I was just wondering, the only difference in their states at the moment is that he accepts and is comfortable with what he feels for Geet, but Geet is having trouble doing that, understandably so...

Maan takes everything she says seriously... or is in agreement with most things she says. The way he hugged his grandmother and remembered her lines said it all...

So, I was wondering, would Maan's "you face your fears" have anything to do with Geet's dream? Maybe she is trying to accept what she feels for him, because she fears it so much... 😉

CH.23 sensual in the beginning ...that intimacy carried a sense of vulnerability vch brng accompolishmnt wth it...

n thn hr distress...so vry obvious...aftr all marriage s nt a by pass affair...how so evr fadng it may b... oftn people mre precisly women tke it as an offence to evn think of sm1 else byond ur spouse n thr she hd a love dream wth MAAN...

ths update reminded me of a case in Hindu Law...quite simlar it ws wth TIMES... thr also i flt vry bad fr tht ldy...

When I read her dream and the pain she goes through, it pierced me. She reminded me of a tethered bird in a cage with the door open. Very very poignant, very intense. This came from reading it all together. Her pain becomes physical.

Needless to say, Central Park was and always be one of favs. the element you added there with the staining of his shirt, as if marking him in a way as hers.

I do have to think more as I read it to comment in a half way decent manner. After all you put so much effort to take us there, we can at least describe the journey. Thanks a lot for the update Hasini.

Sorry folks! I have been lagging behind in my comments on this thread.

But Hey! What do you know...I pretty much got a lot of things established in the interim. A truck load of PMs sent out and I also finished a 3.5 hrs re-draft of NY Times yesterday. Imagine all the reading I had to do to get the scenes ordered...🥱

I'm almost positive that I have left a few scenes out. So if there are any special requests, this is the time to do.

Thanks Priti for being honest about your comments. It confirmed one of my many doubts with regards to her letter to Maan...

And given that I will take every opportunity there is to keep perfecting this FF, I have tweaked the last line of the note.

So here it is...

"Ok!

What did you expect? A hot chocolate packet? I want you to feel it, not drink it.

I hope the Tide packet covers for your shirt. :)

The salt water taffy was nothing, really. I just bought one for myself and thought it wouldn't hurt to get one for you too. Hey! don't look for motive behind my every doing. You won't find one. But...I think people should sometimes give into things beyond their agendas (Yes, if you didn't already figure out that that bit was directed at you, it was... LOL)

(Oh! don't curse at me, when it sticks to your teeth)

And lastly, the dream catcher...

Again, don't ask me why. Because, I don't have an answer.

I hope that one day you will wake up to that hot chocolate feeling...

Hey, I forgot to mention. I loved his bringing up Naini subconsciously... and Geet's misinterpretation of his meaning. It seemed very natural...

I know you have asked about parts that you have left out... I don't want to ask for anything for 2 reasons -

1. The story is flowing so perfectly well, I don't find anything amiss

2. It is ur story to tell. You will say the right things at the right time.

But, if I can make a request, it will be for something in that is yet to happen. I just wish to see a different reaction of Geet's when Dev asks her for a divorce. Not that I am complaining about the last one, but I think this story and character demands a different interpretation of that as well...
