And bring in new audience to the show as well as cultivate new audience.

Absolutely, the show has not even turned a year old and people have started talking about leaving the show with over expectations as well as the fact that competition is on the rise from other channels targeting the same segment of audience.

Yes Facebook and Twitter are gr8 places that GEET HSP has adopted and other entrants are following in their footsteps, but that does not mean we have to be complacent or that we are gonna gain in TRPs, but those being great channels of 2-way communication, we are on the right road in creating buzz and news.

If you see the article, it is about what we as audience could do to change the perception among fans of other shows, cultivating new audience, bringing in new audience and other measures that we are exploring and also the statistics that we need to look at.

Our effort is ONLY to showcase the show and bring in new viewers and retain the existing ones.

Any factor that can build or keep viewers glued in to GEET HSP are worth exploring.

I was really very unhappy and angry after observing the trp posted in Indiantelevision.com.

This is very sad that people of India like more Saas bohu drama and fake jewelery, saree that they wear in their bed room which I find really ridiculous.

But I am sorry as I cant contribute for TRP as I live outside India.

@wolum: Exactly, such a show comes once in a while and is like good coffee. I just hope that Nielsen, TAM etc., take Internet viewership into consideration and I pray that all online viewers start to petition these organizations for implementing those measures.

Also, in case, you have some friends or family in India, do encourage them to view GEET HSP at the 9:30 PM slot—thank you.

Can anybody tell me how they count trp points? Do they go to the house of every people of India and ask them personally that which show do they watch or there is some other way of observing this trp?

Yeah...it's really sad about the TRPs. But we can't help it...I love GeetHSP! If it was in my hands, it will have been the serial with highest TRPs all across India!
