😕

Well..for those who don't know, Hasratein was a tv show which used to come in mid 90s, i guess😕...on Zee tv.....i have never watched it, but i know how that serial was....'coz my elders used to watch it....
Well, it was based on extra-marital affairs!....And here too, D&G are actually married, ya, you may call it a fake marriage, but whatever, they have got married, with all the rituals and all....so they can be considered to be 'actually married'.....and by the looks of it, i feel Dev still has feelings for Geet......but now Geet is with Maan..............so do you think the show may take a Hasratein kinda turn in future?😕.....

I have watched Hasratein.......and if I remember correctly it was some what rated R in some sense. It was also very serious grown up drama, social drama. The show Geet is very much light hearted drama. It also is very close to Hindu customs also, so things that happened in Hasratein can not really occur with the main leads. Geet and Maan will fall in love, with no extra marital affairs. As for Geet and Dev the only realationship left between them is revenge, so that another Geet is never born ever again.

me too have watched Hasratein, it was awesome drama

even if we imgine Geet and Dev r married actually, but i dont think Geet will be like that , bcz there Savi's hubby was not bad, didnt deceive her like Dev infact it was Savi who had affair with her boss and leaves her hubby and son for him so is her boss leaves his childeren and wife for savi, this is absolutely not a case with Maan....

Rituals alone donot make Geet and Dev married. As per the Hindu marriage Act, a man cant marry another woman when his first wife is still alive (ubless ofcourse he divorces her, which is not the case here as NT is still very much Dev's wife). Even the ceremony was performed by a fake priest. So Geet is in no way, religious or legal, tied to Dev. Yes, she is carrying his baby. But that does not mean she has to live as his mistress in order to give the baby a father. Dev is also not one to acce[t responsibility of raising a baby. He is the eternal flirt. a casanova, a wastrel. So if Geet develops feelings for Maan, there is nothing wrong in that.

There are several stories of an unmarried girl marrying a widower or a divorcee and raising his children. So why should an unmarried man not marry a woman, who has been ditched by a man whom she thought was her husband, and raise her child.

Well Hasratein was a top class drama and my all time fav😳..we cannot compare any show to the class of Hasratein I feel😳
But in that show KT and Asmita were legally married..even Savi-Shyam were legally married..both their married lives were also very happy without any tension..but all of a sudden Savi and KT start developing feelings for each other without any real reason..it was a complete extra-marital affair there with some real adult passion involved...the subject was very bold but it was executed brillaintly with some top notch performances👍🏼...see I even remember all the character names still😆😳
Whereas in Geet...its more of a betrayal and backstabbing case...Also unlike KT in hasratein..here Maan is not married😃(I hope he was not married in the past😕)..and NT's character is a vamp/cheater here unlike the female characters like Savi or Asmita who were not cheaters or vamps in that show....main difference is that Shyam-KT were not brothers in that serial whereas here Dev-Maan r brothers which sort of makes the story a bit more complicated thn Hasratein I feel😕😆...Anyways lets see how CVs deal with it..if they want to follow a bold subject like hasratein then the direction and screenplay needs to b top notch..
