Yes, Dev is the one who jumped. We don't know who the woman is, nor whose singing he heard. We do know that he heard the singing before when he was sleeping in the airport.

I do see how I've confused you and I'm sorry for that. Truth be told, using he/she keeps my thought process intact and mentioning names tends to break that flow. I do leave clues in the chapters to make it clear who the characters are and usually, the scenes are a continuation of each other. The ambiguity makes us all think more, I think. I can't promise I'll use names everywhere but I'll make a greater effort to make it clear who the characters are.

Maan and Geet were in the chapter with the portrait - two chapters ago, I think. Geet woke up at night and sat before Maan, who was drawing a sketch of her.

Don't feel guilty for me because I'm almost in the same place as you. It's been ages since I commented on Avi's or Shika's story!

interesting...its all very mysterious to be honest...i do get confused as to who the story revolves around maan/geet or dev...i do get the gist of it.

So far the story has been almost entirely based on Geet and Maan. Dev is a recent addition but yes, he is just as important a character as Geet, Maan or Heer. I would say that the story revolves around all of them.
