If Tamil Serials' Fans Lounge.

The lounge is quiet - unusually calm atmosphere -so calm that
the members are worried about Roja😳.They know that Nallu
has gone for a pilgrimage -" Roja akka voda twin aa na pannina
galata kkellam atone panna vendaama, athan" - well, these are
not Nallu's words but Roja the mind reader infers such
reasoning. Giri is cut off from the civilization - house shifting le
busy, no TV, internet or telephone - blessed soul😳😳.
Vinu has vanished in to thin air - absolutely no noise from
her, she just wrote one set of exams for her son and has
taken off to cool her heels 😳😳 Eljay is busy at Madras -
"No Jammu, vera oru nalla ponnu thaan ACD kku, she is
sieving the whole place with a tea strainer😳😳.Fluidd is
enjoying her honeymoon.

Sue is elated about her son meeting Jas the dazz. Jas has
a wicked smile - " chech, u are in for a shock when he comes
back - a lot of inside info has been disseminated" - Ho is
delighted with vaathu's approach to creep - "Good Friday
annikki ipdi oru nalla news kudutha Pat kku enna thaan
gift anupparathu??" - Vani is on the hot seat - " managed so
far with out much damage, inime enna aagumO?' Caryn is still
ROFL ing - "Serial is a woman and not a man, ayyo ayyo" -
a la Vadivelu😳. Suram is busy goading Jas -" kostin kekka
maattennu solli ipdi oru idi yai thookki thalai le potta nanga
enna seyvOm?? reconsider pannunga please..." Jas can not
believe that she managed to develop a fan for her Qs -
"now, who is more wicked?? me or Suram??" Jas does not
know that Suram plans to compile a book with Jas' Qs and then
ask Roja for a CK on all the serial directors answering them!!


Pokkiri has got a new name -Kutty Simbha - to justify the name
he is sporting a new hairstyle -"hey singam pole nadanthu varan
chinna kutti thambi..." Meli looks tired -" Kolangal update le
ethanai problem?? hmm oru mathiri solve aayachu, eppo marupadi
pichikkumO?" Supree is all smiles - "Anniversary with badam
halwa, caught up with Megala updates , right now life is good"
When all are lost in their own thoughts.... yes the lounge door
bangs... all wake up with a start... Yes the maddie is back and
God knows what she is up to today????!!!!

Roja walks in quietly and goes to a corner - busy making calls
to some one and talks in a hushed voice. Jas almost puts her ears
to Roja's mouth and Sue does some lip reading..... Caryn waits
... The lounge door bangs a few times more and we see a trio
entering - Menu, Rekha and Aadhi of Kolangal,
Now every one sits up.. well Roja did her home work
after all ... and they hear Roja singing" vannanukku vannathi
mele aasai ,aana vannathikkO kazhuthai mele aasai" - Caryn
demands an immediate translation and maddie obliges - " the
dhobi is in love with Mrs.Dhobi whereas she is in love with her
donkey, once the drama unfolds u will know who is who" - the
mad gleam is in place now😳😳

Rekha of Ko goes to hissy and sings:
Thoratha sonne thorathi vitten
appanum hubbyum poittanga
hissy paiyya hissy paiyya
honey moon than pogalamaa??
Hissy does not care - not even a look at her - he drools over
the oily Menu and sings:
Menaka vanthaal, manasukkul nuzhainthaal
Folk songs paadu Aadhithya
Kaalil vizhunthu Menu kku ice vai
panamaa kottuvaal aval thane.
Menu looks at him as if he is a mosquito and sings to Jenny:
" Kaasu mele kaasu vanthu kottukira neram ithu
vasa kathavai Reddy gumbal thattukira neram ithu
Hissy ai thorathu Reddy ai anuppu
velai romba irukku Jenny" -
Jenny picks up a base ball bat and drives Hissy. He shouts and
hisses - in the same order - 'Yeyy, Naa Devraj ai anuppiduven,
apram nasthi aagiduvinga " and suddenly he realizes that DRP is standing behind Menu as her bodyguard - he swoons and Rekha
drags him away singing -
" Ennai vida intha ulagathil usanthathu yaarum ille
yaarum ille, Menu ellam ippo thaane vantha thollai
vantha thollai"
Jenny holds the 70mm laptop and Menu gets to work 😳
Roja signals to Simbha who unceremoniously kicks the Kolangal
group out of the lounge.

The members are all talking at the same time but another trio
enters silencing the lounge - this time it is Rekha,vaathu and
creep of Kasthuri. Ho gets excited and starts singing
"Kasthuri Maane ullasa swan ee " - stops as Roja's eyes
are emitting fire😳.
Vaathu takes position " Yen purusan theennnn
yenakku mattum thennnn,sontham thaan
endru naan ninaichene, avan ennai vittu vera
kutti pidichaane..."
drools over creep and tries to look lovey dovey - she just can
not get it😳😳 - not that creep cares - he is running behind a
stylish Rekha singing
" yengukiren yengukiren idhayam yengukiren,
Niwas vanthu kollai adikka vidave maattene" -
Rekha looks at him with total disgust and sings
" Dairiyamaga sol nee manithan thaana??
illai neethan oru dhrogi, yen vazhvil vantha
porukki" -
creep begs , Vaathu drools, Simbha kicks.....

