This story is based on the original show Geet hui sabse parayi. This is a canon based story. What if Maan was lost after the attack planned by Pammi instead of partial memory loss? This story has no stupid Holi track or Amritsar track. Maan and Geet got married with all the pomp . Dev never returned. Maan never got into an accident. Geet somehow lost her baby. After this, Maan and Geet got over their loss and enjoyed post-marital bliss. Went on an actual honeymoon to Switzerland and spent some amazing romantic time. Geet actually started working in Khurana Constructions. After some time Dev (who is the actual villian ) and his mother Pammi returned and attacked Maan.

Setting:

Modern-day Delhi and surrounding countryside, with occasional flashbacks to Hoshiarpur.

Plot Summary

Geet Handa, a strong-willed girl from Hoshiarpur, was once deceived and abandoned by Dev Khurana, who married her under false pretenses and disappeared. That betrayal left Geet emotionally shattered, especially when her own family turned against her. She moved to Delhi to rebuild her life, where fate brought her face-to-face with Maan Singh Khurana — a powerful, brooding businessman with a stern exterior but a just heart.

Initially, Maan and Geet clashed often — their personalities were too different, and their pride too strong. However, slowly, Maan grew to admire Geet's courage and resilience. Geet, though guarded due to her past, found herself drawn to the man who always stood up for what was right, even when it meant going against his own.

As they spent more time together — both professionally and personally — sparks flew. Their love blossomed amid challenges: misunderstandings, societal expectations, and the shocking truth that Dev was Maan’s stepbrother.

When Maan found out that Geet's past trauma was caused by Dev, he was devastated — not because of the connection to Dev, but because of the pain Geet endured. Despite the betrayal, Maan stood by her side, breaking all familial ties and fighting against every obstacle to earn her trust and love. Their love story became one of healing and redemption, not just for Geet, but for Maan too, who had always felt distant from emotional bonds. Geet lost her pregnancy because of a miscarriage.

But happiness doesn’t last long.

Unknown to them, Dev — bitter, angry, and manipulated by his mother, Pammi — plotted revenge. Pammi blamed Geet for the fallout in her family and Dev’s ruined life. Together, they orchestrated a sinister plan.

One night, just a few months into their marriage, while returning from a business trip, Maan is ambushed by goons hired by Dev and Pammi. Geet, who senses something wrong when Maan doesn’t return, searches for him in desperation. Police find bloodied clothes near a cliff and declare Maan presumed dead.

The Khurana mansion is plunged into grief. Geet, however, refuses to believe Maan is gone. Something deep in her heart tells her he's alive — that their love is stronger than death.

SCENE 1 – A LOVE FORGED BY FIRE

The morning sunlight filters through the sheer curtains of the Khurana mansion. Geet stands on the balcony, her hair tousled by the wind, wearing Maan's kurta. She gazes out, a soft smile playing on her lips.

Geet (softly to herself):

"Jab zindagi ne mujhe sab kuch cheen liya tha... tab aap aaye the, Maan. Aapne mujhe jeena sikhaya."

Footsteps behind her. She turns. Maan, in his usual crisp black shirt, stands holding two cups of coffee.

Maan (teasing):

"Akele akele muskurana mana hai, Mrs. Khurana."

Geet (smiling):

"Aapke saath zindagi itni khoobsurat hai... lagta hai jaise har dard ka matlab tha."

Maan walks up to her, wraps an arm around her waist.

Maan (intensely):

"Main har pal yeh dua karta hoon Geet... ki main tumhare saare dard mita doon. Tum sirf pyaar mehsoos karo — mera pyaar."

They lean in, foreheads touching, as the camera fades to white.

SCENE 2 – SHADOWS OF THE PAST

Dev watches them from a distance, hidden behind a car, his face twisted with jealousy and rage. Pammi stands beside him, cold and calculating.

Dev (gritting his teeth):

"Woh sab kuch le gaya, Ma. Business, izzat... aur Geet."

