An - it was one of ma suggested options... i don't believe in committing to theory...juss having some and being willing to explore others... Love is Love is Love... depth has to do wit wat one feels nothing to do with emphathy... it would juss be intriguing matching symbolism that's all

of course two uneual people can fall in love....but the question is can they sustain a relationship??....an unclean slate after a certain point will have doubts...no matter how good u are or no matter how pure ur intentions are....human beings always tend to think things in hindsight...so at some point one of them would bring this difference up.

its such a romantic notion to have a person with a clean slate be understanding...so beautiful...but not really realistic....i will still say that pity and sympathy becomes more pronounced as the time goes by.....if a partner in a relationship has gone through something devastating....they are bound to have emotional hang ups....certain things u cant do with them...u cant just wipe away the experience that has shaped u.....so if the other partner has never experienced something like that how can we expect them to be always understanding??.....always be there??...always willing to wait...for the rest of their lives??

Pingu - u can sympathise with someone ... but to really understand the depth of the pain..u need to feel it.... n in absolute depth u can feel the pain onyl if u hv had gone thru it.... else u always just think u r able to understand the depth of the pain a person is goin thru.... empathy comes only if u hv really felt the pain too......

once again agreed! I didn't understand why the ring ceremony had to be done twice either. They could not have done it better than the one they did it on tuesday. But I think that they did it to prove the points that Anj had posted on her analysis. still....they could have proved all those points in a better way.

Gouri - very true. I have seen it in real life so many times. For example when something bad happened to someone, i would always tell them everything will be fine, don't worry. But until i felt their pain myself, i didn't understand what it was. Those words of consolation seemed so meaningless then.