And now one more trio - Jas sighs" God let this be the last pair!!
And Boy, I did manage to avoid all this" - Priya, Gaya and Poo
of Lachu - Gaya enters singing
" Unnai ninaichen paatu padchen
Poobala yenthan Poobala,nammai yaaru piricha,
oru kOdu kizicha yenthan appan thaane Poobala...."
but Poo is busy trying to drill reason in to his arai kirukku wife -
" Namba vendum yennaithaane yenthan Priyaave,
Gayu kooda connection illai yenthan Priyave".
Priya closes her eyes and sings
" Vivek vanthaan Vivek vanthaan Lodge vaasalile,
avan amma vanthaa amma vantha enga naduvile"-
Gayu has a hopeful look, Poo is vexed... Priya thinks that she is
smart...Simbha uses the base ball bat left behind by Jenny😳😳

Roja''s mad gleam gets sharper and wait wait.....it is Caryn who
laughs hysterically today - she did get the meaning of "vannann..
vannathii .. kazhuthai...aasai" idiom......😳😳. The rest join the
laughter.... Simbha looks tired after all the kicking and hitting..
Roja rests... "well, I did train these people well in doling out
that hysterical laugh...😳😳

IF Tamil Serials' Fans' Lounge.

The lounge lacks its usual madness - the turn out is less and those
who have come are also sober.

Sue's computer staged a strike - " if u are smart, I am smarter,
I have been working for u non stop and u never gave me my
well deserved rest, so here u go" Sue tried to cajole, plead, beg .
umhummm computer said " podi podi pokke, ellu kattukku
thekke" So, now Sue is running behind a tech who dodges her
with his "itho, I am on my way" and after 1 hr again another
"on my way" excuse.

Jas came to know about this strike and is fuming - "computer
kooda leave podarathu, enakku maattum ipdi moochu vida
neram illame velaiyaa??? grrr" Ho is the one who shows
some happiness on her face - "my vaathu is well on her way
to graduating..even Roja appreciates....." She wrote a
congratulatory note to Ekta Kapoor. Kutty Simbha is tired -
he has to update Kolangal and Thols has brought some new
characters to justify "Operation theethu kattu Menu" -
half the IF ians do not follow the story and have thrown
their hands up in desperation!! Kavi is playing kanna moochi
re re re -

Giri is kind of settled - new house - RTO office..... .
plumber.... painter.....association meeting.......aanandam
updating .... "ennavO ponga Roja akka , eppo varuvaro
enthan kali theera..." Suram has an opportunity to play
Kovai Sarala once again - "snehidaneyy snehidaneyyy"
that is Suram learning that song to 'oda oda virattufy"
the likes of aachi Manorama and Shriya. ...Eljay is back
but she won't be here for some more time - "kitchen aa
ithu??? ennathaan pannin nangalo inge??? parak parak
parak.." that is Eljay mopping her floor with a small
rumbam attached to the mop - "surandi thaane edukkanum
intha dirt ai!!!"

Fluidd, Meli, Niti, Kadhu,Caryn, Usha, Nallu and Netra - are
seated in a corner and keep darting expectant glances at the
lounge door. Fluidd has some thing hanging from her ear -
oh mobile phone!!! and at the other end of the mobile... vera
yaaru... Ram Kumaraa Ram Kumaara US eppo varuvai
nee... Veedu maathi veedu maathi ready aa irukkaal Fluidd
thaan" - Aalavanthan style dialogue by mad Rojaa... All
are ready in their long flowing evening gowns..... for some
this will be the first trip to the heaven... the first timers are
asking doubts and the experienced ones are explaining.

Lounge door bangs....... oh yes, Maddie is in ...... holding a
file in her hand.... Nallu gives a side long sly look..... "inge
CK ezhutharathu porathunnu ange vanthum ezhutha
poringalaa??" Roja has her mad gleam in place and looks
at Nallu ..Nallu shrugs... "vara vara manasile yethanum think
pannina kooda Roja akka kandu pidichidaraanga.... yethanum
mind reading class porangalo??" ..another knowing smile
from Roja and Nallu hurriedly clears her mind of any thoughts......

Even the banging of the lounge door did not disturb the rest
and so the "nava grahangal" adjourn to the terrace. Niti
snatches the mobile from Fluidd -" hey apram peasalaam,
ippo Roja akka pinnadi nikkalaam" Roja raises a brow at
Nallu who gives the thumbs up - " namba song solli kuduthu
aachu, rules and regulations solliyaachu.... all set" Another
smile from Roja at Nallu - this time it is a benevolent one.....
.... Roja leads...... the rest queue behind ....holding on to the
dress of the person in front... Caryn is asked to be the tail
of the queue as she has flown once to the heaven..... 1... 2... 3..
.... the group once again defies Newton and his Physics.........
JAXA, NASA ESA, ISRO and RKA - have no clue about this
space mission - they thought that the IF ians have finished all
their space journeys and did not expect any further turbulence
in their researches....... 9 blips passed through the radars of
RKA ...... but there is no one to notice............

Part 2

The IF ians reach the gates of the heaven - St.Peter has
one look at the group and lets out a long sigh - "hmmm when
they were here last time, Newton went underground and
MS Subbulakshmi followed suit..but the rest of the sorga
vaasis did have a good time...should I warn Newton???"
As he turns to go in and look for Newton, Roja tugs at his
robe and gives a pleading look " please Father, I have to
meet him this time, please do not send out a caution..."
St.Peter shrugs.." as long as it is not me who is at the
receiving end...." he floats away.

Roja opens her file and distributes some photographs. Caryn
shows surprise but when she looks at the photo she could not
help patting Roja on her shoulders - yes,Roja has collected
Vinu's snap and made it easy for identification. Fluidd has a
secret smile on her face - which gets translated as -"namba
thaan Vinu vai parthathu illai, aana swarga vaasis are
omnipotent, omnipresent aache, won't Vinu find us??"

