Maan and Geet are standing under the tree of life, after weathering all storms. The wheel leaning against the tree is the wheel of time. It has come a full circle and brought together Maaneet after resolving their misunderstanding. Time they say is a great healer and so it was with Maaneet.
From their standing posture one can make out that they are standing there as equals, side by side. Maan is closer to the wire bed. As I had earlier said, the bed indicates their marital relationship. As their marital relationship is yet to be fully consummated we can see them standing near the bed but not sittting on it. Maan seems more keen to take their relationship to the next level, gauging from the fact that he is closer to the bed, but then he cannot do much on his own, can he? His ladylove is standing a few inches from him - so close yet so far. Light is falling on the bed, so may be their consummation may happen in the near future - by near future I mean in soap opera time which could be anywhere between one week and one month. Significantly two brightly coloured dupattas are hanging over the bed. Dupattas are a symbol of honour for a woman. Yellow is the colour of marriage and pink the colour of love. So I guess when the time is right Geet will gift herself to her husband, both out of love and of duty, as he is the keeper of her honour.
Coming to Lucky, he is symbolic of her family. Well, Maaneet's journey to the bed will be impeded by her family. Lucky has his back to Maaneet and is speaking to someone over the phone. The phone is a means of communication. Going by the expression on his face, he looks confused, indicating that her family will remain confused due to miscommunication and will not suspect Balwant's relationship with Geet. The design in Lucky's t-shirt also appears to be indecipherable. Seeing the confused and perplexed expressions on Maaneet's face as they watch Lucky, it appears that Maaneet will be as confused by Geet's family and the way they would react to them as the family is about the guy who has landed up as their 'MSK'.
The shadow of the tree is behind the tree, is to the east and is smaller than the object (tree). What does this convey? Well, the sun is shining in front of the object, which is why the shadow is behind and the length and direction of the shadow indicates it has been cast by the afternoon sun , maybe a little after mid day, when the shadow would have been right below the object.
This shows that with light of enlightenment about each other's feelings shining on them, Maaneet have left behind their past which had cast a dark shadow in their lives. Now the past is there, but has reduced in size and with time, will fade away.
The reference to their past could also be gleaned from the closed door which could indicate that they have shut out their past and will now look to their future.
Taking off from what Medha said about the two serpent like designs on the drum could refer to Beeji and Teji, I would say that their serpentine quality is because of the weight of societal norms they are bearing (notice the sack on top of that drum?) .
And the creepers behind Maaneet could mean Pammi and Lacchi who may be behind them, to snoop (Lacchi) or to make sure they are alright (Pammi). As Medha also suggested, they, like creepers, rely on others for their sustenance, Lachhi in Beeji and Pammi, on Teji.
The towels to the right of us could indicate Maaneet have washed and wiped off all the stains in their relationship.
I think that's about it.
