The rest are back in the lounge glued to the TVs – Giri rolled on the ground kicking her legs and hands up in the air " vu vu vuvu.. Priya vai parthe aaganum vu vuvu…." Roja had to give in as she ran the risk of others imitating Giri. So she sent back Giri, Vinu, Fluidd, Ho, Sue, Vani, Suram, and the others to the earth – the lounge flew back to where it belongs. CTA came in a space shuttle when Roja sent a sos message to him. Nallu was not very happy about staying back –
" Agatha Christie and Erle Stanley Gardner level kku think panren!!! Perry Mason and Hercule Poirot are frequenting my dreams!!! Che, I asked for it, wanted to shadow Roja akka and look at the mess I am in!!! Once I am back in the lounge, I just follow Giri and Fluidd… " – mutters under her breath but never the less interested in the happenings .." adutha mystery le incorporate pannidalaama??" . Jas just loves the break – she has all her reading material on hand and is happy to be pouring over them. Kavi - aww, Annapoorani of IF- offered to stay behind just to make sure that her friends did not go hungry. She made an excellent filter coffee and gave every one!!! – CTA fell hook, line and sinker - made a mental note to give Kavi a gift of her life after he sorts out Roja's problem. Tamil and Pokkiri are getting to know Calasi better – He can teach Pokkiri a few lessons on " naughty, naughty and more naughty".

But, why was CTA summoned in such a hurry?? Well, when he developed this planet, he designed it to cater to the humans – the milieu is that of the earth.. Once Giri brought in the moony kid, Carmalajasugi Lazuli ( let us call him Calasi for short) – (if any one thinks of Indian railway and the calasi workers, the author is not responsible!!) it became imperative that he be housed in a place with the Moon atmosphere. He runs the risk of growing old if he stayed under the present conditions.. HAS had marked a few places for developing a capsule with all the amenities. That capsule had to be converted to the Moon atmosphere. So, CTA got to work and it took him a few hours to bring in the changes. Calasi got safely ensconced in to it and the rest heaved a sigh of relief. The reason for keeping Calasi back is simple – CTA wants to observe him for a while and check out the possibility of developing another new planet – he is almost certain that Saynotoserials is totally corrupted – IF ians are probably not the best subjects for such experiments!!!!

Calasi is singing inside "Anandam ithu aanandam, Penne ezhuthu puthu kolam ezhuthu, Poradu penne poradu, Bhoomikku mugavari pennale.. Senthamizh Selviyeeee" – medley of title songs. His eyes are sad
( athu sari, how did you know where his eyes are, Roja??? With so many colors, where is what nnu epdi therinjithu??) HAS is all motherly – constantly in conversation with him!! That kid is a force to reckon!!! He hears any language for 5 mins... bingo .. he starts speaking that language like a native!!! Jas tried to talk in Lunu but he gave her a
"I pity you" look and started talking poetic English!!! Anyways, coming back to the sadness in his eyes – "all the title songs target/glorify women!! I want to be a woman also" – Tamil has a knowing smile –
" Oh yes, I am ready to trade places with you, what say?" Roja pulls out the digital device and changes some frequency – Calasi
is angry now ( Oh, so that device is a mood changer??) He imitates Pokkiri now – " Tholsssss, unnai enna panrennu paaru… Anjali, Bharathiyaar perai yen di kedukkare?? Creep, vaathu kku enna bathil solla pore??? Arjun, villathi villa, itho varen da…" FWN smiles at Roja – " well, this is how it should work and now it is all yours.." Roja makes some more changes and Calasi rests peacefully.

Kavi gave him some Dhal payasam, he loved it and gave Kavi a sweet smile – Kavi is at a loss – 'Enna expression ithu??? Pidikkaliyo??" Calasi reads her mind , rolls over to her and shows his green side – Kavi is happy. Though no one is able to decipher his expressions, all warm up to him – well, glad that he is just 4 moon yrs old !!!!

Now, CTA is working feverishly – he has a major doubt and he wants to rule that out. He asks FWN to help him – They both work with a few hi-tech instruments which are connected to a LCD screen. Constant flips are seen, -some red, some green and some black – whenever CTA sees black flips he winces. ( I hope all of you remember Mr.Canseeall – I mean his looks – pls refer to page 8 of Archives of Cks by Roja, if u do not remember – CTA is just an younger version, minus the antennae and the fur on his body) His wincing lights up his skin like a glow worm. FWN immediately runs a scanner through him. The signals are stored in a file. CTA has a grave look.

CTA and FWN take an electronic sweep in their hands and sweep the planet for viruses. The infestation is monumental!!! CTA's pursed lips become invisible – looks like he pursed them some more and buried them inside his mouth!!! He calls his uncle Mr.C and informs him of the latest developments. Mr.C promises to arrive asap. Mr.C arrives – after the preliminary "hellos and how do u dos", he gets to work with CTA. His antennae are up and he touches the LCD screen with them ….. bingo…. We see the interview Thols gave in Aval Vikatan…. Lachu and Paro giving a satisfied smile when Tara and Saba get their sentence…… Arjun of Aanandam on the run… an intoxicated Nithi
speaking her mind to hubby Selva…..a very pregnant Akila wading around….. It is now confirmed that this planet can not be called Saynotoserials any more!! The constant thoughts about serials in the minds of IF ians resulted in this calamity!!!! CTA exchanges a meaningful glance with Mr.C who looks very tired and dejected.

