The first half -or perhaps it's a third - of this chapter really captured my interest. Not because it had Maan in it! 😆 It very well showed the man who had all anyone can dream of; name, fame, money, yet the only solace, where he can be himself is with his family. It's clearly showing how this man wears the mask of MSK in front of the whole world and yet cannot keep the mask in place when he is with his family. For them, he is just their Bhai and pota. A man who cares for them, loves them a lot... I could see a man who isn't as ruthless as MSK, who never thought of harming a woman and being so rude with her. I could see Maan, the man who was trying to protect himself from the turmoil he went through, the man who couldn't avoid the teasing by his family or who couldn't help fussing over their safety! Perhaps I'm reading too much into this! And I loved the way Dev raised the white flag and called truce! 😆

The rest of the chapter, putting it mildly, was colourful. The warmth with which Dev and Dadi were welcomed was really sweet! Oh, by the way, I can totally relate to Maan and Dev not showing any physical affections! 😳

I liked your version of Adi and Pinky. They're the kind of neighbours everybody wishes for. When I read Sa, Re, Ga, I was like 'sur?' As names? And when I read further, I was actually giggling at it! 😆 Innovative nicknames! Sur tou waise seven hotey hain..! :D And I don't have any copyrights to my name, so you're free to use it! 😉

The banter between Dadi and Dev was really good to read. They're still a lot lively even if not as much as Geet! 😊 As a whole, it was a perfect picture of family and friends having a hearty meal in a festive season!

So at last, Dadi asks the elusive question! The one we've all been waiting to be answered! I can't wait to read more of it, to know the answer to THE question! 😃

By the way, I actually liked the sher you're calling sada hua! It was kind of sweet! And the FYI helped because I know nothing about Marathi cuisines! 😛

Awww!! i jst totally loved the update!!there is some kind of apnapan in ur all updates and i jst love it bout all ur updates!!u know in my childhood i also always Used to love everything bout christmas,i don't know why bt i always loved all the lighting,colours,gifts,sweets overall the ambience bout christmas.though i am a muslim yet this festival always intrigued me and i always thought why it gives me pleasure soo much bt now i think i'm not the only one sailing in the same boat!!
during the update i was jst wondering tht if u cud xplain the recipis,and in the end u did so,and believe me dear after reading a lot bout marathi cuisines from u i'm sooo thrilled to taste them,ahhh if i cud do sooo,i hope at some day of my life i wud b able to fulfill my wish:-)esp the puranpoli!!as i've heard bout it a loot in the past also!!
now i jst can't can't can't wait for the next part as it'll b the ultimate revelation bout miri's birth,hope it'll b as admiring as ur initial updates,and also can't wait for the next encounter of maaneet,i jst totally want to cherish their love story in this specific story which has taken my heart.hope u 'll b prompt in giving the next part as it is the most awaited part of this story.
