I need to get this off my chest. What the heck are the writers thinking? Have they lost their marbles? I am maha annoyed with them.

Geet forgave Dev 🥳 .....great wonderful 👏 👏 👏.......I think this calls for a celebration 🤪 . He was never punished for his crimes and now he never will be 👏 👏 😡. What a wonderful ideal to show ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️. I know that a girl who went through the same trauma that Geet did can almost never get justice in the real world. 😡 😡 😡 I hoped it would be different in the reel world. But obviously that will never happen in this series. 🤪

Between Dev and NT, Dev is the bigger criminal but they always painted NT as the mastermind. NT did not ask Dev to sleep with Geet, in fact she even tried to stop him and he slapped her for trying. But somehow in the eyes of the writers he is not as much at fault as NT. I wonder why 🤔

But then what more can we expect from people who had a girl throwing herself at a man who took advantage of her and then treated her like dirt. And now he becomes her savior when he rescues her from another man trying to take advantage of her 🤡 🤪. WOW. Amazing. This guy now deserves a medal for saving this girl. A round of applause please 🤪

The characterization of women in this show has really gone for a toss.Please note that I am not blaming or bashing Geet or any other character but the writers.On one hand there is Annie who has no self respect whatsoever and runs after the very man who took advantage of her. On the other hand there is Geet who conveniently forgets the man who did a lot to help her and decides to forgive the man who cheated her cos she wants to move on 🤪......yeah forget all the hardships she went through and all that she had to face 😛 ..... that is of very little consequence now. What matters now is that she forgive the perpetrator of the crime. 👏 👏 👏

Now it looks like there is more nonsense to come with her husband doubting her fidelity because of this august gesture of hers 👏....what an amazing happening.

Last but not the least. 😉
Take home message listen up everyone 🤡 🤪
1) It pays to commit crimes because you will never be punished. 😆 😆 😆
2) IF you are caught you can always repent for your crimes and you will be forgiven. 👍🏼
3) Do not worry you may go to jail for a few days but hey it improves your street cred man 😎 😉, plus they will set you free in oh let's see 48 hours.😎
😆4) Also if you are the victim it is in your best interest to forgive the criminal because the most important thing to you is not justice, it is that you should move on with your life. 😛 Justice gaya tel lene
5) Arrey so what if you suffered innumerable hardships, who cares for that 😕....do I look like I care 😳 .....so you should not care either and just take the easy road. 😆 😆 😆
6) As the victim, do not bother to pursue any legal action. You see you will never get justice 😭 but if you want to move on - forget the crime and forgive the criminal and move on so that the perpetrator can go ruin some more innocent lives 😲 or even better come back and ruin your life all over again. 😃 😃 😃

If you have not guessed it already this post is sarcastic. The fact that they are letting Dev go scot free after what he did to Geet is pathetic, smacks of lack of imagination and also lack of social responsibility 😡 😡 😡. I thought GHSP would be different in this regard but I guess I was wrong.

They started with great ideals saying that they would show a very strong woman who would fight for justice and now they show this. I hope they can turn this around because they are just washing away all the goodwill they built.

I am hoping they do not go the time honored route of Maan suspecting Geet's fidelity 🤢 🤢 🤢 . Maan suspecting Geet of getting close to Dev is wrong on so many levels that I do not even know where to start.Instead if they want an MU it should be because of their opposing views of life and the fact that they are individuals who need to learn to communicate.

Sorry for the rant but I had to get it off my chest. The feminist in me could not take this crap quietly anymore.

I have no issues with Geet forgiving Dev after he has paid for his sins by doing time in prison but not before that.

Whew that felt better 😃 .

Well we should have seen this coming when daarji was shown remorseful and was forgiven while he should have been charged for attempting to murder and Geet suddenly out of the blue started missing her parents during the wedding. Ever since the writers have changed, the show has more or less transformed from a real-life tragedy to a daily drama. I am inclined to think men like such drama more than women....hence such a drastic change from Swati Pandey's time to now. We haven't received anything except misunderstandings which is soooo unreal. We, at least I, cannot relate to the show anymore.

I felt cheated as die hard feminist inside me really hoped they will show justice not forgiveness....But anyway It too much to expect from daily soap...show us real solution....I expected from Ballika vadhu I failed..........I expected here I failed....one actually glamorized child marriage other glorified Fake NRI marriage......

Dev's Mistake or Crime??

Past few episodes we have been again hearing Dev making a mistake? For me what he did is crime and he has to be punished.

Crime: Definitions of crime as deviant behavior that violates prevailing norms ' cultural standards prescribing how humans ought to behave normally.

Mistake is an error.

So for many of us, what Dev did is a crime and he has to be punished and he has to pay for his sins!

I am quoting it here ......because I felt same..There is no forgiveness for crime.....its for mistake,,,,,,,,,I know you never intended social message show...........but you could left it there..........we would have waited for justice........not closed this chapter with such moral less...ethic less idea of forgiveness.....Lets preach that......why to fight.....better forgive and move on.....because fighting for justice cant be easy............its require.....ur past to interfere into present again and again.....A fighter is always winner whether you win or loose....A fighter never quits and quitter never win......so Geet lost her battle..and she is quitter so neither she is fighter in any sense nor she will be winner in future .........I used to make fun of Pratigya , Ballika Vadhu, Bairi Piya...Na ANA iss dehs lado....why to start a show fighting for women injustice and then end up giving worst solution on earth...You joined the league...rather you topped the league in worst solution..............forgive the rapist and attain Nirvana...............
GHSP is not different...is usual soap .........I guess only its fans were different ....who stupidly considered it different

I feel its also bcuz the writers are men.. they fail to bring that essence of how woman would behave/react accordingly. All the men in this show from Dev to Arjun, Maan to Nakewl🤣 all are mahaan. And Daadi, Geet, Annie, NT get the bashing and behave moodily. 😳😆

You see, its the chauvinism again from writers' side. 😎 😆

Great post. I agree with you 100%. The least cvs can do is to stick to the ideals they started this show with. The social message got lost along the way.

Geet has forgiven Dev because she wants to move on. Hatred for Dev was the last thing binding her with him. She is free now. She finally got rid of her past and is ready to start her new life with Maan.

But personally I do think that Dev and NT should be punished in the court of law even if Geet has forgiven Dev.

I don't think the CVs ever had any intension of sending out any message to the society. The GHSP long ago ceased to be a story of a girl who stood against her family to protect the baby and came to Delhi to seek justice and start a new independent life. Its been reduced to a mere love story. I did not like the way they have been portraying the criminal as a victim lately.
