Hi Geetians,

Some good news.... Our campaign of last few days on editing issues has got a fabulous response from fans on IF as well as FB and we feel that the channel and the PH might have taken it into consideration.

Please resist sending mailers to anyone from Star One or PH for the time being. Let us all watch the episodes for the rest of the week. If still the episode are not up to the mark then we can decide on our POA. Till then the campaign is on hold.

The editing today was atrocious and after some investigation, I learnt that the Channel not PH has been scene snipping to improve TRPs. Not just today's scenes but, other ones may have been edited. Like Maan's full reaction to Geet's truth (on the cliff, etc.), MSK's self reflection on the way to the station, and even a scene of Maaneet driving home from the station. Even more scary - going forward, the Channel's thinking to edit Roop Tera Mastana sequence to please some political/women's groups, just as they did with DMG scenes recently.

Nissar is a brilliant director. His vision in creating Geet is impeccable and only he can want to bring out the essence of the story. Likewise, Guru is MSK. He works hard breathing essence into the character (be it Maan chi, eating chilies, or working while ill with malaria). It is a shame that their efforts are getting compromised by the Channel. The Channel should appreciate the efforts of the entire Geet team not attack their biggest asset (GEET HSP) with Garden Sheers.

Obviously this Channel does not understand the story or characters. Nor what we want to see. They only understand TRPs. But, if the audience does not grasp Nissar's complete vision and we do not see the authentic MSK and his Geet, the TRPs will disappear. Who will watch if the plot of the show has no logic? It's insulting to all viewers that the Channel thinks we are oblivious to the disconnect they are creating and will be content with candyfloss romance and barring of body not soul. We are not that stupid are we ladies? We love the romance, but we also love the story. We love Geet's strength. We respect her dignity. She is an inspiration to us all. And it's MSK's spirit and strength of character we adore more then his body.

What's done is past, but the Channel going forward needs to stop Editing. The "Roop tere Mastana" sequence should also not be compromised to please any political/social groups just because Maaneet are not officially married. Where were these groups when Geet's innocence was stolen by Dev? Was that appropriate? But now if she does any romance with her REAL fiance it's a problem? Maan has proved to be Geet's husband in many ways without actually being married. Everything that he does for her, a husband would do for his wife. Remember it is how a person views their relationship with their mind and soul that matters, not what society labels our relationship to be. Geet has accepted Maan with her mind and soul. Their physical marriage is more a symbolic union of souls than just going to a court and signing a marriage certificate for the sake of society. "Union of souls", now doesn't that sound beautiful?! If you don't get what I am saying then go buy or rent Parineeta!

Does anyone who appreciates GEET HSP want the "Roop tera mastana" sequence to be edited to satisfy these political/social groups? NO! We the fans, who actually watch the show, want to see the entire sequence as it is! The world has changed; we no longer live in the dark ages. Our views are more tolerant now. We can handle whatever it is they have created. Right?! So, this is is a request to Starone to stop interfering with the editing of the show. The Geet team knows how to do their job and they know exactly what the viewers want. How about giving them some creative liberty? I understand that the show is on their channel and they have certain rights, does that mean they can ruin or show with nonsense? No. Instead they should allow the Geet team to deliver what the viewers want. And in case they are confused about what that is:

1. We want both logic and romance.

2. We do not want the channel editing scenes out.

3. We want to see Maan and Geet having matured conversations.

4. We want the story and characters to stay consistent.

5. We want important scenes to stay in the episodes. For example, character reflections.

6. Geet team knows how to do their jobs; now let them do it their way

UPDATE: The "Roop tere mastana" sequence was heavily edited. That is why so many viewers were left confused as to what really happened in that scene. We didn't get to see the entire thing. They are giving into the demands of the social/political groups! Please contact the Channel ASAP if you don't want the same happen again in the future with other scenes.

20 Reasons for Why BOLD Maneet Passionate Romance should be shown!

1 - Pretty Obvious...its our Demand!

2 - Passsion is a powerful emotion, referring to ardent love; Maneet are in that phase of their relationship where passion is needed! So show it!

3 - My personal belief is that Maneet's Romance can obliterate any couple on TV which is termed as "HAWT"

4 - TRPs will skyrocket!

5 - Maneet changed our Shareef Status to NON Shareef status - so GIVE US WHAT WE WANT!

6 - The BOLDER the better, we are a very open minded audience!

7 - Show us some real romance for once, we don't want to watch Maneet and think it has a PG rating!

