Chapter 14

Vicky pays the taxi guy and whisks Nargis up to this floor after cursory greeting to the concierge.

In the lift, he hold Nargis in the circle of his arms despite protests from Nargis.

As they enter the apartment, Vicky shuts the door with his heel and picks Nargis up and takes her to his bedroom.

Narigis was still dealing with the alien feelings exploding found herself slowing being put on his bed and Vicky joining her on it.

Nargis tried to open her mouth to protest but Vicky put his fingers on her lips and said Shhh! I need you nargis right now and kissed her senseless. He then ensued a passionate attack on her senses with feathery light kisses. He touched her at places that she did not know could elicit such reactions. Vicky drove every thought from her head and took her to new heights that even the odd romance novels she had read had not prepared her for. Nargis's dreams, if she had any, about lovemaking were beyond fulfilled. Vicky was a magnificent lover, considerate yet passionate. He understood her hesitation instinctively and alleviated her doubts expertly. He whispered endearments heightened nargis's arousal to a fever pitch where she could not think of anything other than her and now. As they climbed an unknown and oh so far away peaks together, their mingled breath and moans evidence of their hunger and satiation. They reached that elusive height with a burst, Vicky growled and slumped on her and rolled on his back taking her with him. He gathered her to him and settled her in spoon position and whispered I love you as they both fell into a satisfied and dreamless sleep.

Nargis woke up with a slight ache in her body, then she remembered and blushed what had happened a few hours ago and opened her eyes with a start to find Vicky lounging next to her looking at her with a smile on his face.

As he saw her opening her eyes, he murmured..Good morning sleeping beauty! Breakfast is served. Seeing her shocked expressions he laughed, No! Not me! The food, though you can have me later.

Nargis blushed and was embarrassed to find Vicky fully clothed now and she was still wrapped in only a sheet. She said, Ok! Give me few minutes and I will take a shower and join you, as she sat up with sheet covering her, Vicky then sat up and backed against the head board and said..okay I will wait..and smiling with devilry in his eyes. Nargis picked up a pillow to throw at him but felt her sheet running away from her..and stop and huffed and went to the bathroom wrapping the sheet around her, which seemed to be slipping away and heard Vicky's soft laughter as she went to it.

Nargis still embarrassed and shy about the night before as she showered and kept remembering the things she had done with Vicky. She did not know she could be so brazen and bold.

She peeked out into the room before she stepped out in the bathrobe she had found in the bathroom that was too big for her. She heaved a sigh of relief when she found the room empty. She picked up her clothes strewn on the floor, a stark display of what had transpired last night and got dressed in them.

She went out to find, the breakfast set out for her on the counter and Vicky perched on one of the stool drinking orange juice waiting for her.

As she walked towards him with bent head feeling shy, she could feel Vicky's eyes on her all the time.

Without looking up she joined him at the table and heard him say Jaanu! Are you not going to look at me?

Nargis then looked up to find a pair of eyes full of love and caring looking back at her and her shyness melted like morning dew and picked up the glass of orange juice to bask in Vicky's sunny warmth and love.

Chapter 15

Just as they were finishing their breakfast, Vicky got a call and his expression changed from one of mischief to contrite.and said..Ji Bhai! I uh..needed..uh..to get uh..! but before he could continue, he heard maan tell him to get his backside back in delhi as he was sending Adi to take care of the paris operations as he had a wedding to organize, this he said with a laugh. Vicky was not scared of his brother but respect usually never let him oppose him. He knew he was in for some trouble for leaving the very night he had arrived in India and had some explaining to do..but he was saved by this euphoria that Maan was in with the wedding coming up.

Vicky relieved to be off the hook said..Haanji Bhai Saab..i will be there in two..days. winking at Nargis

And heard Maan roared..two days? You will be here tomorrow'morning'then..as if he was not sure of what was happening'Daadi is going beserk and I need you here'come on'kiddo..help me out here, I am getting married for the first time.

Vicky then joked with Maan as he realized how jittery he was, Oh! Ab aaya na Uoont pahad ke neeche! Ok! Ok! I will be there, don't worry, Vicky will solve all your problems crossing his fingers as he knew if Daadi had something to say it meant no one can deter her'

Vicky kept the phone down and looked at nargis and muttered'

Pyar ke dushman! Bhai ko itni jaldi kyat hi shaadi karne ki'meri..life..mein'spokes laga..diye! here I wanted to spend time with you.and ab?

Nargis said'Toh kya hua? Family hai'you must go to them! Vicky gave a rueful expression that said..i have better things to do! And said nothing!

Nargis gave a worried look but then..thought nothing more of it and said..

I will go to the hotel and get packed up and meet you at the airport? Vicky turned from his thoughts and said..Kya? bhag jaana chahati ho'?

Nargis said..Bhagna? why would I be running..but something seemed different about Vicky after that call..something that nagged at Nargis but she could not put her finger on it. Vicky seemed to become a little unaware of her. She didn't like that..already thoughts of not satisfying him were coming to her mind.

She became quiet and stacked up the breakfast dishes and cleared the table. Vicky was sitting on the couch still lost in his thoughts. Nargis after doing the dishes came up to him a bit nervous as to what to do and said

Uh! May be I should go? You seem to need some time alone. May be you don't want me around. As she turned to go, Vicky's hand came out and caught her wrist and pulled her to him and she fell on him. He put his head on her bosom, inhaled deeply and rumbled with a crack in his voice, Just hold me Nargis! hugging her tight to him.

Nargis did not know what to make of Vicky; one minute he was this clown and next he turned into this brooding stranger who seemed to be fighting some demons. Not thinking further she hugged him to her to give him comfort and her strength to fight whatever was troubling him. She realized that Vicky was a complex man, underneath the happy go lucky facade.

Vicky hands slowly traced the curve of her spine, lifting his head up to give her kiss that was passionate and of something that spoke of besetment of emotions that even Vicky didn't know he had. Soon the kiss turned into passionate embrace that needed culmination into lovemaking that will leave them breathless. He needed to feel her skin and swiftly helped each other to shed their garments and took her there on the couch till they were spent.

Afterwards, Vicky packed a his bag, took nargis to her hotel to collect her things while he organized a flight for them and they both went to the airport to go back to Delhi.

Vicky was not very communicative through out the flight though he kept gazing at her and out the window alternatively in deep contemplation.

They landed in Delhi and found Vicky's driver waiting for them, Vicky instructed him to drop nargis first and then take to Khurana mansion. Vicky seemed too preoccupied and only gave a perfunctory peck on the cheek when they reached her apartment complex and sat back in and drove away.

Nargis was a bit stunned at the changed behavior but put it down to preoccupation with family and the upcoming wedding, went inside and got ready for bed.
