Hey Jaz...
hmm so this wasn't meant to be sad
You are right... the bond that a daughter shares with her father is very special and dear... As a kid i ve been completely daddy's girl much to my mom's annoyance coz in his absense i used to give her a pretty difficuly time😆
those nitty-gritty... chotu chotu nuances... develops and nutures the bond that a daughter shares with his father...
I loved it all the while... when Geet lays her trust in her father... she proudly and as a matter of fact states that she knows that he will not let her fall... while her lessons... her wedding... his assuring her and inturn coming to the stage when she assures him😊 his reluctance of her decision and than his approval,... u reminded me of 'father of the bride' there😆 but all tht he does to ensure his daughter is in safe hands and happy... that someone would be there to look after her when he wouldn't be there with her... the feelings the emotions were beautifully expressed
than when the biopsy bit comes into picture... i felt a thud... for i know how it feels being a daughter... for there was time when i was close to losing my dad... and than a few months later my mom! but God has been kind and great for i have my parent's and their blessings by my side...
the ending was perfect... no matter when the body dies... the soul remains... and she knew that it was that sould of her father who would be looking after her son too just like he ensured her safety
Thanks a ton Jaz for the beautiful piece👏👏👏... as always you rock👍🏼

Well commenting on this OS with tears in my eyes... 😭
I truly agree with u wid the importance of father in r lives.. Even I ask for bits of money frm him every now and then...
I remember one instance from past when I was in class 11th I was once stuck sumwhere in traffic and due to heavy rains could not find my way out...
I just managed to find a STD-PCO as mobiles werent that common at that time and called up my father asking him to pick me up... When he asked me the location of where I was, I couldnt even tell him that... I just kept asking him to pick me up... It took him just 15 minutes to locate me just by asking me the places arnd me... He still makes fun of me for that instance but I trust him sooo much that even today if I call him and ask him sumthing, he may leave all his important work and rush to help me...

Probably he is the only person I can trust so much ever in my life...

Today morning I was dancing arnd in the entire house just becoz I had got my joining date for my job when he commented... "Achcha hai aab mujhse paise nhi legi... Aab se apna budget khud maintain karna..." I started laughing hard and told him aisa to ho hi nhi sakta... I will keep all my oney in the bank account and still use ur money for spending even for my palour work...😉

Its truly Gods blessing to have such loving parents with us...
I agree one should nt forget to mention and shower parents with al the love possible...
Aaahhh... I love my father sooo much... ❤️

Oops...
In my stories I just forgot to comment on ur work...
It was again a sad story from ur end...
But still ur story rocked... 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
Truly we trust our fathers with anything and everything...
I can never ever think of loss of my father... The mere thought of it can take my life... I wonder how could Geet take in the fact of her father's biopsy...
I have been my father's daughter always as my mom was more busy with my sister as she required much of mom's attention since she was born due to her health conditions but still my dad has pampered me the most and even till date he is the one who takes care of me just like a two year old kid...
The father-daughter relationship is indeed the most important relationship just as a mother-daughter relationship...
Hugs to u for writing such a great OS... 🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗
Love

You literally made me cry while reading all these beautiful lines.
Its a wonderful journey Geet had shared with her Dad.
She would treasure it all her life. Same goes to every child of a dad.
Thx for this wonderful OS