Naintara (venomously):

"Waqt aa gaya hai Dev... Maan ko sabak sikhaane ka. Geet ko usne chheen liya tha, ab main uski duniya chheen loongi."

Dev nods slowly, darkness rising in his eyes.

SCENE 3 – THE GOODBYE THAT NEVER WAS

Night.

Maan packs his bag for a business trip to Chandigarh. Geet helps him, unusually quiet.

Maan (noticing):

"Kya baat hai Geet? Tum itni khamosh kyun ho?"

Geet (softly):

"Pata nahi kyun... mann ghabra raha hai. Aapko bhejne ka mann nahi kar raha."

Maan (cupping her face):

"Tumhare Maan ko kuch nahi hoga, Geet. Tumhara pyaar hai mere saath."

Geet (hugging him tightly):

"Vaada kariye... aap wapas aaoge."

Maan (whispers in her hair):

"Vaada."

SCENE 4 – THE ATTACK

Dark highway. Maan’s car screeches to a halt. Goons surround it. Dev watches from a distance, face unreadable.

Maan (getting out):

"Kaun ho tum log?"

A masked figure steps forward — it’s Dev. Maan is stunned.

Maan (in disbelief):

"Dev?! Yeh sab kya hai?"

Dev (coldly):

"Sirf tumhara ant, Bhai. Tumne mujhe har baar neecha dikhaya. Ab meri baari hai."

A violent scuffle ensues. Maan fights fiercely but is eventually overwhelmed. One blow to the head — everything goes black.

SCENE 5 – THE WAIT

Next morning. Khurana Mansion.

Geet paces the hall in panic. Her phone keeps dialing — no answer. The door bursts open. Adi runs in, pale.

Adi (shaking):

"Geet... unki car... ek cliff ke paas mili hai. Khoon tha... lekin Maan sir..."

Geet's legs buckle. She grabs Adi’s arm.

Geet (almost screaming):

"Lekin unka kya?! Woh kahaan hain?! Batao mujhe!"

Adi (choked):

"Woh... missing hain, Ma'am. Police keh rahi hai... Maan sir shayad..."

He stops. Can’t say it. Tears fall from Geet's eyes.

Geet (whispers, trembling):

"Nahi... Maan ko kuch nahi ho sakta. Unhone vaada kiya tha."

SCENE 6 – THE SILENCE AFTER THE STORM

Days pass. The mansion is draped in mourning. Geet sits alone in their room, clutching his shirt, eyes blank. Rain pours outside.

Flashback of Maan’s laughter. His hand in hers. His promises.

Geet (softly, voice breaking):

"Mujhe nahi chahiye yeh duniya, Maan... sirf aap chahiye the. Aap jaise the... jaise rehna chahte the... waisa hi pyaar kiya tha maine aapse."

She closes her eyes. A single tear runs down her cheek.

Geet (whispers):

"Aap kahin gaye nahiaapseAap yahin ho. Maan Singh Khurana kabhi haar nahi sakta... na mujhse... na maut se."

Thunder crashes. The camera zooms in on a photo of them together — Geet’s hand trembling as she touches it.

CHAPTER 2 – "Aap Ne Jo Sikhaya..."

It’s been one week since Maan Singh Khurana was declared missing — presumed dead.

The Khurana Mansion has turned into a shell of silence and grief. Black drapes cover the entrance. Photographs of Maan, wreathed in white flowers, adorn the living room. But Geet hasn’t let them light the diya.

SCENE 1 – SHATTERED ROOTS

Dadima sits in her wheelchair in the living room, her hands trembling over Maan’s childhood photo. Arohi is curled up near her feet, weeping silently.

Dadima (faintly):

"Maan... mere bache... aap humse yeh kaise dur chale gaye..."

Geet walks in slowly, her face pale but composed. She's still wearing the same red bangle Maan gifted her on their wedding night. She kneels by Dadima and holds her hand firmly.