Niti is puzzled - "adeyappa.. ithuthan heaven aa?? beautiful...."
she nudges Caryn and expresses her total appreciation - Caryn
acts as if it is she who master minded the construction of the
heaven - Meli voices her opinion - "Roja sis, Vinu will find us,
why carry this snap?" Roja smiles at Meli kutty "precisely
sweet heart, ithunga thollai thaangame thaane inge vanthen,
ippo ingiyum vanthuttangalennu odi poitta??" Nallu's eyes
brighten up " ada ipdi oru angle irukka??? namakku thonaliye!!"
- just to get that knowing smile again from maddie.

Caryn takes the lead and divides the members in to 2 groups
- one will be led by Nallu and the other will be led by Caryn
herself. It is decided that once Vinu is sighted, the song will
be sung and the rest should float towards the direction of the
song. Roja whispers some thing to Nallu and Caryn and
vichuk vichuks some where. Niti looks lost -"ayyo Roja
akka enge poraanga??? eppo varuvaanga??" Caryn comforts -
"do not worry, Niti all in place and u will be back home to
feed dinner to your son, enjoy this now, ok??"

Fluidd is looking at mobile - longing look - the screen has a
smiling RamKumar - "Ram, honey moon nnu oru heaven
ponome, athai vida ithu nalla edamaa irukku, neenga mattum
inge irunthaal...hmmmm" suddenly some one blows hot air
on her back....awwwwww what a surprise.... a smiling Ram
hugs Fluidd and winks.... Fluidd stutters and stammers...
" neenga .... inge ,,,,epdi??" Ram says that visa is needed
only to come to the US - "inge no problem..Roja sent me a
H(eaven) mail and sent me a route map ..so here I am,
pOvOmaa Oorkolam" both hold hands and follow Nallu.

Kadhu is looking around with interest - "time zone problem
laam illai, stars meet ai inge vaichidalaama??" Netra has
forgotten her back pain -"hiii jolly , inge nadakka vendaam...
just floating thaan.... what if I develop some pain?" Caryn
plays comforter again -: this is no pain, no unhappiness, no
negative stuff zone baby, relax"

Usha looks around - " any chance of meeting the
great Chithraguptha?? these days I do not have time
to innovate new punishment techniques..." Nallu says
that Mr.C.Gupthan is always in the hell - "not much
work here for him, lets see if he pays some unscheduled
visit, ok?' Meli's eyes are hunting for Vinu - photo... look
at the floating crowd... photo..look out.... -

well, where is Roja??? Hope she is not going to do some
thing disastrous and make St.Peter impose a ban on the
IF ians ..never again to the heaven.... Roja is hunting for
Mr.Newton .. the target of Roja's attack is oblivious to
the impending danger..... Mr.Newton is busy in the Physics
lab... he is on to some thing new and is happy that this
invention of his will not be defied....he trusts the swarga
vaasis 100% ... no one will dare defy......hopes Mr.Newton
hopes.... well that is what keeps every one going.. u are no
exception..... but.....hmmmmmmm Rojaaa is here......

Part 3 ( wanted to finish but no.. let us have some more fun..
we need to cheer up and Jas thanks for the suggestion)

Newton is busy and he suddenly finds a shadow falling on him - he
is shocked - his Physics is being defied in the heaven as well???
People have no shadows here as there is no such thing as day or night!!!! He smells trouble and bingo...... he sees mad Roja -
Roja gives him one of those trade mark asattu sirippus - the
one she reserves for needy times ... the one which turns in to a
mad gleam and later in to a hysterical laughter ....once her
mission is accomplished......Newton hurriedly hides his papers
and looks at Roja questioningly... " you?? again?? hope u wont
start singing?? Roja continues with her asattu sirippu.. she can
not promise on that singing part.... she is sure to hear that song
any time soon... and she is obliged to sing.... To spare Newton
of his misery , Roja goes near him and mumbles.... Newton's
face shows utter shock ... "uh huh... how do u.... don't tell me
that...u have some one....." Looks at Roja's face and knows
that his fate is sealed... reluctantly agrees to Roja's suggestion.
Newton explains what ever Roja needs to know. Roja is attentive ..totally...he also issues some warnings,Roja nods her head.
Finally Newton says "this time around maddie , do not even
dream of messing up, got it?? if u do any thing out of turn....
even God can not help you..inge mandaiyai mandaiyai aattittu apramaa yethanum thirisamam pannalamm nnu plan pannathey,
ok?" Now Roja does not hesitate to promise - she has no plans
of flouting any rules!!!!

Just then the IF song wafts through the air..Newton is hurrying
to his cave... plans to pick up MSS enroute... but makes sure to
give some papers to Roja and raises his right index finger in
caution. Roja carefully collects the papers, sings back and floats towards the direction of the song (noise??).

Vinu has been found and every one is trying to talk at the same time.Niti cries...Fluidd introduces Ram....Kadhu, Netra and Usha
are just holding Vinu's hands...Vinu is crying and laughing at
the same time... "Rojakka varaliyaa??' Just then Roja wafts in....
has a very intent secretive look.... gives a hug to Vinu and
whispers some thing in to her ears..."Rojakka enna kindalaa??
athu epdi mudiyum??" Roja has a floating meeting with Vinu,
Nallu and Caryn - Caryn manages to compose herself but Nallu
can not close her mouth...The group is gathered and quietly
asked to descend to IF Yesssssss..... Roja managed to smuggle
Vinu out of the heaven for a day with the help of Mr.Newton
and yesss...Mr.newton's new research is about the two way
traffic - earth - heaven -earth ..round trip....

