I have a dumb question - are there repeat telecasts of DMG or MJHT?
I ask because I feel Star One is hugely sidelined as far as advertising, and partaking in any of the regular soap socials.
DMG was a pioneer I feel in this type of romance. Not much drama, just enough to keep it going (No, I don't mean it's last year or the last season - that was very un DMG like, regardless of what group you cheered). The romance was ... very much what the youth could relate to. It had the right amount of pull and push, the cat and mouse games, and then it high lighted the camaraderie b/w the guys, the comfort level among the girls, and their dynamics. Very unique, fresh, and awesome dialogues. Yet, I don't know why it was never selected for awards or included in any of the celebrations.
Now, MJHT went the same route. Very unique in keeping to it's core - college life and the masti. It took a few serious turns, but ALWAYS came back to the fun loving light banter full college life. I don't know why this was never show cased, and promoted on any other star plus show.
And then Geet - their love story is unique due to the setting, the beginning of the show. And then we have the fan base of each, or both, of the leads ... and I dunno why it's now promoted anywhere else.
BUT - I think one of the best ways to promote Star One shows is by doing repeat telecasts ... which brings me back to my question - are there repeat telecasts for DMG, MJHT? I'm just curious coz one, if not both, were chart toppers for a while and both have huge fan followings. And just like Geet, had a fresh way of showing romance.
It's talent going to waste in my opinion. I can't believe the Star One shows, and the actors (which I might add are very very talented, and I find better than most non-Star One actors) are not show cased and their skills not used for bringing in TRPs ... Truly sad.