8 - I doubt Geet is watched by 10 year olds therefore no giving us blurred scenes or cutting them off completely! It isn't Cartoon Network!

9 - We don't wanna see PuppyDog Lovin'! Its on every other channel, show us something different, something more intimate and realistic!

10 - Maneet are already balanced with their emotional bond, all thats missing is the Physical bonding...do you see where I'm going with this?

11 - Maneet are mesmerizing, we want them to captivate us audience once again with their romance!

12 - Maneet can create magic that I have never seen another couple on TV create...so what are you waiting for? Show us Maneet Magic!

13 - Don't think about Maneetians taking offence, we love seeing Maneet with logical romance and this is it!

14 - Quote: "My soul yearns for you every moment of every day." Remind you of Maneet yet?

15 - Maneet are in Manali, its winter, you can get cold & need to maintain your body temperature! Even nature is telling Maneet to get together, so why fight it?

16 - Maneet are alone together...it'll inevitably lead to more conversation, sharing and intimacy. Being holed up with someone for long periods of time is a natural catalyst to getting close on a deeper level!

17 - Maneet will submit themselves to each other later on anyway, so why not show us an sensous intimate start?

18 - Want Maneet's Fanbase to get bigger? Well I dunno if you got a clue yet...oh wait its in the title!

19 - Shakespeare once said "Be not afraid of Greatness." Well why not take a cue from the Greatest writer in English language?

20 - Read all 19 above and GIVE US WHAT WE WANT! Maneet going all out, bold romance, without cuts or poor editing!

Now coming to the channels recent mishaps; editing out great, logical Maneet scenes! Well I hope your willing to put up with the destruction that will cause not only in terms of the TRPs but also the fans faith in the channel (not the Geet CVs, they have been more than wonderful to us fans) I blame the channel & its stupidty!

In the Gadha Game of TRPs please do NOT ruin GUSP! This show is one of the best that Star One has produced so far, editing out logic, rushing scenes, competiting is going to devour GHSP! Look at what's happened to other Star One shows that havent managed to gain TRPs due to the exact reason: Gadha TRPs Game! Learn from your past mistakes and stop trying to butcher Geet's logical aspect in your bid to get TRPs!

Geet was always fast paced but it was constant & made sense, it moved fast but at a good pace in a good way! The pace of Geet's journey in HP all the way to Geet moving to Delhi was really refreshing than seeing the usual drag fest in other shows. It was intriguing & exciting to watch! That is the sole reason why I have stuck to GHSP like glue till now because it didn't disappoint me nor bored me! But now seeing my favourite couple being rushed in scenes and cutting out scenes, which us audience could link back to the characters feelings & situations is not justifiable! You must not destroy Geet! I think this is the only show on Star One which is doing well meaning that you should cherish it like no other, be extra careful with how you edit it & not just chop and drop scenes! Those are the signs of a simpleton!

Believe it or not, we the audience do have braisn which we use to make sense of the story in Geet but when loads of links are missing between the character (SCENES BEING CUT OFF...moving forward without any connection) then it makes it hard for us to relate back to the characters or understand their feelings or even the storyline! You simply cannot cut out good connecting scenes and expect us to take it lightly like all the utter crap on other channels! Have more faith in the Geet Team as they have done exceptionally well with GHSP! I think the Geet Team needs to be more involved in whats shown as opposed to just coming up with storylines and waiting on the channel to decide what's shown! That is truly unfair to them as they have worked hard to get Geet where it is today, they have a vision, let them follow through with it without holding them back! Freedom of Creativity as they say!

Another part that has managed to ruin every Maneet Bonding scene is cutting in with Dev-Meera scenes! Although their scenes are good and quite logical, you should not just throw any chunk inbetween Maneet scenes. It completely throws off the atmosphere that Maneet scenes create! One minute your feeling great about Maneet's understanding and BAM the next you get slapped with a Half Naked Dev popping out of nowhere feeling guilty ONCE AGAIN! Can we have consistancy in all characters and not just repeating the same thing over and over and over again with the same characters! It does get boring...and leads to a drag fest! Perneet has been fabulous since she entered, I hope to see her character grow more!

