GEET had stopped being in the TOP 100 shows for the week from 31/10/2010 to 06/11/2010 and TRPs are likely to be in the range of 0.6 though it is still the No. 1 show on Star One.

Can you just think why the channel is NOT AIRING any new promos from last 2 weeks
Timing
11:00 PM to 11:30 PM to being removed from that slot from November 22nd
And as to why the 11:00 PM slot is shifted to 11:30 and now from NOV 22nd, that slot is being axed too to make way for the repeat of PKEK!!
I also do not understand one more thing, since most young viewers WATCH repeats at 11 PM/11:30 PM slot too and some of them as their mums are watching Yeh Rishta, ONLY watch at 11:00 PM or 11: 30 PM. Most of them are students [with half of them at least medical students] and working professionals for whom it is tough to be back from work and sit before the TV, so why is the CHANNEL "apne pairon pey khud khulhadi maar rahein hain" when they know that GEET HSP is their NO. 1 show by totally getting rid of the 11:30 PM slot and airing some other show?

And Creatives and the GEET DEV TEAM forget that their audience do not want ronadhona and reality and that they want fantasy, harmony, and beauty. Good triumphs over evil needs to be reiterated often times as we see enough of evil triumphing in the world, in real life. So why would we wanna see evil triumph always even in reel life.
We get enough of unhappiness and disharmony in our daily lives, why do we need to watch a serial and lose our sleep and weekends just because the CVs are getting some pleasure out of viewers' angst.
It's high time the GEET DEV team and PHs (both Endemol and 4 Lions) as well as Channel realize where they are going wrong and what needs to be done to retain GHSP's numero uno position.
User studies and TRPs prove that viewers are tired of MAANEET separation drama and that their highest TRP episodes are of the romance of MAANEET or of proper story lines and logical plots or sensible tracks..
If we wanted to watch ronadhona and misunderstandings all the time and that it is impossible for 2 people to have a healthy relationship, we can as well watch documentary films or read the daily newspapers or watch News channels, why watch some soap?
Those days of Saas-Bahu sagas is long gone, the audience are younger and more volatile and make instantaneous choice and live under high stress levels.
Viewers watch SOAPS for ENTERTAINMENT and as a STRESS BUSTER and NOT to be RUBBED in the FACTS that LIFE IS A B*TCH and that LIVING is NEXT TO PARTICIPATING in a BLOOD GAME of GORE, VIOLENCE, and ANGST.
So give them something to feel happy about and sleep with a smile on their face rather than keep rubbing into them that life is a mess.

A romantic/well crafted episode of GEET garners on top of 10000- 15000 views
An average episode of GEET garners on top of 7000-10000 views
A bad episode of GEET garners somewhere around the region of 4000-6000 views
On STAR PLAYER alone which is the official ONLINE site of the CHANNEL.
But the videos of TODAY's episode are uploaded here after 3 PM the next day so they are missing out some figures to unofficial uploaders.
Secondly, had they uploaded it by 12 midnight they could have garnered more online viewership figures. But they are NOT doing so!!!
Or how about porting content through subscribed channel at the same time as the episode airs in India or within half-an-hour of the episode airing?

We fans have also suggested how the Channel and PH can increase their brand positioning and market positioning through GEET MERCHANDISE.
This will enable them to create a market awareness for their serial through the sale of GEET MERCHANDISE but they seem to not understand the logic behind our thinking nor seem to appreciate our efforts in trying to help the Channel or PH.
The Current LOYAL CUSTOMER BASE/FAN BASE is their biggest marketing team -- USE IT!!! There are some Marketing Wizs, and Brand Positioning Experts, Strategic Consultants among the Customer Base and they can help be your virtual and extended marketing team or expert team of consultants. Come on - USE THEM and THEIR ABILITIES to LEVERAGE your PRODUCT.
- WE LOVE GEET HSP and the team that is why we are expressing our opinion so that we can get this show to be a PIONEERING SHOW setting trends and breaking boundaries. This is not criticism but only angst at seeing a quality product not garner the market it deserves and losing it due to gaffes.

1. Petition the CHANNEL to AIR PROMOS and to BRING BACK the REPEAT TELECASTS at the 11:00 PM slot
2. Petition the PRODUCTION HOUSE to MAKE SPECIAL PROMOS like before that were classy and brilliant works of art
3. Petition IF to write more articles on TELLY BUZZ
4. WRITE articles in any ONLINE MAGAZINES and WEBSITES
5. Send mailers to the features editors of the NEWSPAPERS/ENTERTAINMENT MAGAZINES to increase the PRINT COVERAGE
6. Write to SBS, SBB, E24 to increase the coverage
7. Hit the CHASKAMETER of GEET on a daily basis on IF
8. Comment on DD and GC's profile and try to bring their ranking up to No. 1 and No. 2
9. If you watch episodes online, hit the LIKE BUTTON and also RATING alongside it wherever you are watching without FAIL.
10. Make as many VMs, Siggies.
11. Start your OWN GEET HSP BLOGS in the online space with either BLOGOSPHERE, BLOGSPOT, WORDPRESS or any of the FREE BLOG HOSTING SITES.
12. Use TWITTER and FACEBOOK to push your IF articles and BLOG POSTS
