Maan is walking in full-speed,like he usually does and bumps into Geet who has stopped...

MAan-GEET! Do you stop out of habit? Do you LIKE bumping every ten seconds?
Geet- No need to shout. I have no interest in bumping into you purposely...If you would only look ahead while walking and not every side..you will maybe start realizing that you are not the only person on EARTH!!
Maan- 😲 ahem...I will keep that in mind( sorta embarrased)
Geet gestures towards the house with her eyes
MAan gestures back asking her what
Geet- UFF...The party is still going on..and I was supposed to be in pain..so you took me to the doctor and he told me to eat some sweets, so we went and ate
Maan raises himself up to his full height and says to the air above his nose

She gets surprised and confused as soon as she sees the sweets
Dadi to Maan- Maan..aap paagal hain? We told you to go take her to the hospital..and you have brought back gaajar ka halwa and (looks into bag)- rasmalai and Daal ka halwa!
Really Maan..We are flattered but seriously...
Maan glares at Geet and then Dadi and says
Maan- Samjhao Dadi ko. I'm going to explain everything to people
Geet- suniye...
Maan turns with his heart doing flip-flo

But Geet thinks back to their car conversation and how lightly Maan took it. Her anger and hurt visible on her face as lights dim and the music starts. She looks at Maan, and searches his face for any kind of explanation, and seeing none is about to move away when he pulls her close(gently remembering the baby) and

Maan- Okay. Geet- do you want to know about Dev now at the party when anyone could overhear us or when we are alone?

Geet is very very surprised to see this strong man who is her husband on his knees promising her honesty and looking at her like...like it matters to him what she thinks about him

Maan can barely make sense of what he said or did. How could he be so impulsive? HIM..he has never been like this..okay, scratch that-he has been crazy since Geet..it's like his life starts and ends with Geet
and now this..oh well, the point was that he had to make her understand..and now he will tell her the truth
After the dance, and the ever-lasting dinner, Maan realises that he actually loved the dhabha food, much better than all the weird stuff he had been having for years and loved sitting in the dhaba atmosphere where everyone acted as they wished. At least, people didn't pretend somewhere in this world
His eyes searched for Geet and found hers on him as well, waiting to know the truth.
Geet thought to herself- I wonder why he looks at me like that..even if for a second...but then
Geet (to herself)-Arre are you mad? He has eyes, obviously he will look at people . Do Adi, Pinky and Mr Chopra think this way when he looks at them? Well..Pinky maybe..but Adi and Mr Chopra definitely don't. Then why are you making so much out of a look. Now toh you should be extra careful because you have been betrayed even with words before. Believing someone is the hardest thing ever and yet you're trying to believe him- who glares at you like he will eat you, who screams at you at every opportunity, and yet who takes care that you have all that you want.. But Geet...what do you want?
Geet places a hand on her abdomen and smiles
Geet- I want my baby to be happy and as long as that is happening..I can face anything
Head held high, she proceed to go to Maan's side and say goodbye to all guests.
