I want Star One to make up for the editing mistakes by airing a special episode with UNCUT scenes of the entire confession sequence even if it takes 1 or 2 hrs. They owe it to us audience after we gave them such high TRPs.

The morality police & Star One really need to watch this show from the beginning everything including all the HP scenes then maybe they can appreciate wat it is they are destroying wit their uncreative manipulations.

One question arises.. for the Channels who are TRP hungry

do the channels really get real TRPS values..if i am right..it is determined based on the number of TV sets tuned into particular channel at particular time slots...

do the channels know.that there is an invention called the DVR? in india you have tata sky Plus..and others.. so my family which records Geet and watches it later in the night or half hour later or next day as there are two serials that demand attention of two different people in the family. we are a family of 5 and have two tv sets and people like my sister in law and i do not watch it at the regular time but later and i may be one part of the statistics..but..here when the exceptions become the norm..would the statistics be accurate?

there are many like us who do no watch it at 9:30 but watch the repeats, these are the people working falling within the demographic of the target audience as they
1. may not be home and dont have a DVR
2. feel rushed for dinner and take the leisurely route
is the data collated accordingly?
do they get info about the recorded shows and the number of times it might be watched?

what are harping about..TRP is but a guideline..not the god of running shows on TV
it is always content and i mean quality content that will drive the viewership. It is always the case of not regarding the customer with intelligence that leads to downfall of any company....

Star One so try to live up to your name by being number one channel in India for all not just for TRP's.!

I just started watching this show because of Geet trailer you showed before it started. I am not from India, I live in US but I adore Geet. I saw this promo in my friend's house liked it so much that I bought the Star cable just to watch this show. I do not watch any other soap. The point I am making is Geet has become part of our lives wherever we come from or wherever we live! We loved it because it is first of its kind in terms of story and reality. Nissar is trying to create an Epic so please do not try to spoil it by your greed!

We the fans of Geet love this and we are not immature fans who just want to see romance and sex. Hope you read our bashing last week for all male stripping scene you forced Nissar to put. How can you? Someone running such a prestigious organization have such disgraceful ideas?

Remember here Nissar is bringing social issue to public and he is trying to help the society by creating awareness on fake marriage industry in India. I posted this long time in FB, hope you mind reading it.

Result of which the victims still wonder pillar to post for justice. We need to create awareness among girls about NRI Marriages. My heart really cried out for them and that is why I get myself involved in this series and try to do the contribute in making this series a Masterpiece so that the message that 4 Lions, Star One and Nissar and Co. wanted to put forward to the people of India and Asians can be delivered and action been taken against it. "

So Mr. Mirchandani now you understand the seriousness of the issue and understand what Nissar is doing. Nissar is just brilliant and above all very humane. Someone is trying give a real life drama in Hindi soap.. so you can't digest it? Maybe a new thing for you and for your Ekta types drama…

Do not try to be over smart, get involve in what you know only…Direction is not your cup of tea so let Nissar do what he does the best! We want to see what he produces not the crap you want to show!. Why are you in the mad rush we want it to happen in normal pace and real pace.

Another thing don't make brilliant actor like Gurmeet a male stripper…he can bring higher loyalties of his fans by his acting skills not his abs. Gurmeet, Dhrasti ,Nissar, Mr. Barry Dhillon & team are working so hard so why do not you understand. So please understand and make other thicker heads in your team to understand the same.

One suggestion- Instead of meddling in Geet's business why don't you go out and fight with all those hypocrites who want to censor some scenes. It is 21^st century and coming from a country where "Kamasutra " originated which taught the world lessons on relationship and sex what is harm just to portray few bold scenes??

So STAY OUT OF "GEET"s editing and LET NISSAR TAKE THE LEAD!😡

By the time I pen this down, I'm sure you've heard the growing uproar in the Geet HSP fan club – the furor, anger and indignation that YOU have been behind the irrational and irresponsible editing of critical scenes that has been going on.

Outside of your TRPs and revenue structure, let me familiarize you with what Geet HSP is about. It is about using the medium of TV –

- to draw people's (your viewers) attention to major, current social issues that have far flung repercussions – issues such as fake NRI marriages, rape of innocent girls, fraud, honor killings and fetal infanticide.

- to mentor them on how to react to situations through your story

- to create role models in society … someone a common man/woman/child can look upto

The Production House, Director, CVs, Actors, and support staff are doing an excellent job portraying this through a mature, romantic story… a perfect way to reach out to the audience with a story they can relate to.

You cannot achieve these objectives successfully if you develop tunnel vision and only focus on tangibles like TRPs and profit margin. You must also consider the intangibles, specifically the impact you may have on people's lives … to make it better through knowledge.

Please do not underestimate or belittle the collective intelligence of your viewers. Do not turn in Mr Scrooge or any other villains of his type by resorting to drastic, unintelligent editing. Do not ridicule the hard work of the Director, CVs and Actors by resorting to irresponsible editing

During the Truth revelation by Geet, it was extremely critical for us to understand and see the self-analysis by the main characters of the story to ensure its consistency and continuity. Maan Singh Khurana, has been evolving into a strong character that I'm sure not just the ordinary viewer but even you can try to emulate. Geet is evolving from a shy country girl into a formidable, courageous, self righteous, woman who did not cower down to the whims of society to do what she feels is right. She is ably molded by Maan.

To convey this BOLD story effectively, we, your viewers, demand BOLD scenes like the romance between Maan and Geet.

If you can show sleazy scenes like adultery, abuse, avarice and other vices, why don't you have the courage to show what is right between a man and woman who are bound to each other heart and soul ?

How can you bow down to politicos and so called Mahila Mukti impersonators who are nothing but attention seekers ? Why are these entities after fictional characters? Why can't they make a positive difference in a real person's life ?

How can you insult your own common sense and resort to irresponsible editing or diluting of scenes for the sake of your own or entities (like above) special interests?

Don't you value the hard work put in by individuals who bring it to our TV screens?

With Geet HSP, currently your only top ranking show, you, Star Channel have a golden opportunity to do what is right. Give the brains behind this show the freedom to do the right thing. They are more than capable to turning out a spectacular product that will help drive up your TRPs and profit margin.

Opportunity comes knocking only once….don't lose it ! Geet HSP has the potential to become of the most socially conscious, outstanding, shows of its time. Give it a chance to grow.
