first i have to say, hats off to the cv's. they handled the revelation part very very well.

second, it would not have been so good without GC and DD, they were so within their characters, with all that which they said and left unspoken.

now on to analysis/ my thoughts on the ep:

at the end of this episode, all that which came to my mind was this line from Ghulam Ali's ghazal: itna toota hoon, chune se bikhar jaaonga.....

god, maan's expression when he figured out the fact that it was Dev and then when Dev admitted that it was him who did this, his eyes with all the anger that they show, all i could see was his pain........

yes, we all are very happy that he is stading behind Geet, will support Geet, will stand for justice. i really applaud for him but God, my heart just goes out to him so much, for a man who always stands for the truth, to go into denial about a truth............that its so shocking that he cannot believe it be truth. I dont see this as a reflection on the fact that he does not believe Geet but as a fact that he is so hurt, so in pain, that even he, the ultimate believer in truth, is blataly trying to deny this.

when he smashes his hand on the candle, god, i dont think he even registers that in face of what his brother told him.

aside from this, i know Maan will take steps towards getting justice for Geet, but what is puzzling me and making me very nervous is the fact that the possibility that Geet will work for Yash is very strong. I am really worried about what happens between now and then, what causes her to do that. I know, i know, she promised but i am worried about how Maan allows this, what happens? i hope that is just a paranoia on my part, i really dont want it to be a bad twist in the story which causes that to happen.

Loved today's episode, CVs, DD, GC all were superb 👏👏👏

So it started off with Geet's dream sequence - help me out guys I'm confused about the candle symbolism here because of what happens later. Initially, I thought the candle represented maaneet and their love. The candle flickering nearly going out represented the effect of truth/Dev on their relationship but by staying together they would prevent this from affecting their relationship and it would be as strong as ever.

But then as all know later Maan puts the candle out so this symbolism must be wrong, as Maan is gonna stand by Geet so it can't symbolise what i wrote above. My other take is that the candle was to symbolise Maan's happiness as once the truth is out he is shattered. Can the candle symbolise two things, i don't know. Maybe you guys have a better explanation.

I love how Maan even after seeing how Geet is trying to show her feelings for him, has decorated the place etc does not get taken away by all this and sticks to the reason he came there, to find the truth. That's where Maan is unique from other hero's in other dramas. All he cares about is knowing what took place, what is this unknown truth that is coming between him and Geet. He knows something is up, he knows her actions, eyes, everything is screaming to him, there is something not right here and doesn't give up til he knows.

He even says it was his fault for not being there when she needed him 😲 but he was in hospital what could he do, all the men in the world must hate MSK now 😆I love how he comforts and reassures her and tells her he will there no matter what he will be there by her side and that she is happiness 😍

At first i saw annoyed to see NT but then this scene made me laugh as Dev is finally wised upto NT's games. I love NT is going in her head, Dev is such an idiot but Dev is like your the biggest pain in my life. What a jodi! 😆 NT follows him like an idiot to see Daadi 😆 I think Dev is learnt some tricks from NT and whilst NT has learnt to be idiot from Dev 😆

Finally Maan connects the dots with a bit of help from Geet 👏 Great acting from both here

And dev comes and finally speaks the truth.

The punch 👏👏👏 😃😃😃😃 I have been waiting for so long for this day.

Maan vowing to get Geet justice, no matter what 😃😃😃

First , I would like to thank everyone who actively contribute to this thread. I don't get a chance to reply to your thoughts but, I have been a active reader of this thread.

Each one of you give a good insight into the story and characters that you come up with some unique perspective and I love reading your thoughts.

I don't get a chance reply due to time constraints and another reason , that I am afraid I will get more addicted to this thread and the forum.

I have been thinking of replying in this thread for a long time ..I am home early today so, am able to finish off my daily chores early ..so, here I go spending my free time ..

Good episode..
I liked how Maan figured it was Dev through his flashbacks...You can tell he believed Geet, but was in such a shock that he had to tell her that Dev can't do this...(my two cents on that)!
And as always I love GC's & DD's expressions!
I'm really enjoying the pace of this show, if it was any other drama, then I think we would see the story stretched to Friday, and in the midst, have loud bg music, with a bunch of zoom in's and zoom out's that will make your head spin!