Part 4 and yes it is the final one.

Jas gets a sms in her mobile - she reluctantly reads - "eppo
parthaalum asking for Indian food mannagatti hmmm" -
her eyes brighten ...she lets out a war cry heyyyyyyy and
the sleepy lounge wakes up with a start ..every one gathers
around Jas the dazz... Jas bites her lip and issues hurried instructions.." we have a visitor, a VIP ..coming soon.. let us
decorate the lounge, quick quick" Ho hovers around for some
more info but none is forth coming - Jas is busy ..has to call all
the members who are not present .. a call to Vinu's son and hubby
as well. Roja has asked her to make Atina's room ready so that
Vinu can have some quality time with her son and hubby - " looks
like she had to leave suddenly and did not have time to tell them
all that she had in mind.."

The lounge is teeming with members..every one is present
Seeing Jas' enthusiasm every one knows that the VIP is some
one really precious ... the terrace shakes with the landing of
nava grahas... only there is a 10th planet well hidden by the
rest!!! Vani and Giri hurry with the harathi thattu.... Jas dims
the terrace lights..still not sure about what is happening...
or is it all a dream... she pinches Ho who screams ..oh yes, it
is no dream NO it is not.... yesss Vinu walks in to the lounge
amidst thunderous applause....

Kadhu gets out of her long gown in a jiffy, collects Vani, Nallu,
Giri, Suram - starts dancing for apdi podu podu podu, asathi
podu kannale and ushers Vinu in to the lounge. Kavi comes
running with some coffee for all and checks with Vinu "lunch ,
dinner kku ennallam venum, will cook in a jiffy - u will be with
us for the whole day illiya?" Atina rushes in to see Vinu. Eljay
has postponed her " operation kitchen cleaning" - "it is fun
time and I do not want to miss out" - Vinu is seated in the
center flanked by her son and hubby on either side.

Fun and frolic session starts - Ho, Sue and Jas are singing -
" Kanda naal muthalay kathal peruguthadi" Suram shouts
" Jazzuuu nadaiyai maathu" - Jas quickly changes to "ennadi muniyamma, un kannule maiyi, yaaru vaicha maiyi athu na
vaicha maiyi" Kutty Simbha, Sri, Meli and Jenim join the
fray - semai kutthattam happens. Kavi comes running from
the kitchen hearing this song - does a jingu chikku jingu chikku
with Sri and Kutty Simbha

Vinu is laughing her heart out. Netra hits Caryn -"naanum
aaduven, ennai ethukku ipdi katti pottinga??" Caryn is
unrelenting "kolai vizhum, just sit and watch, I gave my
word to your hubby that you will be taken care of" Netra
pouts, Caryn ignores. Pat and Supree are looking for
another song

Lo and behold..... the speakers dole out "dilamo dilamo
dila dila dilamo" Roja dances with vigor.... the IF ians
are stunned... one could never blame Roja of such a
skill.... 😳😳😳 she sings alright but never once has
danced....The whole lounge jumps in to dance for the
song....Vinu is still laughing ... tears streaming from her
eyes... Kutty Simbha can not contain himself... twirls
Roja around.....

Roja signals some thing to Giri and Nallu - Vinu is taken to
Atina's room along with her hubby and son.. great aroma
wafts out of Kavi's kitchen..... Lounge is happy...all are
dancing still... Netra stretches her legs and watches all the fun.... Kadhu is jumping.....

Well folks... let Vinu spend time with her family.. Roja will
take her back to the heaven when it is time... until then it
is David Bowie " lets dance.. put on your red shoes and
dance your blues.. lets dance..... "

Not bad, Roja ..once in a while even Roja keeps her promise
what say folks???😳😳

Jollympics Part 1
( Roja has no clue as to how many more will follow - start praying folks...it can do wonders)

IF Tamil Serials' Fans' Lounge.

The lounge is teeming with members. Ever since Roja
announced Jollympics, the guessing game is in full swing.
Those who had booked their tickets to Beijing are in two
minds - one section is worrying about the recent earth quake
and its aftermath and the other faction is encouraging with -
" scared??? but why??? we are all used to the combined effect
of tornadoes, hurricanes and tsunamis - in one Roja!!" This
is the most convincing, sane argument - "that is true, if we can
survive Roja , nothing else can be scarier" - However, all are
ready to participate in Jollympics -" a rehearsal is always useful".

Hosanna is sitting in one corner - the euphoria of being voted
as the "Teacher Idol" is waning. Jas, Giri, Caryn and Sue made
sure to give a bit of each of their minds on her suggestion to
maddie - " You just make a fleeting remark about Beijing
Olympics and see where we stand!!!! Your students dote on
you and we are sure that they would have pooled in to buy a
ticket for you to Beijing!!! If u had told us that u wanted to
see the Olympic games, we could have gifted u a ticket!!" Ho
is at a loss for words. There is no way she can make maddie
reconsider her decision - the mad gleam was so obvious in her
eyes " awwwww the willing victims" -

Nallu is on the other side surrounded by Kadhu, Vani, Netra
and Suram - we hear Nallu getting a nice archanai in the
chaste Madras slang Tamizh , Suram is livid with anger -
" innamme , unukku yenna apdi oru kozhuppu?? Roja
akka, missssssing your CK - thevaiya ithu unukku???
thoda, antha kirukku ippo kanganam kattikinu alaiyuthu,
neechalaam, running aam...ayyo , un moonjile yen peechang
kayai vaikka" - Nallu blinks " I live here in Madras but still
can not decipher what Suram wants to convey!!" Both Kadhu
and Netra decide to watch first. Innocent Vani is all game -
" just some running and swimming, why do u guys fret like
this?" Kadhu says that Roja akka talked about special rules
for the games " avanga brand rules aam!!! athan konjam
bayama irukku".

