Part3:Maan entered his supposedly immaculate room, though was not amused at seeing broken glass pieces scattered against the floor. Maan reeked from alcohol. A strong stench diffused in the room making it feel congested, however Geet's posture did not change even once. She lay on the bed, stone cold. Maan strode towards her like a lion going to capture his prey. He grabbed her by the arms and started shaking her vigorously, in attempt to see her react to his dominating behaviour.
Maan: GEETTT ... move, talk, sleep; Do anything. Maan said in despair.
Geet shoved his hands away harshly and moved and situated herself on the coarse ground. Maan looked at her perplexed.
Maan: Geeettt what are u doing? This is absolutely inane; Get up from the floor this instant.
Geet just stared into space and as Maan was about to approach her she screamed cacophonously; deafening his ears. Maan couldn't take it anymore after all he is 'Maan Singh Khuranna' he never falls onto anyone knees not even his parents, so Geet was just mere. He had enough of her tantrums and her stubbornness. If he had to apply force to get her back to normal he would do it no matter what. And he would definitely find out what trauma she has faced that she is behaving so rationally. He then forcefully picked her up and laid her and himself on the bed. He held her potently against himself obliging her to sleep. She consistently tried prying him off however it did not affect him, he then fell asleep keeping his hold fixed against her petit waist. Geet sighed in anguish; she couldn't even bare his touch. She felt suffocated. Sobs racked her body. There was a giant hole in her heart and she knew nothing would ever be the same...
Flashback
Geet was lying on her bed fantasising about Maan, when geets mother came in the room with a fierce look on her face.
Geets mother: Geet how dare you defame are family reputation like this, i forbid you from meeting maan do you understand otherwise you will have to face severe consequences.
Geet: b..u..tt
geets moda: just shut upp.
geet : lekin ma maine aise kya kardiya
geet motha: agar kuch kaam nahi karna then don't . Do you even know what the societies latest gossips are today?? They are talking about your and maans illegitimate relationship.
Geets stood there shell-shocked. She had never crossed her limit with Maan and neither has he.
Geet: this is not true... Geets voice trailed off when geets mother said" enough from now onwards you will not see Maan". Geets mother left the room banging the door on the way out. Geet felt as if it was a slap on her face.
She sat on her bed waling the whole night.
The next day, Maan came to visit Geet he never found it necessary to knock the door asking permission he just entered, when geets mum stopped him half-way...
Geets mother: How dare you enter this house? After you have created all this rucas in our family geets mother roared
Maan stood there astonished!
Maan: excuse me.. aunty what have i done?
Geets mother: stop acting oblivious maan, u knw what u have commited, and u still had the guts to come to this doorstep! Just Get out !
Maan: AUNTY!! I will leave only till u tell me what i have done that u are behaving so rationally with me.
Geet mother: wah maan wah .. u are having an affair with my daughter creating family domestics and you are yelling trying to create more scenes! Leave from here this instant.
Maans stood there astounded the only thing that was ringing in his ears was what aunty had said about him and geet having an affair! How is that possible, he had never looked at geet in that way, she was only his best friend?
Before maan could justify Geet came running down the stairs her face completely tear-stricken. Before maan could react geet threw her arms over his broad chest and sobbed profusely. To be continued...
