I think he is doing fabulous job. I seriously love his acting, he changed his expressions in seconds, and he is portraying MSK character very well..

As you are talking about his accent and all. Let me tell you seriously i had watch ton of Hindi shows, and people were really worst in their accent, but that doesnt count much. Acting is the matter, how they would portrays 1 character..

It's happens sometime when you use english words between hindi, you have lost the english accent in between...

There are ton of people cant even say phool, phir, rivaj..... instead of that they said fool, fir, rivaz. In english "ph" sound "fa", but in urdu/hindi it's sound "pha"....

I lives in US since 18 yrs, now i improved alot, but still sometime when i talk with my desi friends, my accent always get changed, and even i laughs on my own accent....
So take a chill pill, we could ignore small thing like accent front of his acting skill....

Wow!! .. just read thru the entire post.. I am silent reader, but today I couldnt resist commenting..

Welcome to the forum.. I repect your POV but I so wish you were more polite while expressing your views..
I just love the current track.. it is more logical than any other shows. tried watching genda phool, uttaran, pavitra rista and few other lost interest after some time..
But when it comes to Geet I have to watch it,,, and it is only because of MSK's character..
Tried watching the earlier episodes of Geet with dev-geet never could attach to it.. My interest grew only after Maan's entry and his chemistry with Drashi..
I find Gurmeet to be a excellent excellent actor.. best among the new lot currently on Indian TV.. He has got a very expressive face, speaks volumes through his eyes and has completely molded himself into Maan's character... he is an awesome dancer..Dont forgot his great bod and awesome looks that are required to be a successful actor..
And frankly speaking I never found any problem with his hindi or English.. I tried watching yesterday's episode never found anything wrong with his diction.. have been watching the maneet one at least 10 times and had no problem with it.. not sure why it is such a big deal.. I love the way he speaks, .
According to me even SRK or Big B are not any better (in English) if you compare the bollywood actors..the only name I could cme up with was Simi Garewal the old actress, cant find anyone else atleast for this moment .. I would prefer an original one over a made up or fake english accent.
I am living in US for 19 years,I work with global teams, Hear different accents from several coworkers every single day.. I never was questioned for my accent when I was new to this country and I do have to talk a lot, part of my job..
I can begin whole new debate over english accent.. which one is better Bristish, american, Indian or canadian.. But I don't want to start that here as each person should have an open mind in accepting another person..
nobody is perfect.. each and every person has flaws.. always remember when you point your finger at someone, four fingers are pointing at you..
I know I wont be watching Geet if there is in no Maan in it.. Thank you Gurmeet for giving us Maan..

Okay I have been following the whole post now and what everyone is trying to say is that there is a way of expressing yourself without offending anyone the way you expressed yourself has offended many, even the moderator asked you for the same thing...

Its a daily soap and he has improved alot..... I like no no I love him the way he is and as he is a perfectionist I think before you even made the post the guy started working on it 🤣
compared to the first epis though I dun find anything wrong in dem either his dialogue delivery has improved tremendously

nd someone here even mentioned him saying the word buttons not in gud manner

maaannnnnnnnnnnn!!!!!!!!!!!! after reading that I watched the scene like so many times and to me it was perfect........

as rude as I sound to many of you right now...... as a new member I think it was an attention seeking post sorry if I offended you now but really after reading the post dat was all dat came to my mind... Previously a similar post was made by someone I didnt find the link to put it up for reference she had explained da same thing in such a manner that no one got offended drashti's mumbai accent and his jalal pur one and how he has improved and even if he didnt we love him the way he is rather than saying out eekkkksss dat you know has offended many her.... (I hope someone remembers the post I refered to)

Its not your POV that has offended the people here its da way you have expressed you POV...

Its IF and everyone here is allowed to express his or her views thats what the forum is about but THE WAY YOU EXPRESS IT is wot counts the most further the way the post was expressed was like bashing the actor which is also against the rules.......

My sincere apologies if I have offended anyone here

Guru I love you.............

Cheers

Sid

I dont think the person that started this topic expressed her pov rudely, i think that the women on this forum are so invested in this maan character, Gurmeet the actor that you cant help yourselves but be a bit offended when someone writes something about someone you care so much about, for example its like someone saying something like your child cant play tennis well she need lessons!! Now normally any parents will get offended however, its the truth and therefore perhaps i should look at it more objectively rather then thinking that this person said it rudely or what ever, hey maybe this person just was trying to be Gurmeet's constructive critic

Like Bul said there are more ways of expressing yourself widout offending anyone... I refered to a post where the same thing was discussed but in a more polite manner..... the whole post could have been delivered in a more subtle way 😊

I totally get what your saying Sid (If i may call you that?) And what i am saying to you is why get offended, what is gurmeet to you? he's a guy acting a role out right? why take anything anyone says about him offensively? this is what really i can not understand? And i remember there was a topic here before and people found it offensive and ran her off? why is it that whenever someone posts a topic with a different pov, that person is either bombarded with replies that they find offensive.or they simply vanish cause they know their pov were not welcomed, (even though so many of you welcomed her, she even replied saying thank you to the ones that werent so welcoming.) I mean why is it that women are ready to fight back with words that are somewhat rude when really all you are discussing is a an actor and his abilities? why find anything about Gurmeet offensive? Now if Gurmeet himself were to find her offensive by all means i totally get that, if his girlfriend finds it offensive i get that, but why do all of you find it necessary to feel that way?
