Chapter 3

Melbourne 27^th July 8.30am

It had been about 3 weeks now since Maan was following his new found routine of visiting the coffee shop in the morning (before work) , sitting at his favorite spot beside the mirror and observing her '..then working the whole day '.and then in the evening watch her leave for home from his office window or just follow her to a distance .Today was not going to be any different as he was just making his way into the coffee shop

Maan took his coffee and went to his favorite spot to have a look at her

Raji- Di I think u have an admirer'roz aaake he keeps looking at u thru the mirror

Geet ' Pata hai mujhe Raji

Raji ' How '..tum to use nahin dekh sakti

Geet ' U know what when u cant see thru yr eyes 'u begin to see thru yr heart '..hmmm let me tell u he is like arnd 6ft tall, black eyes , well built '.sort of attractive guy .

Raji- hmmm not bad di 'par aapke iss admirer ko thoda janana to padhega and I just know what I have to do

It was raining outside and he was waiting at his office window as usual....... for her to arrive and head for home '..his patience was beginning to get the better of him when his fone rang 'it was Rohan , he picked it up and started to talk and that's when she chose to arrive 'there she was with her hands outstretched to feel the rain drops ''splashing a few rain drops here and there she seemed to enjoy herself ..totally oblivious to her surroundings'..so much was he lost in seeing her play with the rain 'that he forgot he was talking to Rohan and only when a shrill call of his name came from the other end did he break out of his trance

Maan- Sorry 'ya I am very much there 'haan bas nikal raha hoon '..How can I forget Bhabhi's bday yaar '.aa rahaa hoon'n guess what I just today got my new car so will be there in 20 mins

Once done with the call Maan got hold of his stuff and headed out towards the car Park

Maan was to drive in the same direction as that of her house 'she couldn't have reached home so fast he thought 'and decided to keep a look out for her .

He had driven almost have way to her house when his search came to an end there she was still feeling the rain now and again as she continued to walk towards her destination ..he involuntarily parked his car on the side and started to watch her 'completely mesmerized by the sight before his eyes '..enchanted and in complete awe of her innocence .......his trance ritely broken by the shrill ring of his cell fone

Maan saw Rohan's number flash'Jesus'.aaj to main gayaa' '.he quickly started the car and sped of towards Rohan's house

Melbourne 27^th July 9pm

The Party at Rohan's house was a neat affair and after ages Maan found himself enjoying an event '..In the last 7 months either he wud avoid such social gatherings or wud end up finding himself totally out of place if he attended one '.but today it was a different experience '..cause he was at ease with the surroundings '..and he seemed like one of the crowd ..and not an alien'were things really changing as far as he was concerned 'or was this just a brief breather in his suffocating life '.

It was raining really hard by the time Maan reached his apartment that night '.but despite it being close to midnight he still made his way to his favourite spot 'the French windows 'and began to observe the rain outside '.but all he saw was her image playing with those water droplets ''..

After the rain

Comes the Sunshine

And even in the darkest of nights

The stars are there to shine
