good, one is bound to fall in addiction to it.
All the narrations that you've added in were nice & did add some meaning insights to your thought flow...
All in all just loved this FF... & waiting & wanting to see what's more in store here. Count me in as one of the readers whose bonded to this FF & please don't mind if I have gone overboard but couldn't help after reading all in a go & had to put it all out here as a comment . Continue soon dear..😊
