Today's episode was good.
There was episode continuation.
There was scene continuation.
I liked that while the situation itself was dramatic and tense that the CVs and Nissar did not use drama to create the "truth telling", it was done on a more romantic/caring manner and then the intensity and drama comes out after the truth is told.
I don't like that they used the "bread crumbs" method as it is too clich. CVs and Nissar need to keep in mind that they have an international audience and that they need to be as original as possible.
Today's episode although heart wrenching was quite romantic.
Why wasn't Dev's mother and sister not mentioned in today's "whom did it" episode. They deserve punishment as much as NT and Dev do. Wake up Nissar and CVs.
Maan & Geet
For the first time Geet stepped out of her shell to do something very special for the man she loves, for he is her very soul, her world, her life, her everything only to have the moment shattered by a selfish, irresponsible and self indulgent businessman, but we have to hand it to Yash for throwing this curve ball.
If looks could kill Maan's eyes as loving, intimate and provocative as they are, could be responsible for Geet's death. As Maan's anger pierce through his eyes not letting him enjoy the very special moment his love is trying to feed him, the intimate moment because a trying one for both Geet and Maan.
Geet is definitely a vision in her sari and the atmosphere is set for romance but anger has eaten up the moment causing anxiety and pain to creep in as Geet ventures to tell the another utmost painful part of her past that her rapist is none other than her love, her soul, Maan's younger brother Dev.
Maan's initial reaction not wanting to believe his younger brother could do such a horrible crime to another human being, to the love of his life is justified.
Geet being shocked here by Maan's reaction is also justified.
I really felt that Drashti should have expressed a more shock/confused look on Geet's face when Maan asked her "what happened in the past two days that made her leave KC". Besides this Drashti was on point, great acting.
GC was great.
Although Maan's emotions for the situation was little too relaxed; keep in mind he is shocked.
Maan was very caring and concerned about Geet and what she was hiding. He was very supportive and he renewed his vow to stick by her side, the side of truth. Very Maanly.
Geet needed Maan's strength and reassurance before she could tell him what she thinks may destroy him/his happiness. The hug today represents care, protection and love.
Geet did a good thing by explaining to Maan that she wants to protect his happiness and doesn't want to cause any problems in his life, just wants him to be happy. But Maan replies his happiness is Geet herself.
NT & Dev
Got to hand it to NT, she'll stop at nothing to save her own skin.
Karishma was great as always portraying the devil.
The devil can hand out torture but she can't face punishment.
As cruel as what Dev did to Geet and as much of a coward Dev is, NT is bigger on both counts.
NT thought that she had Dev played, but what she didn't count on that Dev has her pegged for her wickedness.
Abhinav was good in today episode via self dialogue, but his emotions were absent. It was blah, blah'. What happened to remorse and tears? When Dev said that he wanted to tell Maan the truth , it was so nonchalant.
NT such an idiot herself thinking that Dev dragging her by the hand to see Dadi via the terrace at that hour, even though she questioned it, she didn't give it much thought.
NT wanted Dev to lose her hands, holding of hands bondage as partners in marriage and partners in crime. Crime out, hello punishment.
Geet, Maan, Dev & NT
Both Maan and Geet were utterly shocked to hear Dev say it is true, what Geet said it true.
Dev, what an idiot; would his crime be any less if the girl's life whom he destroyed didn't turn out to be Maan's life.
Maan's reaction when Dev said that he didn't know that the girl's life that he destroyed would be Maan's love, and life is justified. Maan is going to need some time to digest this bitter truth. Although Maan has heard what Geet said and what Dev admitted to, Maan still needs time to digest the bitter truth.
Maan walking away is not that he is leaving Geet, but he is needing time, time to process all that he has heard.
Geet's anguish to see her Maan in that amount of pain compounded with the punch Maan threw at Dev's face, Geet is terrified, hurt, and above all is concern about Maan's well being.
Maan punching Dev is just the beginning to Dev's punishment.
I think once Maan has had time to process the truth, he will rain terror on Dev and his criminal crew.
What needs to happen'
1. The taveez needs to go back around Maan's neck.
2. Dev's mother and sister need to be mentioned as part of the criminal crew.
3. Maan needs to become the ferocious tiger. Remember his words to NT that if she made Geet cried, he would take revenge for each tear drop. I don't think NT can pay this debt in its' entirety in this lifetime.
4. Maan also needs to make Dev pay for his criminal act. Also Dev's mom and sister needs to be punished.
5. Maan and Geet needs to support each other.
6. Maan still needs to know
i. That NT poisoned Dadi's mind
ii. That Dadi kicked Geet out of the house.
iii. That NT lied to Geet about him not wanting to see her
iv. That NT lied to Geet about the taveez and again Maan not wanting to see her
v. That NT moved him from his original hospital room in order to prevent Geet from seeing
Him and that she stopped Geet at the door of his hospital room from entering to see him.
vi. That Sasha is the reason why the story came out at the office.
7. Maan will have to handle the office situation, but is should be Geet that handles Sasha.
8. Myra needs to come clean about what she knows to both Maan and Geet while revealing her connection with the Khurana.
9. Dadi eventually needs to come to know the truth.
10. Remember Maan has been sacrificing for Geet all this time. In soul mate relations sacrifice has to be made by both sides, so it is Geet's turn, plus taveez is in her hands. It isn't about being a hero, it is about being the perfect soul mate; this what Geet's and Maan's relationship has been portrayed as so far.
Whether viewers/fans want to accept it or not, Geet will always be estranged from Maan within herself to a degree because she is carrying her rapist's child, which happens to be her lover's/soul mate's brother. Yes, I am hinting at running a miscarriage track of Geet's and Dev's baby. BUT'. (will continue later) It has to be the last string NT pulls to cover up her mountain of crimes and it has to be the last string for Geet to explode and stand up for herself full force against NT and Dev by supporting Maan. Remember Geet is Maan's energy and he will need her full force.
11. BUT' there should be a Maan-Geet baby track.
CVs and Nissar, you will be VIRTUALLY DEAD if you'
1. SEPARATE MANNEET, EVEN ON A TEMPORARY BASIS AND TRPs WILL SINK! (CAPS OF EMPHASIS ONLY). There is need for separation of Manneet to move the story forward.
2. If you have Geet misunderstand Mann that he was a part of the Dev and criminal crew scam/Dev rape. Mann saved Geet twice putting his own life in danger and that's just two times out of a zillion that he has helped her. It would be really stupid for this to happen.