As for the Groups which are forcing you to stop showing certain scenes between couples, well TOUGH! We don't live in the 18th century, this is the 21st Century where the audience has learnt to be more open minded! And if they are worried about the younger audience, then children shouldn't be watching dramas in the first place! Rather it is up to the parents to see what their kids watch or don't watch! So the channel should not get forced into changing the storylines or cutting scenes of the Number 1 show GHSP in order to satisfy these backward people & their utterly absurd claims about such scenes! A show cannot be number one if you don't show us the original storylines! It cannot be number one if everything comes back to the same thing. It cant stay number 1 if instead of using your brains you use your chopper for potentially great scenes! On the contrary it becomes a "filler" show where the logic, the romance, the concept is missing and all we see is random repeats of the same old things which lose their charm if repeated many a times in order to gain popularity! If you want to experiment do so with other show but leave GHSP! If other shows aren't doing so well, axe them and air new shows which will get you the TRPs! Stop ruining GHSP for the sake of us fans please!

Again my advice is STOP RUSHING, us Geetians are very calm and loyal fans, we do not mind seeing the characters grow at a pace but again be careful, being too slow may turn into a drag fest!

I think this is all I have to say for now, I shall more if need be!

Y do we love this show? Its because of the vision the Geet Team (Nissar, CVs, Actors, et. al.) create. But, that vision is now being distorted by the Channel itself. Corrupted by foolishness about wat the masses expect and what the pseudo morality police considers appropriate.

What am i talking about? Apparently, the Channel not PH editted several scenes. Maan's self talk at the cliff, his attempt to piece together the past after wood-chi, his understanding and acceptance of the past on route to the station, and Maaneet's self reflections after re-engagement at the station. Such butchering is unneccesary and unwelcome. Y? Because it leaves the masses confused and angry! And It leaves those with common sense hungry! If we the audience wanted to play connect de dots then television we would not watch! TRPs of Geet have been consistent becoz the story has been consistent...when it gets butchered TRPs will likewise get wrecked.

Moving forward please please STOP this... or rather UNEDIT wats needed for continuity, flow, character development and story. Especially when it destroys the depth of an episode as beautiful as the one meant to be aired today. Instead wat we got was 2nd rate toota crap where the skipping & editting from scene to scene destroyed its magical essence. How did Maan fall behind and get lost in the crowd while Bunty was trying to engage wit Geet? And how can "upcoming" be a scene that's already been shown.😡 Do learn from the Artistic Sins u committed with DMG & MJHT (AR break up & ship out, firing Rati & Shilpa, destroying the very essence of the words "dil. mill gayye"). Wake-up n listen to ur prudent audience or else don't expect us to watch u. Geet HSP is ur last chance to get it rite before the youth and young adults of india give up on our hopeless channel. Get IT!

As for the ill-informed Moron Mahila Mandali - please be BOLD enuff to EDUCATE THEM. And if you can't do it then do let us - the Geet watching Jaanta do it for u😆😆 Trust me it will be our pleasure to explain wat a treasure of women's empowerment this show is. It's a landmark not landfill ka crap. As for the " Parineeta" moment, then is there any sane reason for anybody to object to artistic depiction of reel marriage? Becoz that's wat it is - symbolic marriage. N how can marriage be "immoral", "illicit" , or "corrupt"? What happened to Geet before wit Dev was WRONG, this, on the other hand, could not be more CORRECT!

I just want to take up few serious issues first which needs to b Addressed not to the CVs of Geet but to Star one Channel simply because we care for this Show and we will not tolerate if its creativity is compromised in the name of trps😡..We know trp of a show is important..but there r many ways to get those trps without compromising the creativity of a show..and thats the issue I m going to address here first...

Editing Issue:This has been the major drawback of almost all shows today..We understand that Channel has certain deadlines to meet to satisfy both classes and masses and many scenes r edited out due to time constraints as everything cannot be shown in just 20minute episode..But having said that is it not important to first make sure that while editing out certain scenes,one is not compromising on the creativity or consistency of the story ??..For Eg:The major climax of this show was Geet revealing her past to Maan..that is the friday episode when she talks about her fake marriage truth to Maan...it was suppose to b the most cruicial episode of the series...but look at the execution..it was so rushed up that viewers could not even connect or feel the pain of Maan and Geet...First we were blaming the CVs for this pathetic execution but now we know whats the real problem...the problem is scenes getting edited out because of which the flow is not smooth and so everything looks rushed up;Any blind person can guess that how Maan's self-talks after the truth revelation was edited out....the reason why we could never feel what MSK went thruogh after listening to such a big truth;Why the channel feels that by editing out Maneet conversation scenes and important self-talks and only showing mahiis or eye-locks will give them trps ??😡..thats a very BIG misconception because viewers who r contributing to trps only for eye-locks r not permanent viewers...tomorrow some other hot couple will come with some hot eye-lock scenes and those viewers might move to that new couple😆;But viewers who value a good storyline with right blend of good matured Conversation+Romance will stick to this show and will keep contributing to trps throughout the series if we get a quality product😊...