Back..
This show has gotten a little complicated now that Dev wants to become good. Naintara has always been bad- it's constant for her. It's a fine line I think with Dev. He deserves to be punished, no doubt. I don't think he should "get off that easily", what he did was VERY wrong, but he does want to repent so he should definitely get a chance to repent.
So having said that, after much contemplation, I think he should get a second chance, but only and only after his harsh punishment!!! Dev wants to repent, but Naintara, she's far from even the thought of repenting! So as for Naintara ..hmmm it's tough.. rotting in jail w/ the whole chakki peesna thing or getting eaten by a mob of crocodiles? 😆

she wants to make the best of the moments she has with him before she breaks the truth to him.. and what they showed was just an extent of her wishes .. she dreams of being with him ....

but when she walks upto him, she can replicate only 1/4th of what she had imagined... and he reciprocated 1/4th too ... cos he had other things on his mind at that moment ...

he doesnt mince words when he says, on one hand you are coming close to me, and on the other you want to walk away... tell me whats wrong.. he prefers a life time of togetherness to a momentary happiness... Maan Singh Khurana never disappoints!! you know what he wants and you love him so much, that you exactly start thinking like him beyond a point ...!

he cant see worry or tension written over her face, and he wants to put her at ease.. he says that by reminding her his happiness lies in her happiness alone..

what i loved the most about the guy was, he not only reminds her of how he had supported her blindly earlier, and how he would continue to do so .. he make a promise to ensure that the culprit would get his share of punishment, and with those words you already know it wont deter him now, even if it means its his own brother ...

Geet's hesitation was understandable! but when she says i dont want you to mess up ur relations for my sake, Maan presumed she meant him supporting her despite her past ... and what would happen when other members of his learnt of it ... but never did he imagine even in the wildest of dreams that she meant it was his own brother who did it ...

however he wasted no time i doing the guess work as soon as she said, i did come looking for you that night... it is as though those moments were needed.. and he did need that time to let the thought dig in that it was infact his own brother .. but the instant brotherly instinct said... he is a naughty boy, he is a prankter, he is careless... but he cant be a jerk, a cheater and bigamous freak who abandoned an innocent girl !! forget the fact that it was Geet .. it was just that he couldnt believe his younger brother would do something like that ... and anyone who knew Maan would be equally baffled at the thought that these two could be so different!! so the reaction Maan gave to Geet, saying " Dev aisa nahi kar sakta" came from his disbelief that his brother couldnt do this to any girl...

then when he says Dev tumhare saath aisa nahi kar sakta- he talks of Geet, here it is about how, could someone do this to you and Dev of all the people .. and just when he is gathering himself Dev steps into the scene ... and confirms the same...
he is so consumed by pain that he turns himself ... To Maan his dadi, Dev and Geet mattered the msot, and one of his pillars today just gave away .. he feels weak from inside ... sometimes, the emotional support a romantically involved loved one may provide may not suffice the void that blood related bonds create ... just the way Dev can never hold the importance Geet does in Maan's life, the vice versa is true too!!

all said and done, he had hoped and expected his brother to not do this!! thats why even when he was in debts it was Maan who had eventually cleared the debts off.. thats what older ones do out of love and concern... but how was maan to repair this damage ..

i am proud of the fact that he first hurt himself ( this was for letting him down) .. and then he punched him ( this was for the sin he committed that was unforgivable) and last;y the arrest that will happen will be for Geet where he wont care about the reputation of his family as long as he is siding the truth!!

Maan Singh Khurana you win me over totally!!

As for Geet .. she did look shocked and hurt when he didnt believe her, but i am sure she will be the one consoling him tonight .. after all she was mentally prepared for this .. she knew what importance Dev held in maan's life thats why she walked away on the night of the engagement, and later never told him what he did to her untill maan himself prodded her further ...!!

but what an amazing love story! tonight i feel it will be Geet who would be consoling Maan, and he in turn will turn all protective and caring towards her ...!! ti takes some level of intensity in emotions to deliver this kinda love story!!
