Anu, talking of the touchy feely thing between Maaneet, this is what I posted yesterday in the den.



I have to say this. Yesterday I was watching Saath nibhaya Saathiya repeats as I did not have anything better to do and my teen son got really interested in the show and asked me when the show airs so that he can watch it regularly. I asked him why is he interested in such saas-bahu stuff and he told me that it is fun to watch the characters plot against each other. He did not stop with that. He said that it was better than 'my' Geet because all they show is Maaneet romance. 'Maan and Geet are too much Mummy. All they do is cuddle each other. When are they going to get married?" I told him that they were already married. "Oh so that is why they are overacting?" he exclaimed. "What do you mean by overacting?" I asked innocently. "They are forever touching each other. Even offscreen." I asked him where he saw them offscreen. "In those interviews you watch on youtube." he retorted back. "They behave like they are real life couple, giggling and pulling each other."


At the end of that conversation I learnt two things. One, Star One has a point wanting to convert their youth channel into a family drama channel, if people's tastes mirror that of my son's. Two, Gurti must watch out if they don't want tongues wagging. Even casual viewing of their interviews is giving ideas to people, including young minds.

Thanks, Opti, for providing the link. It has saved me a hunt. I am inclined to start with Strangers, because you have already converted it into a Maaneet fanfic.

Do you intend to convert Great Expectations into a Maaneet fanfic? If yes, I'd prefer to wait for that. If not, I'll read it as is, after I have completed reading Strangers.

In the show as Hubby and wife they are very touchy touchy most of the times when they are together...Also one more thing to note is that they do it so cutely and naturally that we don't fell it overdone anytime😳...I have seen my Bro's and sis's who are married...they are so simillar to Maaneet 😆

Also coming to their off Screen comfort and rapo ... If u have seen DD's pics with her friends...she is the same with everyone...and GC DD have MAX scenes together so their comfort and friendship off screen speaks up in interviews...

but we fans and other normal viewers do feel dot's even in these simple things

U know my Granny..when she see's a boy or a girl sitting together close in park to moving in bikes..she says ... what are children up upto...😆😆
I tell her..Grandma...they may be just friends...buddies or even relatives or Bro sis even...why comment when u do not know😆😆

In one end it is natural human mentality to make 2+2=5 most of the times😆
