Maan...Head Hugger!!

Just a trivial silly point I have noticed...😳.everytime Maan hugs Geet..he hugs her in a special way...one of his hands is always on Geet's head...whether it was in Hoshiarpur violence incident...or the rain sequence....or where's the party tonite sequence.....or the fake hug in the office one...one of his hands kind of turns Geet's head in the direction he desires..😉!!

Yes, eveline. I noticed it. Normally they dont show the heroes hug their lady love in the manner Maan hugs his girl. The hand on the head is definitely protective. This may be because right from their first meeting Maan has always been rescuing her so I guess he feels very protective of her. It conveys a lot of tenderness, love, protectiveness and passion. They also say that the head caress indicates the level of comfort between the couple. We normally don't let people hold our heads unless we are really close to them and trust them for head-holding exposes our vulnerability.

Hey couldn't put it better...great analysis..and you know what...i just love the unique way he handles her....i have not seen any other lead males do this....and makes me wonder if this is a Maan trait or a Guru trait....it seems more like a natural gesture than an affectation.!

No I don't think this is Guru's gesture but Maan's. The CVs have etched Maan's character down to the last detail and I feel this too is one of them. I read in an interview Guru mentions that he lives the character of Maan on the sets.

The age difference between Maan and Geet can also explain this 'protective' hug.

Ooooh nice observation, that's soo true, makes Maan even more unique and special, and omgg his hugs are soo damn passionate all the time, head hugging makes them even more loving and intense!