Eljay looks determined - " whatever it is, I am just going to
observe. I am just out of my bed and no maddie can put me
back there" - little does she know that maddie has her eyes
on the normal seats!!! Niti is resting in one corner - " I will
offer to assist Roja akka as a referee, that way I can be by
her side and avoid any calamities" - Niti is getting smarter
by the day , if u can not avoid play along ....

Fluid has a hot pack on her face - the infection is receding
now. She wanted to stay home but maddie called her making
some promises. Fluid knows that Roja's promises mean
nothing but still obliged. Serial is more regular these days -
she plans to join the games - " the least I can do is to share
the agony..considering the fact that Roja is the organiser.."

Meli, Usha, Kutty Simba and Sri look more relaxed - they
have finished their exams and all set for a session of games.
Usha wants to know if there will be a game on inventing
new punishments. Meli looks interested in that option -
'Thols needs some more new ones, that Anthony is useless.
.hmmm" Atina has promised to join. She had to shell out a
large sum from the IF fund - for prizes and she is skeptical
about the choice of prizes - Roja will get them ready " hmmm,
precisely the reason for my worry".

Suddenly Giri decides to check out the swimming pool. The
pool looks normal , no special preps...nothing unusual.........
Calls Nallu outside and asks her if she knows anything at
all about Jollympics - Nallu rolls her eyes - "believe me
Giri, I tried to sneak in but Roja akka is unrelenting!!"

The lounge waits..... in anticipation.... maddie is still missing......
Ho has an expectant look ..."oh is it possible that Roja
decided to spare us all?? some last minute empathy towards
her fellow IF ians??" well, no one can stop hopes and dreams.......

Roja as usual bangs the lounge door and announces her
arrival... Ho's hopes are shattered...Nallu frets some more....
"ayyo enakku nakkile Saniswaran , went for a pilgrimage
but what is the use?.." Suram darts another angry glare at
Nallu. Netra closes her eyes - Poonai kannai moodinaal
Bhoologam asthamichu pogumaa?? Niti and Vani run to Roja .....

Roja smiles benevolently at her fellow members - "hey folks,
we will just have one race , nothing more, ok?? And before I
describe the race, let me tell you about the prizes - The first
prize is a week's stay in Beijing for 2 during Olympics -
tickets, boarding and lodging + 500 US$ for shopping"
Atina gasps for breath...." well the money I gave will not
take care of such extravagance !!" Roja avoids looking
at Atina but perceives her concern..has her mad gleam
in place and now Atina sighs.."am sure that all is not black
and white...hmm there is nothing much I can do now, any-
ways" The members are excited about the prizes. "Now
on to the second prize, one week resort stay for 2 at
Cameroon highlands, all inclusive and the 3rd prize is
a 50 inches Panasonic Plasma TV - happy?" The lounge
explodes with applause. Even those who are in two minds
about participating are reconsidering their decisions. Nallu
and Hosanna give a triumphant look - "but for our initiative,
can u all ever think of such an opportunity??and that too in
just one race!!!"

Caryn, the cautious, is not convinced and Jaz the Dazz
shares her sentiments - ' we shall wait until all is spelt out"
Sue is on their side. Eljay refuses to bite the bait - "none
of these are worth jeopardizing my health" Netra looks
tempted , takes a quick peep at Caryn's face ..Caryn rolls
her head in all directions and raises her index finger
"tholaichiduven.. " Netra decides to boycott the game
"chee chee intha pazham semai pulippu... 😳😳😳but I love
pulippu now😔" The rest are all extremely enthusiastic. Suram
is ready to forgive Nallu.....

Ho: "Beijing...here I come..."
Vani: "Cameroon Highlands...hmmmm will be a good time
to visit... for 2??? who can come with me?"
Suram redecorates her drawing room in her mind ..
"50 inches??? wall mounting? should check out with hubby.."
Giri gives a confident smile -" nalla kaalam new house
kku TV puthusu vaangalai...50 inches....great"

Roja looks around and sees that all are excited by the prizes.
Asks Niti to write down the names - the IF ians never learn..
Roja is yet to spell out the details of the race!!! The members
sign up ...in some thing which looks like an indemnity bond...
no one bothers to read ..... Except Eljay,Netra, Jas and Caryn
all have signed up. Roja winks at Jas and requests her to
assist. Caryn has the monumental responsibility of containing
Netra - "shhh sit quietly, ok??/"

"Ok, now to the details of the race - It is a tetrathalon
race Tetrathalon - skiing, mountain biking, kayaking and
running - just 4 only ....Ho interjects "Roja u said just one
race but now u are extending?" An innocent Roja answers
"yes Ho, it is just one race with 4 components" Doubt and
fear written large on most of the faces..... Giri and Nallu
exchange a wicked glance .."skiing aa?? ingeya?? the
title maddie is justified..." Roja throws her usual mind
reading look at both and the gleam in her eyes is electrical....
Ho , Serial and Niti want to withdraw their names but Roja
points out that once signed on the dotted lines, no one can
withdraw - the penalties are monumental!!! Giri and Nallu
pass around a chit -" skiing in the lounge?? not possible.
First let her get the skiing track, then we will worry" - the
members see the point and inform Roja that they are ready
for the race.