So now the channel has to decide..what is more important for them...instant popularity which some mass crowd r bringing ...or rulling the heart of class audience with true recognition which will last forever😊...

Bold Scene Issue:There have been lot of hue and cry regarding bold scenes shown on TV these days😕..my question is why our social activist grps,political parties and various woman activists r not showing the same interest when its comes to matters related to the pride of the nation like the commonwealth games and its uncertain future ??..why these so called moral policing grps don't show the same interest when a 3yr old girl was brutally raped recently ??😊..Why they have a problem only with a fiction show where a girl who was betrayed in her past is slowly moving on in her life and is feeling the pleasure of love and desire all over again,...is it a sin to thirst for love and passion ??..is it a sin if a man showers his unconditional love to the girl passionately ??..If so then where were this so called social activists gone when Dev cheated Geet into a fake marriage and slept with her ??why was that scene not opposed ??..Why today true love and desire should get a opposition ??..In short I would like to say to the channel that we don't want any edited scenes here again like u did for another show of yours..we want to see the full unedited version of Roop tera mastana sequence and u hv full junta's support with u..Geet is not a candyfloss love saga where two lovers will simply run around trees..hold hands and do eye-locks...its an intense passionate tale of two people...so here we want bold and matured romance and not any teenage college romance..get that straight if you'll want trps😊...

And here is what we r expecting from this show..this is mainly for the channel ..because we can see that CVs and Actors of Geet are doing a wonderful job here👏..but their efforts r going in waste with some unfair editing going on by the channel ...

So Star one plss focus on

(1) More Matured conversation between Maneet (For eg:Wednesday's episode👍🏼)

(2) Story and character consistency on a regular basis which can b achieved with proper editing.. (For eg:In today's episode..one moment Maan grabs Geet's hand and is leaving and next moment she is standing in crowd receiving shaguns form that client😕...Is this what is called editing ??)

(3) Cruicial scenes should not b chopped off as it makes the scene or the continuation look OTT (For eg:Tuesday's episode which lacked continuation and we can sense that many scenes were edited out here)

(4) Geet's USP is that its a intense passionate tale...so we want bold romantic and passionate scenes and not cliched eye-locks or mahiis😊..

Keep these issues in mind...rectify them and u can give us a masterpiece😊

On a serious note - Don't mess with this one show. We are involved in this story to an extent that is insane - so much of our time and emotion is invested in it. And, it is in your *vested* interest to listen to us.

Your audience are modern women, who know how to balance and *enjoy* the demands of life, family, career and yes, our sexuality. I simply fail to understand any reasoning behind editing bold scenes of Maaneet romance. Or for that matter, editing anything that makes the story more meaningful, soulful and a classic.

Why? why would you dampen the affect, the intensity of Geet and destroy its soul? Makes no sense all - after creating something so beautiful, why now would you go about marring it?

Why edit?? there is no rush....i guess the pace of the show was just fine....i just dont get the whole editing business and rushing......some episodes are great but some are just so below average that the less said the better.

All of this is caused by editing. Editings just ruin the neat flow of the storyline and becomes screwed. There is no connection between episodes and the consistency of the characters become imbalanced. 😳 That is just plain annoying and makes u lose interest on the show. Few days back the character of Maan Singh Khurana felt dead to me😕 why because important scenes were edited out and all we got to see was a whole new different MSK on the whole. Serious things happen the previous night and the following day Maan and Geet go all normal as if nothing happened? what kind of logic is that? 😕 I just dont get it! Viewers arent stupid that they wont understand a mere flow of the storyline! The TRPs are going to get effected badly if you dont show logical stuffs.

QUALITY IS ALL THAT MATTERS.

All the romance and eye-locks will eventually become boring and the so called mass that u guys r trying to please....they themselves will bow out one day.....nobody like to see the same thing over and over again!!

What you guys need to show is scenes that have logic blend with everything that is being portrayed. I know that it's just a show and logic will not always work but no harm if u try to show some logic if not full of them. 😆

About showing bold scenes.

