PART 1

Maan gazed at his beloved wife's pale -face. She was in deep slumber for more than 24 hours now. Maan caressed geets hair in affection whilst he was lost in a whirlpool of thoughts. He recalled what the nurse stated earlier yesterday; did she really need help? No not at all! All that she requires is a bit of love and care. Maan was trying to satisfy himself with his answer however somewhere deep down he knows that he is living in illusion. But at least it's better than parting away from his better half. He loves Geet to such extents to which he has now words to describe. He cannot live a single minute without her. He knows that by not sending her to the hospital he will have to face sever ramifications and queries esp. by society, however he will bare all just for her. He jolted out of his thoughts when the door clicked open... "Can I come in" meera whispered. Maan signalled her to enter." How is she" meera enquired Maan sighed "look Maan I think we need to take her in these attacks are increasing and we have no significant explanation for her behaviour as we have not consulted a doctor i think it's time... meera's voice trailed off when she heard Maan hiss , "nooo"and he told her to leave. Meera left baffled. Maan looked at her retreating figure in anguish. At that same instant he felt Geet stir in her sleep and in reflex of the sound of the door; she jumped up and held her teddy that lay beside her. "Geet "Maan said softly. Geet looked at Maan and angrily turned her gaze. She then picked up items that were present in the room and started throwing them at Maan. "GEEETTT" Maan said "stop it this instance, kyu maar rahi ho mujeh"." Ouchhh" maan got wacked on the head by a glass , which started bleeding profusely. Maan strode towards Geet in fury and forcefully took the vase out of her hand and pined her to the wall. " Geet why the hell are you hitting me, HOW DARE YOU ", Maan roared. Geet looked at him intently and remained quiet. "TALK TO ME DAMMIT" Maan said. Geet still remained silent... she was testing his patience. Geet was trying to pry of his strong grip from her arms, however she was too vulnerable." I will not leave you until i get answers samjhii" Geet glared at him fiercely and said "chodo mujeh chodo, tumhe koi haq nahi hai mujeh chunne kah SAMJHE" Geet roared equally fierce. "GEET I am Ur husband I have Every Right to touch you understand." Geet pushed Maan off ignoring his every word and walked to the washroom. Maan face was contorted with fury. He walked towards her and stopped the bathroom door from closing. He pushed her inside and locked the door...
