I'm sure Maan will not tolerate anybody insulting Geet even if it's his dear sis!

As far as his reaction as loving bro, I don't get why people are so anti-bro feeling. I understand that introduction of sis is a bolt from blue, but I guess that's to cope DD-absence crisis. Otherwise what's wrong if Maan loves his sister! Sisters always have a special place in their brother's heart.

I think it's more to do with the girl who's enacting the role of the sis, everybody seems to be having a vendetta against her! Since I have no clue about her so no comments!

The part where Maan supported his sister was in precap. It looks like it got edited out in today's episode. I am glad it is not there.

She is still very shy to admit to the world what she is to Maan.... and Maan wants to change that...hence he will do masti again.

This is what I am looking forward to...lets see what happens.

I think so many people are upset because they truly love Maan and Geet very much and would not like to see the CV's compromise their characters just to make place for a new entry. I think the anger is really towards the CV's not Maan and most of all this new Nikunj / Anvesha character has made everyone so mad that we cannot think clearly

Totally agree with your POV. Maan should remain Maan. I am OK if he becomes a bit naughty in appearing to support his sister, but at the core he is for Geet and Geet only.

Anvesha probably did not like Sameera but Maan still went ahead with her. That time, Maan must have been an adorable older brother. I don't know what Sameera did, but whatever she did, Maan became a recluse and stopped loving his sister. Instead, he just sent her gifts to show he still cared. Anvesha is already disliking the girl he is to marry even before meeting her. She probably thinks her brother is going to suffer again and become the same old recluse if this new chick happens to hurt him again. And so, she does not approve his relation with Geet even before she knows who it is.

Dol, I can always trust you to bring some new insights, and never thought before ideas. What a reasoning about Sameera's episode in Maan's life having an impact on Annie's thinking. It is a good possibility. It is so true that Miss Annie comes with a predisposed mind to not like Geet. It would be interesting to see how this turns out.

I know there are lot of could haves and should haves that come to our mind whenever we watch Maaneet, but unfortunately, we are always bound by the vision presented to us by CVs and have to live with what is already shown. They can't change that, but hopefully they will incorporate our feedback into what is yet to come.

Logic has returned today big time, and for now, all fears are put to rest.