Mr.C has forgotten to withdraw his antennae and the screen shows some more scenes …. and oh my God,that is Papa Lazuli with his cronies searching for Calasi……Calasi looks at papa in the screen and makes illegible noises!! . His native tongue is in full force…. The Lunu expert Jas is at a loss to understand the torrent…It is generally understood that Calasi wants to get back to his dad!!! Kavi sympathizes with him, " Roja akka, pillaiyai appa –amma kitte irunthu pirikkarathu romba paavam, vittudunga please" ( effect of watching vaathu serial regularly!!)

CTA asks FMA to take Calasi to his dad as he is in no mood for any further research. Calasi hugs every one at the same time – that is easy, he in the center and the rest around him - he does one roll and the hugging is done!!! He snatches Tamil's mobile and calls IF Tamil Lounge. Giri puts him on speakers. Calasi takes leave and promises to look up the lounge some time soon with his whole clan. Fluidd and Vinu cry…. HAS looks sad, Kavi packs some dhal payasam for his clan….. Mad Roja is mellowed down, well, kids always have that effect on her… finally Calasi leaves with FMA.

Mr.C tells Roja some thing .. she nods ..nods …nods.. FMA is back after handing back Calasi to his dad. She narrates the tearful farewell. Calasi has touched all the hearts with his colorful nature!!! CTA gives Kavi a small box with a pebble inside. Kavi is stunned," a pebble??
And what do I do with it???" Roja translates CTA's speech " Kavi he loves the way u cook. Your cooking is excellent as it is but if u just immerse the pebble once inside any of your dishes they will taste divine. Do not forget to remove the pebble, wash and keep with you always. He made this specially for you so that u can carry it wherever u go and cook!!" Kavi is emotional and touches CTA's feet. CTA blinks as he is not used to this custom but blesses Kavi all the same.

Well, it is time to get back to IF Tamil Lounge – CTA has promised to drop the IF ians on his way to Hahaha land.. All board the shuttle. Mr.C takes Roja to his cabin along with CTA – They are in discussion all through the journey…. Roja still has the mood changer… The three of them have a new plan now……… How is that going to affect the IF ians??? Looking at Roja's mad gleam it is obvious that the new plan would be as / more adventurous than the previous ones ….. Planet "Saynotoserials" will be donated to …who??? .. a whole lot of unanswered questions floating in the minds of IF ians but Roja is secretive and unperturbed….. Rojaaaaaaaaaaaa, nee eppo thirunthuve??? Looks like Calasi lent some of his colors to Roja … her eyes are gleaming in all shades……

IF Tamil Serials' Fans' Lounge.

We see some notice boards. They are full of announcements.
All are update schedules for different serials. Pokkiri managed
to make them glowing. He assigned one color for each member
and made a program to get the colors flash out as per the
schedule. Eljay just showed him one link to a magic pen and bingo….......he brought the globe in to the lounge!!! Roja gave
her blue eyed boy a big hug The members are happy about
the reminder service and things are in order now......Are they really????

Giri is pressing her tired feet. She has just finished walking
bare feet from Vandalur to Marina beach – ACD at last had
an action packed encounter episode and Giri had to fulfill
her prayer!!! Vinu is sitting by her side in a designer yellow
sari and pouring ice cold water on Giri's feet. Eljay throws
side long glances at Giri- - her mind is singing " nadaiya, ithu
nadaiya , oru oorvalam anro nadanthathu, kaala, ithu kaala
illai sakkaram vaicha ther aa??"

Ho and Sue have been very busy – Ho as an unfailing loyal
vaathu club member manages just to breeze in and get up-
dates on vaathu's "combuter" skills. Her mind is singing
"avar varuvaara?? Pathiyil paadathai vittu pona master varuvaara??"Maasu thanks Ho for expressing his mind
beautifully in a nutshell. Sue has been busy - as busy as
a bee – her analytical skills are rusting – vaathu is happy
with out Sue breathing on her back and Roja is not happy
about this – sent a sms to Sue - "Enough is enough, get your
act together and come back full time, ok?? Can not afford to
have a happy vaathu around and u must see athai of Megs –
she rocks of late!!! Almost reads Roja's mind and echoes
her words!!" – hope this message gets past Nair bhaiyya's
hands and reaches Sue with out any censoring!!

Meli at last managed to rope in Ginny for updating Anjali
but alas….her relief is short lived.. too many intrusions and
Ginny is only too happy to withdraw her offer!!! Can't blame
her, CJB can drive a saint to suicide!!! Jas went to Sun City
and came back - just to find that she was driven to K2 islands
by Nallu!! Right now she is just glad to be back in the lounge
– Oru Kolangal is maddening and a no 2??? Grrrrrr…..

