My most and least favorite word in the dictionary. One I try to outlast everyday before it consumes me...

So, that is all I was wanting to convey there...

Ah! is that so? But then people in their New York state of mind are still holding back on their own home grounds.

Seems like you are all hell-bent on making me go on a forced break soon, what with all the measly comments there.

Writers can write; appreciaters can appreciate; some with words some without or with a few. Do you realise how daunting it is to write a comment about the superb updates you give us? It is like a leaky faucet compared to Niagara falls.

^ amen to this! I acutally couldn't find the words to write for a comment for Parts 22 and 23, which is why my comments seem all over the place a lot of the times because I'm trying to give justice to your writing but still collect my thoughts in one place... if that makes sense 😆

So just picking up on the conversation from the other thread...

Compliments don't do well with me and the only reaction I can offer at the momet is a thank you for your kind words.

But...We can always keep the thread alive with questions and discussions. That has been long desired by me...however it was really a slap in the face when one kind reader told me that 'your stories don't need discussions...I go blank after reading your update' and I can't see it as anything else, when the topics of temptations, forbidden desires and moral grounds of the characters are always left to be talked about. Then there is always the alternate universe of story situations that could be pondered on...

Honestly I never look for flattery and instead would love to promote healthy readership and discussions. And may be a bit more ambitions and ask for a vested reader group that has a collective interest in my stories, that's all.

Looks like she's in need of a dream catcher rather than Maan...

Oh! it does...

Loved that last bit of inference...

"Wet dreams? Really? And that too Geet? I am not able to digest this Geet?

It just seems too early to have wet dreams (in the stage of attraction), especially from her end. I guess if Maan would have had the same dream with Geet in it, I could relate to that but not from Geet's end. Her subconscious dream realm is exploring the surreality that is beyond the physical world that she lives in, is she missing the physical intimacy? Does it matter who was in her dreams, it could very well be Dev. Is it her guilt that is making her call Dev in the middle of the night? Does this mean that she has accepted her attraction towards Maan? Why is it that when we feel guilty we run in the opposite directions...

I wonder what does it mean to dream about chocolates..."

I have to say, that's taken me by surprise that someone would say a story doesn't need a discussion. Every story has elements & depths to it that are hidden & can be explored - like you said yourself H, the possibilities are endless regarding discussions.

I can understand your desire for discussions as a writer myself :) so to keep your wishes as a writer, how about you leave a question for us at the end of the update for us to discuss? That way, it encourages people to get involved and keeps the thread alive :)

If Maan can have intimate dreams at this stage, why can't Geet? 😆

As a woman she has desires, suppressed desires like the reader has said due to her distant marriage, so when she meets a man who is physically attractive & seems to understand & connect with her on a whole different level than her husband of many years did, I think it is justifiable for her to dream of being close to Maan. To me, it seemed like the natural thing one would do in Geet's position...

Ah, what a shame :(

As readers we should be far more open minded than expect acceptance from everyone on a thread, although it is wonderful when you receive it 😳

It wasn't acceptance baba..I meant, she got bored because no one would take on the questions she posed.

This is a new part so I was also taken back at the intensity of her subconscious too. I did understand the pain in the rest of the update far more than the desire in Geet. I don't think that it is about morals at this point. Some thought is born in the head and no matter how much daylight and morals suppress it in the day; the thought evolves when we have least control of ourselves at night in our dreams. How to control that? There is no right or wrongs in dreams is there? About Dev, that is just grasping at straws don't you think?
