i like story although im finding it hard to relate and to understand it and its underlying theme and story...im confused as to the relationship between maan and geet and what has caused the discourse...as the story is progressing slowly so you are only getting a little bit of insight each time.

Let me comment on your note before going towards this chapter. I think a story cannot really be divided into a good, a bad and an ugly just because it is a mix of all these and more that make the story what it is. Talking about Gehraiyan, the only thing that could be an issue for readers is the pace though I have a different opinion on that. The current pace of the story is what truly makes the story even more connected with its title so I'll tell you to carry on just as it is unless of course you want to alter it. 😊

This chapter was probably one of those few where I felt Geet to be a very ordinary woman - ordinary in a sense that the usual gloomy clouds which linger around her weren't there as she wished for a simple thing: some time alone, as she felt pleasure at being quested after and as she took the kurta to wash. That was one action which made me smile. No matter how much a couple fights, there's still concern and care for each other deep down in the heart. The concern that made Geet shudder and made her willingly go back to the place she was so eager to get out of.

That little shared smile and the silent understanding, that was a flicker of hope for me. A hope that perhaps this is where they will start everything afresh, like two individual personalities rather than two halves which have to stay together to form a whole.

I am starry eyed right now. Yeah yeah I know I tend to behave out of character in this thread but what to do. As I said this thread is my Sach ka saamna.

Anyway as everyone already said, I too liked the washing his Kurta scene, though I may not entirely understand the concept of taking care though miffed right now... it is still fun to read.

What actually made me love this update was a belief...a small sign of hope.

See I don't expect them to miraculously fall in love with each other all over again when they were dropped in a different place under different circumstances, but yes I do believe in rediscovering each other. There will be so many facets to you that you yourself might not know. And when they are caught in a place with RK (I know he hates the shortforms but oh well I love irritating him) and his rules, the beautiful cottage and the amazing nature surrounding them...their own rules and silent acceptance of non disclosure of their relationship...ah dreammyyy😆

The contrast is in her relationship with Maan, she does not want him to do that. She has defined a border for him, thus far and no further.

Her contrasting behavior continues with the fact that she still wishes that he would abide by her wishes. I noticed the lover like description which glanced at his face and noted it all on there, the gauntness, the unruly hair. Even when she is mad at him, she is aware of him. Something about that makes me think that all is not lost here.

The marking of territory and the kurta are a contrast in indication, one for the discord and one for the accord in their relationship. Only for him... title applies in both cases..

That is very true, that she has defined borders for him, more so than for anyone else in her life. Your comment got me thinking of how we try to protect the things that are important to us, how our protection can also be a problem. And the description... I've noticed that when someone is familiar, their features often simply blend into who they are - we don't notice as many things unless they're changes. But when someone is new, everything jumps out at us.

Thanks for the feedback. I will try to make it a little clearer and easier to follow. I know the pace of the story can be a little problematic. Hopefully, things will become less confusing in the upcoming chapters as Geet and Maan are thrown in to each other's company more often.