Roja takes out some thing from her handbag...oh my God ...
looks like she stole the magic powerhouse stone from
Prakash Raj....in spite of the fact that he secured it in
his kurtha pocket with stitches all around!!! Nallu and
Giri pale....and gasp..... Roja flicks her fingers.....and God.
.. the lounge is transported to Mount Teta in Argentina...
Eljay can feel her seat shaking, holds on to the handle
and stares at Roja..if only looks could kill....😳
The skiing gear is all ready -all squeeze themselves in to
the gear... and get ready for the first leg... Suram mutters
some thing under her breath and Nallu quickly turns away...

Roja claps her hands and says " Ok folks just a 10km skiing..
.and bingo... u are all set for the biking.😳😳 Every one
looks tentatively at the range which looks absolutely
innocent and secluded - looks like Roja managed to make
an exclusive reservation for the IF ians!!!! Nallu and Giri
hold hands but Roja dispels any such support - " no holding
hands, no talking and no asking for directions" Pat starts
giggling - she is reminded of a blond joke "jiloo nnu irukku,
yaar kitte direction kekka??"Sue starts skiing first and
we hear her screaming "yeeyyy who pushed me???" - she
is going down at break neck speed and does not get to see
the mad gleam of Roja/ Jas the Dazz is shocked..she did
see Roja pushing Sue!!! Jas asks Roja about any one
loosing their way - "what if all of them do not reach the
park at the base?? Roja shows her the power stone and
smiles. The IF ians are skiing...have no clue as to when
and where it will end.....

Roja does another flicking the fingers ...Jas, Eljay, Caryn
and Netra find themselves seated at the base park.
Eljay's chair shakes in all directions and Caryn brings
a seat belt from somewhere for Eljay -Eljay shouts
"Roja , u crazy nut, will u stop this shaking?" Roja says
that the chair is on a timer control and will stop only
when the timer is off. A furious Eljay wants to know the
duration of the timer but Roja just shrugs "aww for a few
more hours".......

After what seemed ages ( actually after 6 hours) the first
head to be seen is Hosanna. Jas is thrilled and shouts out
to Ho. Ho is pale and exhausted but glad to see the signs
of life....she removes her skies and Roja shows the mountain
bike. "not now Roja..come what may.." Roja is yet to tell
them the distance for biking!!!! One by one every one lands
and finally Vani lands....Nallu is happy that she is not the
last and makes fun of Vani. Vani says that she wanted to
enjoy Mother nature and so took some well organized
detours ....." I lost my way nnu sollikka, I am not mad..."
The mountain biking has to start.... the bikes, helmets
and the gears are all ready. The reluctant IF ians get ready
for the next lap.."ah, just a 10km stretch...mountain trail..
.ups and downs... lots of water falls on the way....can assure
u all of some beautiful landscape...." Roja gloats and Usha
is angry " forgot to raid Roja's ammunition corner, che I
should have brought some thing ..." Roja once again lists
the prizes and all start cycling...

Roja flicks her fingers and the non players reach the lake -
where kayaking is scheduled. Jas and Caryn are doing
some calculation..."how many will survive the biking?"
Caryn opines that she honestly did not expect to
see all back from the skiing "who knows we might see
them all at the lake.....in good time" Minutes tick by...
to hours.....to a day...... 36 hours are gone and not one
has reached the park!! Jas is now enraged - she does
not know to whom she should vent out "Ho Ho, u finish
the bike ride and come, I have some thing waiting.."
Darts an angry look at Roja who is busy eating some
roasted hazel nuts...Eljay is still shaking...Caryn gave
up her vigil on Netra and slept under a tree....Netra
tries to walk around ...goes to Jas to hold hands... she is
terrified "Jas, what if our friends do not surface soon???"
Roja looks absolutely calm...Jas grinds her teeth so
hard that some white powder is coated on her lips......

Part 3 - final part

Jas is restless - In all these 36 hours , she did not sleep
a wink - Even Eljay slept for a while, she got used to the
shaking which almost felt like a cradle!!! Jas shouts at
Roja " Roj..enough is enough, get that power stone of
yours and see where every one is. Roja is still very cool
- she probably sneaked and knows where exactly are
the IF ians!!! The water from the lake gently slaps the
shore and Caryn gets up. Eljay wakes up as well in the
shaking chair , gives a sheepish smile and tells Jas
" summa solla koodathu, kutti pappa thooli le thoongina
mathiri, I slept very well."

Jas is not in a mood to share that enthusiasm but is happy
to have company - all go to Roja and demand to know
about the others. Roja gives them 2 options - "you all
want to go where they are or u want all of them to come
here?" Jas and Caryn share a sharp glance - "now what
is this?? we opted out of the Jollympics and now join the
rest???" They quickly consult with Netra and Eljay.. Netra
is all smiles.." hiyyaa right under Caryn's nose, I can
experience the race" ...Eljay couldn't care less - " my
shaking chair and me go together? fine by me" Caryn plays representative and tells Roja that the first option is ok -
" we go to them" Roja has a very wicked smile and flicks
her fingers...Bingo all find themselves in a cave in the
biking trail!!

