However, I must clarify that my attempt to find logic is NOT to give clean chit to the CVs ( the very fact we are making such attempts speaks against them), but to retain logic in a much beloved story. You do not know what this show has done for me. I feel awakened after a long period of hibernation, and it is not far fetched to say that it is this show that has done this to me. So, I will fight for logic in my favorite show, for my favorite characters until it passes from the realms of rationality so completely that it is difficult to even assume points that will make it seem logical. Thankfully, it has not yet reached that state.

but i'm not much of a positive person & certainly not good at reading in between the lines or imagine something that has not been shown to me,....so its me who wont assume or presume it thats what i meant ...& i never saw anwesha being mentioned yet now we have her here & Cvs have not prepared any true ground for entry to fit in & thats what is erring me ... i need to see logic & feelings ....to be attached to or be one with a thought ...& thats what i'm missing in the current track ....

Ignore my outburst. It was not aimed at you. I just wanted to clarify my stand for anyone else who might be reading this thread.

I agree. Sometimes, he gets less leeway.

Coming back to Mr. Maan Singh Khurana... if this sister really knew him that well... she would have been surprised to hear his apology... remeber dadi was shocked and immediately saw Geet to be the one... which Anvesha wasn't... she should have seen the difference in him then and there... he was smiling more than usual, showering her with more affection than he would usually and all those small things which was never expressed... So i presume Maan had always been like this with her!

I have actually dealt with arrogant persons like this before in my workplace. My real life experience is that when you sort of go a step down in order to accommodate them, they do not acknowledge it, rather they think they deserve it. So, if she is what I think she is, then she will think that she deserves any "sorry" Maan offers to her. She is not going to act surprised like Dadi. At least, that is my opinion based on my own experiences. So, I will still give him some leeway in this and will choose not to accept the fact that he is in habit of offering apologizes to her until the CVs offer concrete proof otherwise.

That brings a whole lot of change in the equations of Maan's persona... CVs goofed up big time here... they could have shown the above and then there would have been a little justification

Anvesha comes out as a self-centered and arrogant girl... She has a lot of influence of her bhabhi NT i guess... She's self-centered and justifying his actions to her will only add to her pompous brains and she would despise Geet all the more when she would be commanding more of Maan's attention! Oh I hate this logically illogical track! Why couldn't they give more attention to other characters already in the show like they did when GC was away...

I totally agree with you. But, now that they chose to go down this path, we can not undo it and must now learn to live with it.

Personally I would have liked it if this little sister's arrogance and disaproval of the girl his brother was to marry would have been more out of her concern for him... As she knew wat went wrong in the past with her bro so she wouldn't want her bro to go through the same again and so she was being aprehensive about Maan's to-be-bride... So she would be cynical in the beginning and slowly realize how she had been wrong... they can still move it this way to save some grace i guess

I share the same sentiments. I hope that they turn this story to make her see "Geet" through Maan's eyes (as Nandu puts it) and then become supportive of her.
