The rest of the chapter, putting it mildly, was colourful. The warmth with which Dev and Dadi were welcomed was really sweet! Oh, by the way, I can totally relate to Maan and Dev not showing any physical affections! 😳

I liked your version of Adi and Pinky. They're the kind of neighbours everybody wishes for. When I read Sa, Re, Ga, I was like 'sur?' As names? And when I read further, I was actually giggling at it! 😆 Innovative nicknames! Sur tou waise seven hotey hain..! :D And I don't have any copyrights to my name, so you're free to use it! 😉

The banter between Dadi and Dev was really good to read. They're still a lot lively even if not as much as Geet! 😊 As a whole, it was a perfect picture of family and friends having a hearty meal in a festive season!

So at last, Dadi asks the elusive question! The one we've all been waiting to be answered! I can't wait to read more of it, to know the answer to THE question! 😃

By the way, I actually liked the sher you're calling sada hua! It was kind of sweet! And the FYI helped because I know nothing about Marathi cuisines! 😛

Thanks yaar for the lovely comment. Tumhe meri kahani me me apnapan nazar aya mujhe bohot accha laga. As i am writing the updates I always wonder should I skip all these stories and write just about Maan and Geet, par to me Maan and Geet are who they are b'coz of the people who are around them and some who are not. Their stories inside my head are begging to be told and so I put it down.

Puran polis are slightly complicated things to make, but I have an aunty who makes the best Purana polis I've ever tasted.

Pural polis are not very tough to make...you just need to know right technique. Also, you can get hold of any andhrite aunty as well vecause they are quite big in Andhra as well...I ate and learnt makiing it when I was staying in Hyderabad...

All the puran is on the pan and it is messy.
