2010 shows that have made a mark

In 2010, there were major changes in Indian television. The formatting changed, story line changed and there was a flood of fresh faces. There were shows that highlighted several social issues and then on the other hand you had reality shows. We take a look at shows grabbed eyeballs.

Geet Hui Sabse Parayi

It's a story of Geet who fights for justice. There is a transition from a simple, shy girl from small town to strong and confident girl who is fighting 'society' alone. The concept is innovative as it highlights the social evil of jilted marriages which are widely taken place in Punjab and adjoining areas. The fans have loved the cute and innocent jodi of Maan-Geet and it's a tough competition to other jodis.