Geet (quiet but steady):

"Aap unka diya diya nahi jala sakti, Dadima. Kyunki Maan Singh Khurana... zinda hain."

Arohi looks up with red-rimmed eyes.

Arohi (bitterly):

"Bhabhi... police ne keh diya hai na—blood on the cliff, broken car—"

Geet (interrupting):

"Sirf khoon hone se maut sabit nahi hoti, Arohi. Main unka ehsaas karti hoon... har pal. Unki saans meri saanso mein hai."

Dadima’s tears flow again. But she sees the fire in Geet’s eyes — the same fire Maan had.

SCENE 2 – THE BUSINESS HE LEFT BEHIND

Geet walks through Khurana Constructions. The receptionists fall silent. The staff avoids her eyes. The board is losing faith. Investors are pulling out.

Geet (thinking, voice-over):

"Aapke bina sab kuch ajnabi lagta hai, Maan sir... lekin main aapka sapna bikharne nahi dungi."

She enters the boardroom. The directors glance at each other, unsure.

Director 1:

"Mrs. Khurana, hum samajhte hain aap emotionally attached hain, lekin... business experience—"

Geet (firmly):

"Main iss company ki partner hoon. Lekin main aap sabko yaad dilana chahti hoon ki yeh company mere pati ka sapna tha. Agar unhone mujhe sikhaya hai, toh meri zimmedaari hai usse zinda rakhna."

SCENE 3 – FLASHBACK: "AAP NE JO SIKHAYA..."

Geet is in Maan’s cabin, overwhelmed with files. Her hands tremble as she opens the laptop. A memory washes over her.

FLASHBACK – A few months ago

Maan (stern but gentle):

"Geet, business sirf numbers ka khel nahi hota. Risk lena padta hai. Lekin samajh ke. Tumhare andar dum hai. Mujhe tum par bharosa hai."

Geet (nervously):

"Lekin mujhe toh abhi sab kuch samajhne mein samay lagega..."

Maan walks over, places his hands on her shoulders.

Maan (softly):

"Main hoon na. Har kadam pe. Aur jab main nahi bhi rahunga... toh yeh yaad rakhna, Geet — tum kisi se kam nahi ho."

He smiles slightly.

Maan:

"Aur haan — meri kursi par sirf meri patni baith sakti hai."

FLASHBACK ENDS. Geet sits in Maan’s chair, her eyes moist. She runs her fingers over the desk, whispers:

Geet:

"Aap ne jo sikhaya tha... wohi aaj mera sahara hai."

SCENE 4 – NEW STRENGTH

*Montage:

Geet and Dadima working through files

Arohi slowly stepping out of her grief, helping with media

Geet facing the board again — stronger, more composed

Media speculates, “Mrs. Khurana: Too young, too naive?”

Geet walking past the press, chin high, fire in her eyes*

SCENE 5 – ALONE AT NIGHT

Late night. Mansion is silent. Geet walks into their room, holding Maan’s watch. She lies on the bed, hugging his shirt.

Geet (softly):

"Aapne kaha tha na... jab bhi main kamzor padungi, aap mujhe yaad dilayenge ki main kitni mazboot hoon. Toh kyun aap itni door chale gaye, Maan?"

She closes her eyes. The screen fades to black.

CHAPTER 3 – "Main Tumhari Zimmedari Hoon"

SCENE 1 – STRENGTH IN SHATTERED SPACES

Khurana Mansion – Study Room

Files cover the desk. Adi stands beside Geet, nervous as ever, but his eyes show loyalty. Dadima is seated behind her, dignified yet grieving.

Adi (softly):

"Ma’am... board ne agle week ke meeting ke liye postpone kiya hai. Woh... investors abhi bhi trust lose kar rahe hain..."

Geet (calmly):

"Let them. Hum unhe results dikhayenge. Maan sir ke sapne pe sirf naam nahi, vishwas bhi likha tha."

