Doodle - agree. I think thats the only way they can actually give a convincing comparison for Sam and Geet. I don't think the big deal is that Maan slept with Sam but the fact of who he really loves, which is Geet.

Anjana: Why is it important to have two people in love to have somewhat similar experience to understand where the other is coming from?

@Doodle...about Maan and Sam having a physical relationship...i have been thinking about it too...and i think its highly possible...why not...why cant he be burned as well...and i personally think he will be able to understand her (geet's) pain more then ever if he was betrayed in a similar way....coz for me empathy comes from experience baqi sub is sympathy

Today as i was wondering about the "pyar ki nishani" line. I was like this has more meaning to it. what is it? This isn't about some bungalow but has something to do with Maan and Geet. And now walah! it hits me. People refer to their child as a "pyar ki nishani". It all makes sense.

I mentioned the same in one of my posts. But, why cannot he have a clean slate and still be understanding and her equal. Or as Pooja said, why cannot two unequal people fall in love. They are both powerful in their own rights.

And that sexual relations & abortion was the first option i sggsted to Lana a few pgs ago regarding Sam (balancing Geet keeping baby). The other two was JWM and 3rd he was being used as small fish to catch some other fish.

My point too. Love is about understanding and not sympathy. Plus, the girl is ready to trust again and believe in his words: That for me is the biggest equalizer.