It is a beautiful cave but looks like a 5 star hotel. Again
there is no one other than the IF ians!!! There is no sign
of the mountain bikes!!! Giri and Nallu are in the pool -
swimming - the water is lukewarm and inviting. Atina is
resting by the pool side. Serial and Meli are munching
roasted cashew. Fluid is totally out of the infection - the
mountain weather agrees very well with her. Ho and Sue
are chatting in Malay.

Kutty Simba and Usha are dancing for the song
"palakkattu pakkathile oru appavi raja" Niti, Kadhu
and Vani are playing rummy. Suram is writing some thing -
from the way her lips move, one can find out that it is all
in Sundara Madras tamizh!!!

Jas is shocked to see all the members relaxing - Caryn
shakes her head to clear the cobwebs - "how did I not
guess this??? and Roja always calls me smart and
cautious!! well, coming from that maddie, guess the
compliment has its own intonation" Eljay is still shaking
in the chair ...Nallu wants to have a shaking session but
Eljay refuses to part with her chair!!!

Jas and Caryn approach Roja - menacingly " hey maddie,
u owe us an explanation..right NOW" All gather around
..Giri and Nallu take position right behind Roja ..."if any
one dares to lift a little finger....against Roja akka.... we
will protect ..." Roja has her mad gleam ...more intense
now..... " Ok, from the time I saw that movie "Kadavul
in room no 305" I had my eyes on this stone. At the end
of the movie, Prakash Raj will visit another guy who shouts
out for help but will have his kurtha pocket stitched all around.
I thought about it and had a plan. I also shouted for
kadavul and Prakash Raj came down to meet me in the
lounge. I had a similar kurtha ready for him .... now u know
how I swapped kurthas!! The only thing I wanted to check
out was about how sportive our members are. So, I decided
to have the first leg of skiing as a original sport. Netra and
Eljay had reasons for skipping it but Jas and Caryn wanted
to play safe!!!

I had this cave all organized with food and all luxuries
So the moment all started biking , I made sure to get
them in here and they have been relaxing for the past
36 hours!!!" Jas and Caryn are livid with anger. "So,
what took u so long to get us here??" Roja's gleam is
now changing colors - rainbow colors - " aww, when all
of them were put to some test, u both want to escape???
The wait of 36 hours was your first test. And when I gave
u the 2 options, if u had chosen to get the members there,
u would have missed seeing the cave...good that you are
this sportive...at least"

Kadhu is particular about the prizes.. "ella prize aiyum
thaniyasurutta plan pottu irukken, Beijing Olympics,
Cameroon Highlands, Plasma TV.....???" Roja gives a
smile which says "ada asadu, kaile kadavul power stone
irukku, why worry?"

Atina has all her doubts cleared but just needs one
clarification -"Roja , why did u make me part with
such a big sum from the IF fund?? Roja has a reply
ready " aww, Atina, since I wanted the skiing leg
to be original, I paid the money for that alone"
Atina is near fainting - "all of it?" Roja just smiles
and Atina knows that it is futile to ask for any thing
more.

Suddenly Eljay's chair stops shaking and she screams -
"Roja hey kirukku Roja, I want my chair to shake
some more..." Jas and Caryn start chasing Roja in circles
- they can not help it, they are so used to the serials running
in circles!!! - Roja laughs hysterically.... the laughter echoes
in the cave... the IF ians are used to it by now and so are unperturbed.... the laughter is so powerful that it brings
some mountain bears and monkeys in to the cave to break
the exclusivity......Roja is still laughing...hysterically....
the mountain bears look as if they have been struck by
some tornado.... awww yes, Roja is a bundle ....of all
the calamities .... 😳

IF Tamil Serials' Fans' Lounge.

Again full attendance - Ho, Supree and Kavi are on a holiday. Meli
looks very happy - habba exams are over - but the idea of up-dating
Kolangal again is unwelcome -"what if Eashu kicks the bucket???
field day for OQ!!" - Sri, Usha and Simba kutty are also more
regular - all of them are now " untied monkeys"😳

Caryn looks extremely relaxed - she does not have to keep an eye
on Netra today - Mr.Netra , who is pretty adept at that job will
relieve Caryn. Jas is busy but Roja has asked her to take over the kitchen. Caryn offered to help - " store is well stocked, eh??? let
us roast some cashew Jas, what say?" Jas could not find a better
option😳 So some munching is happening full time and the cooking
is incidental. Nallu and Kadhu are sulking - they were sent to the kitchen -unceremoniously - by Roja - following a complaint from Netra.
Netra made sure to call Roja during lunch and told her that the two
imps are gunning at her. Nallu recalls the baby shower of Rhodes and
wants to know if any cake is being made specially. She runs behind
Jas - doing all errands in the hope of unearthing any secret kitchen plans. Jas has a wicked smile and makes Nallu wash the rice 8 times!!
" More u wash , all the carbs will be removed!!" Kadhu is suspicion
personified. Tows Nallu wherever she goes 😳😳

Serial , Niti, Suram and Vani are planning some games - Vani is
out to take revenge on Roja - "ayyo da , skiing aam!!! I could see
nothing but ice and had no clue as to how to reach the base!!! Mother
Nature....enjoying nnu reel vittu thappichitten, Roja akkkaaaa" -
She asks Suram to plan some thing which will immobilize Roja for
a while.

Eljay is happy with her shaking chair - she is so used to it that these
days she transports it to home in her car - the chair travels from the
lounge to the house - non stop!! She managed to unravel the secret of
the timer and put it on constant mode😳😳.