Dadima nods proudly, placing her hand over Geet’s.

Dadima:

"Tumhara hausla... mujhe Maan ki yaad dilata hai, beta."

SCENE 2 – AROHI'S ESCAPE

Living Room – Arohi storms in, her makeup smudged, phone in hand.

Arohi:

"Bhabhi, I can’t stay locked here anymore! I want to go to my friend’s farmhouse—just for a week."

Geet turns from the window, her voice steady, firm.

Geet:

"Maan sir mujhe hamesha kehte the... 'Zimmedaari se bhaagna sabse asaan hota hai, lekin jeet tab hoti hai jab tum usse gale lagati ho.'"

Arohi scoffs, but Geet walks to her and gently takes her hand.

Geet:

"Main aapse aapka dard nahi cheen sakti, Arohi. Par main aapse aapka sapna bhi nahi cheen sakti. Aapka college aapka future hai. Usse mat chhodiye."

Arohi’s expression crumbles. She nods, hugging Geet suddenly, tightly.

SCENE 3 – FLASHBACK: "AGAR KAL NA RAHUN..."

Night. Their bedroom. Geet sits brushing her hair in the mirror. Maan is behind her, staring at her reflection, intense.

Maan:

"Kabhi socha hai Geet, agar main ek din achanak chala jaaun toh...?"

Geet freezes, looks at him through the mirror.

Geet (angry):

"Aap aisi baatein kyun karte hain? Aapko kya lagta hai, main jee paungi bina aapke?"

Maan (softly):

"Main sirf tayyar kar raha hoon... kyunki zindagi predictable nahi hoti."

Geet turns sharply and walks up to him.

Geet (eyes burning):

"Main aapko khona nahi chaahti. Na kabhi, na kisi bhi wajah se. Aap mera saans ho Maan."

Maan cups her face, brushing her tears with his thumbs.

Maan (intense whisper):

"Aur tum meri taqat. Agar kabhi main nahi rahun... toh meri Geet meri jagah le."

SCENE 4 – THE TRAINING

FLASHBACK CONTINUES: Maan in the office, pacing with a file in hand. Geet sits beside him, sleepy but focused.

Maan:

"Geet, if this contract collapses, so does the Jaipur branch. Look at the clause here — kya galti hai?"

Geet (yawning):

"Termination ke baad bhi liability clause active hai... yeh unfair hai."

Maan (smiling):

"Exactly. Tum sikh rahi ho. Slow learner ho, lekin stubborn bhi ho."

Geet (mock glare):

"Main aapki patni hoon. Aap se ziddi hona toh mera haq hai."

SCENE 5 – PRESENT: A WOMAN TRANSFORMING

Geet walks into the boardroom — sleek saree, hair tied back, sharp eyes. Adi walks beside her with a laptop. The directors glance up.

Director 2 (surprised):

*"Mrs. Khurana...?"

Geet (strong and clear):

"Presentation ke saath aayi hoon. Humara Mumbai project delay hua hai. But I’m proposing a new architecture firm partnership — cost-cutting 18%, delivery 2 weeks earlier."

Geet presses the clicker. Slides change. Adi looks proud.

The room is silent — surprised — but impressed.

SCENE 6 – NIGHT OF PASSION REMEMBERED

Late night. Geet in their room. She opens Maan’s wardrobe, running her fingers over his shirts. Finds an old note tucked inside a jacket pocket.

It’s in his handwriting:

"Agar kabhi main chala jaaun... yaad rakhna, tumhari aankhon mein jeena meri sabse badi jeet thi."

She breaks. Collapses onto the bed, clutching the note to her chest. Flashbacks of their love — dancing in the rain, his hand brushing her cheek, his lips on her forehead.

Geet (through tears):

"Aapko haarne ka toh sawal hi nahi uthta, Maan. Main aapka intezaar karungi. Har pal, har saans mein."

Baahon mein teri aake laga

Mera safar toh yahi tak hai
