hmm, so Maan thinks of the Taweez break as a release and a break of their bond
MAan thinks of himself as a pain in Geet's life.
Maan has always stood for removing all problems and obstacles from her path-knowing or unknowingly.
Today- he feels he has become a source of her pain- and so- he is willing to let go.
The love he feels for her makes him lose all control over himself.
the pavitrata of their love he was talking about during water-chi has been brought to this..he said yesterday...
So to restore back..to prevent further pain- he is letting her go.
Again- taking a decision for HUM- which came back yesterday.
Where is the EGO in that?
HE has come down from his high and mighty opinion- said he has fallen in his own eyes
The best thing for her would be to stay away from him.
Here- he is making a decision for her..not for himself...
BUT GEEt takes it back- She takes back the authority and the right to decide for herself!She doesn't WANT to be released from him..HE can't decide what's right for her- it's her decision..her choice- isn't that what self-respect is?
She won't let anyone make decisions for her...

Hmm..So this is what he's done-

He thinks the answer to all problems would be her going away from him.

Symbolism- Well obviously- you just don't give 2 blocks of ice for a guy to break.
Maan's fire- of anger- at himself, his passion- for Geet- the fire he feels in his love is ready to consume him...but that fire- HELPS him BREAK the ICe- the coldness that is settling in their bond...freezing it..
THAT fire of his love will break through the ICE..
Might break both their hearts- but he's doing it for HUM. Not for himself.
The icy coldness that had been created around Maan's heart has been broken by the fire blazing in him.
It might break their hearts- out of that passion- he has broken two hearts- his own as well as Geet's
When he breaks the other slab- his hand bleeds.
Geet's heart break pains him more- it seems 😳
OR
With the two slabs of ice- 1 slab he breaks is the coldness around his heart.
With the other- he breaks his own heart- and it bleeds...

Blood had bonded them before- HP ,office
When one bleeds, both do- when one feels pain- both do.
Their relation is far stronger than any slab of ice that can be broken.

As if its so easy to do.. as if they were tied by a string..as if their hearts are not united..or their souls by destiny...as if it's so easy to take such a momentous decision without asking her
HEarts in their eyes- broken pieces of their hearts- maan waiting for a reaction, geet thinking of how to reply
Just observe the crumbling expression of maan..and the strong determination of Geet
she will fight for HUM now👏

Maan -Geet, tumhe azaadi chahiye and she moves towards him..
And is stopped by a broken piece of his heart...
Stumbles- foot bleeds
How can she move forward when he's hurting? when his pain and hers are the same?
And she looked at me with that piercing gaze,
she looked right through the soul of my soul,
she read me- she saw my love,
she saw each drop of pain, each drop of hurt
she drank it all in- that touch that connected us,
she smiled a very tiny smile at the thought I didn't love her
my gentle fool- did she think I didn't care?
my only love- did she know what being with me would do to her?
He touched me after saying he's let me go,
how could he let me go? how did he assume so much?
I will never be free of him- wherever I go,
whenever I stumble, he's there for support,
forgetting that it's his heart that's hurt me,
forgetting that it's his pain that's made me bleed
my gentle fool- I can see through the charade,
my only love- Did he ever know I would never let him go?
This scene was also symbolic of Maan forgetting all his pain whenever, the moment Geet gets hurt.
This is what happened with the slap scene too- he has forgotten his hurt ..remembers more that he hurt her.
MAan is weak..he can't take any more pain..more than that- he can't give so much of pain.
HE thinks all that he has given HUM is Pain...
"kya faayeda itna dard sehne ka..kabhi na kabhi toh sehne ki seema tootegi na?"
Geet challenges him- as if to say that's it- you're giving up? Is that all you can bear?
She loves him enough to not give up on "HUM" and this time- she will work for hum.
In the following scene- I saw Geet's deewangi.
The need to keep Maan with her- she WANTS him and she tells him that too
The point wasn't that- she answers his question- as if to ease him of that pain- It obviously matters to her- that wasn't the point...the point was that she can live without him...
she clearly distinguishes WANT and NEED
she WANTS him..but doesn't NEED him

see the way she shakes her head...😳
She plays on his ego next..waah GO GEET!
she plays on his ego to stoke him up again..to accept the challenge.
She won't let him give up...himself, his ego, for her.
She will not let him also walk away from HUM
His ego is an important part of HUM...his abhimaan that makes him fight for geet unconsciously- yes there's a problem there- but she will be there with him when they solve it- together.
She won't let him go. and she won't allow him to walk away as well.
So she plays him..LOL..Brilliant move Geet!!
She's won.
Geet is giving him STRENGTH , his EGO, his Self-esteem back.
She makes him remember who he is. She for the first time is fighting for HUM.
Without his help.
That is her jeet. That is her victory! That dialogue- he has helped her knowing-unknowningly to live on her own.
She is fighting now..fighting for "HUM"
and that is what is the Reversal- being seen since yday- of Geet saying chup, etc etc

I hope it's good lighthearted comedy if shown..

DD- brilliant!!! I loved u so so much for showing that firm determination and the deewangi in Geet's eyes for Maan👏 11/10

I didn't notice much of the technical today..so won't comment about that.
