its such a romantic notion to have a person with a clean slate be understanding...so beautiful...but not really realistic....i will still say that pity and sympathy becomes more pronounced as the time goes by.....if a partner in a relationship has gone through something devastating....they are bound to have emotional hang ups....certain things u cant do with them...u cant just wipe away the experience that has shaped u.....so if the other partner has never experienced something like that how can we expect them to be always understanding??.....always be there??...always willing to wait...for the rest of their lives??

Love is not only about realization and beginning ... Love begins after you commit and decide to walk together. Making the relationship work despite all the differences. If doubts are gonna surface later then why make this story special.

Mann is a special character and not the usual one. So, why make him go through the same cliched route. It should not be: Your baggage is as heavy as mine: Let's dump them in one baggage and walk together. According to me, it should be, I may not understand the depth of your pain but I'll be there with you always and try my best to understand. If I flounder, please make me understand and share. I'll do the same.

@Lana - its not about Maan doing nthing out of pit... but, comphrension of depth of devastation unless u have been similarly destroyed... For instance, he appreciates that the office staff's gossip bothers her, but does he truly grasp the taunts she gets becoz of their close relationship (past n present?). No. He doesn't. He's gotten protective of her on point, but does not get her pain still

Lana - but there needs to be a realistic explanation to why Maan would support Geet without any he hesitation. Is there anyone truly so selfless that they will never once even doubt that what they did was the right thing? I agree with Gouri, when the other person hasn't experienced the same things there is some doubt and emotional hang up.

@Lana...Geet is already feeling differently...she already has emotional hang ups...dont u see trust issues??...why do u think she keeps teetering this questioning phase....for me she already has huge trust hang up...she is terrified to trust to again...her heart says one thing and her mind says another

@lana - doodie is upset n thinks that they ruined the parineeta metaphor as she thinks the stars witnessed their togetherness n hence the sagai was complete..... but she fails to understand that the ring ceremony was needed coz maan had put the ring on her finger without really wanting to do it.... he just got carried away..... but if he had done it with intension then the second ring ceremony wasnt needed.... 2nd ring ceremony was needed even for the metaphor to complete.... for him to realise that he put the ring on her finger coz he wanted to let her know that there is a hum......