Why even pay heed to those nonsensical political parties and social activists group? dont they have anything better other than protesting in some nonsense stuffs related to entertainment? They should rather solve problems women r facing in the big bad world out there and not focus in something where a woman has been fighting all the odds and has found her true soulmate in another man...yes maybe he is not the father of her child SO WHAT? cant they see how much the man means to her and she loves him unconditionally and so does the man. What is the harm in showing this. Love means Desire! Also this is the 21st century 😳

Geet HSP itself is a bold show. What sets this show apart from other nonsense show is the passionate and intense love of the lead pair. We want to see a matured romance and bold scenes where the couple doesnt sleep together with the lights turning off. This is what will get u TRPs.

More conversation between the two and not just eye-locks...they r both matured enough to sit and talk and romance....only looking at each other doesnt solve anything.

No more editing important scenes. If u wanna edit then chop those eye-locks and put in more conversational scenes where they are talking like matured people and are also romancing at the same time. A good blend of intensity, talking, romance, logic is always welcome!

Please make sure the characters remain consistent. A neat flow should be maintained.

This show is all about being bold. Give us some HOT HOT BOLD and passionate Maan and Geet scenes and those TRPs will reach sky high 😳

First of all, the fact that we, as fans, have to come out and write something like this should already be a slap on the faces of people who actually should be doing this. Why are we so concerned about this? Why not the people who are actually HIREd to think about these issues?

To this i say that you all are very lucky to have fans like us who care so much about the success of the show in every term. Afterall this is OUR show and we want the BEST for it. And if the Actual people responsible for telecasting this show would only care as much as we did, we would have a smooth sailing ride.But Alas! that is NOT the case here.

We, as fans, are feeling the need to come out and DEMAND for better edited scenes. It is already a shame that we are noticing the flaws in every passing episode despite of being inexperienced in this field (at least i can talk for myself). If we can notice this, why can't the so called professionals notice this? Do you guys even watch your own product and see how its presented on screen? Or you just run the scissors depending on your mood..then go home and sleep?

Well if that IS the case then you need to wake up and realise what you are doing! You guys have sensible viewers whowant to see logic, sense and story. So, what is your problem in giving them what they want?

Also, funny thing here is that the wonderful actors and Direction team actually take their time out and shoot all the scenes required for the consistency of the episodes. But again..what do the great channel editors do? Disrespect the time and effort the actors and the team have put into the performances too. If you are given a ready-made package from the Geet Team which is READY to be catered to the audiences, why are you putting so much interference into it? I understand that you are gonna say that it is your show too and you are the ones who are responsible for the telecasting and on and on..But if you are already getting such wonderful responses from the

audiences AND know that the viewers want to see the complete picture rather than just some candy-floss romance and high-voltage drama..then WHY are you doing this?

Well to cut long story short, you all should stop putting pressure on the Show Heads and let them do their job and instead invest some brains into how you can make the show better rather than how you can destroy it.And since the Geet team already seems to be doing such a great job, you are not gonna have much to do. So, in thatspare time why dont you actually invest some ideas into how you can promote the show and channel better so youcan get increased viewership and your much desired TRPs? Think about it!! Its a win win for you, the actors/creatives/

directors AND us, the viewers of this show.

Lastly i just want to say that please do NOT edit important/logical scenes from the show and do NOT put pressure on the Geet team to show nonsensical materials..like some unnecessary display of bare torsos!

PLEASE Do not edit out sequences from this show! WE Love GEET HUI SABSE PARAYI and We really appreciate you for telecasting it on your channel BUT We Want to Witness the Entire Magical Sequences in this show..Not any EDITED VERSION of it!!

This is a message for Star One

Its really annoying when the channel edits out important scenes from every episode. I agree that its not possible to show everything that's shot in a 30min episode but where's the logic in editing out important scenes pertinent to the storyline & keeping stuff that has no head nor tail to it. It messes with the continuity of the screenplay & the viewers are left with the task of trying to join the dots & figuring out how one scene connects with the next!!!

I understand that this is game of TRPs for the channel & they try to cram in stuff which they believe will garner the maximum amount of TRPs. But the channel is doing this at the cost of quality. They are forgetting that ultimately it's the story that sells & if the viewers are not happy with what's being shown they will move on to another show resulting in falling TRPs. Today's audience is intelligent & smart enough to understand the difference between substance & mediocrity. So the channel or anyone else connected with a particular show should not take them for granted.

Lastly, the actors & the creative team have put in a lot of effort in making this show what it is i.e. the number 1 show on Star One. The least you as a channel can do is respect their creativity & vision. Editing crucial scenes without logic is unfair to them.

So, Star One do not fall into the trap of resorting to mediocrity for the sake of TRPs. If your show has quality & manages to captivate the audience with a sensible storyline, the TRPs will automatically follow.
