The conflict between him and Maaneet could have carried the show, while maintaining the original story but they have butchered him so much now that I think it would be best if they just wrote him out of the story.

I agree with both you and Richa. The baby track had all the potentials. Although Dev had accepted Maan-Geet marriage, the baby still could have remained as a point of conflict between the brothers and Samir's acting prowess could have been well utilized. But now nothing can be done. So lets enjoy the current track. But I can still see one scope for reviving Dev and thats by making use of stalker's knowledge of Geet's past. The only common thing that connects pre-ML Maan and post-ML Maan is his love for Geet. But still ML Maan has no knowledge of Dev-Geet past. I am not sure if a psychopathic stalker would be intelligent enough to use this to create rift between Maan-Geet. But this can certainly divide Devini and out of sheer desperation about the roller coaster the life of his has become due to Maan's unforgiveness this time, can trigger the negative side of Dev before the stalker drama gets over. It would be a miracle if dev is revived in GHSP. Whats wrong in hoping?

I feel CVs r still deciding the track of this stalker and so they r still going on with the old promo till the point things r finalised mayb 🤔...

@Jyoti: In one of the first articles released about this track, they said that the character was going to be a cross between Shahrukh in Darr and Suneil Shetty in Dhadkan. Obviously we have seen the SRK aspect of the character but the Suneil Shetty side is yet to be revealed which I hope will come out in the form of a corporate war track. That would be a treat to watch but I think MP is not smart enough to write such a thing and this is my fear.

I feel this is also why there is a lack of logic in this track that is bothering many viewers. MP is just not an intelligent writer who thinks about things but so far in this track they have reduced his role a lot. There is no story yet, so to speak and it has mostly been character oriented which is Sundeep and Barry's job rather than MP's. I see this as the team playing on their strengths (direction, dialogue and acting) and minimising the role of those aspects that are weak (writing/story) which is smart, but they can't go on like this for much longer.

I think they have exhausted this Geet getting scared of the stalker's disembodied voice and running into Maan's arms bit. They need to get the ball rolling on the story side if they want to maintain the momentum of this track so I really hope we see a new promo tomorrow. They have had ample time to decide the next direction of the story so I expect this much from them.

I would love to see Vikram playing a double game and I still think the fact that they haven't revealed his last name carries some significance. I just really wish we could get a stronger writer to balance out the logic aspect with the drama and concentrate on details. It's all in the details, which I can see back in full force on the technical side, but not on the story side.

Even Iam clueless why he didn't mention his surname. If he is soo obsessed with geet why he didn't come in front of her and scaring her from far?Why he is not at all worried abt comming in front of maan and he was sure maan cannot do anything even they come face to face.

@Richa I am hoping (HOPING!) the answer to your question is that Viks has planned this for a long time and the information that he reveals or doesn't, choosing whether to appear in front of Geet or not is all part of this grand plan that will be revealed to us slowly.

@Samana:U do hv a strong point ...yes Sundeep is brilliant with direction ..Barry is spot on with dialogues for every character and all 3 actors r flawless with their acting which makes all the last week and this week episodes so very interesting and dramatic ..but yes from a screenplay and story POV there is still lot left to b desired and that is where Mahesh and co comes in the picture ...