Sue still has a bandage in the leg - she was told by Jas that it was Roja
who pushed her down - Sue's eyes blazed then but she is camouflaging it now - has a golden gleam which matches her bangles and other gold on her body - talk about Mallu and Golden girl - some link there, eh??

Fluid is still unwell but did manage to come to the lounge - she had
to show her b'day gifts to all - and some fun would be nice too!!!
Well Roja is missing as usual but what about Giri??she too is not
around!!! Now all know that the evil duo is back in action -

Netra's hubby is a regular in IF but has made sure to hide himself -
today he has to face the gang and the idea gives him the jitters -
he tried to avoid coming but Netra convinced him -" if u come to
the lounge today, I won't bug you for movies - for 2 whole weeks
no movies, say what?" He could not decide which option is worse -
" 2 weeks no movies?? aww, no cinema queues, Netra won't hurry me up and fall on her back in the bargain.....no hospital...no worries...
but spend a few hours with the likes of Roja??? hmmmm" Finally
Netra told him that Roja has already picked up Lavi and Kavi
from the school - " they are going to spend a whole afternoon with Roja
akka, so we can have some time alone after work and then go the lounge.... pregnant woman aasai patta seyyanum theriyuma??"
Mr.Netra pales -" ennathuuuuu? one whole afternoon with Roja
vaa??? unakku enna kirukka??? ayyo, rendum thirmbi varache
epdi varumO?" He agrees to come to the lounge just to rescue his
twin daughters from Giri and Roja😳😳

Kitchen is sending out mixed aroma...... Lounge is getting decorated....
Sri is doing some banner...( aww some more banner ..... Sri???😳😳)
Giri walks in - after a long time we see her trade mark jasmine garlands hanging from her ears..summer is here....Madurai malli
is plenty.... well, we see Lavi and Kavi also with her..with garlands
hanging from their ears as well.... both the girls are happy to be
away from the watchful eyes of their parents.... Giri is very fond of
baby girls .... the combo is absolutely electric. The lounge door bangs
oh yes, maddie is here 😳😳 and has orchid garlands hanging from her ears.... looks at Giri and both exchange a knowing smile .... wait wait....who is that little boy??? awwwww Roja has brought her neighbor's son- Jinnu - with her - in her own words - the kid who could ignite an iceberg - the fellow has roving eyes "lift irukka??? kitcat??? .." Giri darts a look at the lift lobby and sighs - ayyo da..... cannot lock the lobby today..." asks Roja about the presence of Jinnu - Roja just winks....😳😳 well, all wait for Mrs and Mr. Netra......

The three kids have become good friends - it is an amazing trait in children - Jinnu wanted jasmine garlands to hang from his ears as well - since there was no spare garland, Lavi gave away one of hers - Giri started calling up some one for more garlands -" Roja akka , 2 pothumaa??"

- Jinnu walks straight in to the kitchen...goes to Jas...extends his palms....this fellow is a kid of few words...he just believes in action!! Jas gives some cashew nuts and he throws them back at her - Roja walks in hurriedly - gives him some kitcat and leaves behind some in the kitchen - " when he asks, just make sure to give him this, he fancies nothing else!!" Nallu and Kadhu exchange looks - " ahaaa , why did Roja akka bring this fellow?? Looks like Jas knows some thing??!!!" Nallu starts washing some more rice!!!

Netra wades in followed by hubby - he looks around like a warrior looking for hidden mines - " yethu eppo vedikumO?? enna da ithu enakku vantha sothanai?" - He nudges Netra -" yeey, muthalle namba pasanga enge nnu kelu - kannuliye kaanume?" Netra has decided to take it easy - " aww, they will be around, Giri and Roja akka will take care " - Mr.Netra is livid - "athu thaane problem!!!"

The three kids walk in and they look as if they have just had a mud bath - behind them Giri walks in carrying a few clay dolls - " Roja akka, enna imagination paarungalen!!! Namba show case le vaichudalaam, what say??" Roja jumps from her seat... stamps Mr.Netra's foot....does not even say a sorry... goes to admire the dolls - the 3 kids look as if they have just recreated Ajantha/Ellora. Mr.Netra rubs his big toe and looks at Lavi's frock - "hmmm pona birth day kku vaanginathu!!! ippo enna color nnu kooda theriyalai!!!" - Lavi's eyes are gleaming.....Jinnu goes straight to Mr.Netra who is shivering already.... sits on his laps..and smiles ..... Mr.N is enticed by the smile ..... "intha time namakku boy thaan, intha payyan mathiri sirichaa azhaga irukkum" - Giri smiles ..." awwwww , I know what runs through your mind now.....believe me... we have 2 of this kind....wait till u end up with one..."

The rest of the IF ians are chatting happily - Niti calls out for attention and wants to start the games -" except Eljay, Fluid and Netra, all have to participate, Ok??" - First game is pretty innocuous - crossing the River Jordan - since it is a walking game, Netra, Eljay and Fluid also participate. A carpet is spread on the floor..in the middle of the room... and all are asked to walk. All have to cross the carpet and when the music stops, who ever is on the carpet will be sent out. Things go smooth and Vani emerges as the winner. Jinnu waits for the game to get over ... he holds Lavi and Kavi on each side and lies on the dirty carpet - all three roll and some giggling is heard from inside the rolled carpet - Caryn unrolls and finds that the kids look like the Von Trapp kids - just after their tree climbing episode and get labeled as street urchins by their father!! - Mr.Netra sighs... well, this Jinnu's smile could be a facade..... hmmmm. By now every one in the lounge carries some kitcat with them - Jinnu has trained them well!!!