Fluidd is busy with her computer – googling for old songs
- year, lyrics, writer and music composer – if one factor is
missing ….. Fluidd is back to page 1!!! Kavi is dishing out
the baklava, payasam, kozhukkattai and all the goodies
made after the encounter episode. She knows that Calasi
is expected to come to the lounge and wants to save every-
thing for him " paavam kozhandai, dhal payasam romba
pidichuthu athukku... ithuvum kudukkalam". Vani looks
at the dishes with longing eyes –"Kavi enakku??" Kavi shoo
shoos her" wait until our guests come, ok?"

Roja is pensive these days – very secretive and no one knows
exactly what she is up to!!! Giri has vowed to keep a closer eye
on her twin from now on " Roja akka is scheming. Saynotoserials
has now become Hellofserials!!! What does she want to do now?"
Giri had a skype chat with FWN and HAS at Hahaha land. They
both were very evasive in the beginning and later accepted that
they are in the dark them selves. " She came here during the week
end and had an in camera session with Mr.C and CTA – right now
CTA is not here. Is he in your lounge?" Giri is at a loss – " hmmm, Roja akka is not here as well, so, both must be together."
Both sides come to a pact – who ever gets any info promises to
keep the other posted.

Just then Calasi calls the lounge and Giri picks it up. He is
overjoyed to hear "Giri aunty's" voice – " aunty, I am bringing
my mom and dad to the lounge. Please make sure that Kavi
aunty is ready with all her special foods. My dad loves to
venture new cuisines and mom wants to learn some human
cooking…" he goes on and on. Giri is tempted to ask if Roja
is there with them but refrains from that impulse " what if she
is not there and Calasi gets all worked up??" Ends up showing
the right enthusiasm in her voice and welcomes the trio –" Calasi, chella kutty, seekiram ellarum vaanga, we are all waiting"

And, as usual ...where is Roja?? Why does she always do the disappearing act??? After the trip to K2 islands, she has
become madder than usual. Giri heard her muttering in her
sleep once " Kolangal part 2 vaa??? Menu.. Thols
Kku sistrer aa??? Grrr….. pathukkaren …. pathukkaren" .

The lounge waits – only this time it is not just for Roja –
for the Lazuli family as well.

Finally??? yes finally...

The lounge shakes a bit – yes, Calasi has arrived with his
parents. Their spaceship lands with a thud on the terrace.
The trio arrive clad in the earth suit designed specially for
their trip – The Moon scientists worked over time for this
invention - first ever reverse trip!!!! Calasi tells Vinu and
Fluidd that CTA is bringing 3 capsules – the one he made for
Calasi in Saynotoserials …. The thuppariyum sambus of IF
are alert immediately.. did he say "when CTA comes"???
today????? Wait… wait …. , how does Calasi know that he is
going to meet CTA??? So, there seems to be some kind of understanding……" Aanandam le unsolved cases ellam
list panninom nanga, ithu oru periya vishayama???" ….

Calasi rolls and rolls to hug every one – he seems brighter
and more colorful – Mama Laz is more of a pinkish blue signet
ring – with shades of yellow and purple interspersed. But
Papa Laz is…..amazing……. He has all the shades of colors
in him – whenever he turns or as much as rolls his eyes (???!!!)
colors flash out and blinds the eyes of the IF ians. Calasi
introduces one by one - dad and mom roll in different directions
and hug all. Mama takes out the chains with Lapis Lazuli
pendants and hands over to the members. Kavi brings out
all the food and the dining table gets attacked. The pebble
given by CTA has done wonders to Kavi's cooking – it is out
of the world – Papa Laz is rolling over from one dish to
another beating the velocity of light

Giri is sweating – Where is Roja?? And Calasi has not asked
about her even once??!!! Vinu murmurs some thing in to
Giri's ears…. Goli gundu eyes do a Megala act – saucers
spread out of their sockets!!! Giri sends Nallu to look out
for Roja. Nallu does not want to miss the sweets and so
makes sure to stuff her handbag with assorted stuff.

At last Roja storms in - her usual asattu sirippu is in place
but the IF ians are smarter now – appearances are totally
deceptive – CTA is right behind her. Calasi runs to her and
asks some thing in Lunu …andddd…. Roja answers in fluent
Lunu!!!! CTA joins their conversation .. the Lunu experts Jas
and Eljay are at a loss for alphabets.. …. sorry, words!!!!
Calasi takes out a small stone from his pocket (???!!) and
gives it to Roja. Roja is beaming, thanks Calasi and goes in
to Atina's room with CTA in tow.

Nallu and Jas run behind them and are in time to stop the
closing of the door. Giri roars " Roja akkaaaaa enakku
ippo oru ummai therinje aaganum. Intha suspense inimel
thaangathu, enna than nadakkarathu inge???" The rest
advance menacingly towards Atina's room and the lounge
plunges in to an eerie silence. CTA gives a meaningful look
at Roja… Roja sighs and nods……

"First things first – Planet Saynotoserials is infected totally
and so it is of no use to us. It has been donated to…." Suddenly
Calasi laughs his guts out……. Ooopps… Roja turns the dial
of the mood changer and Calasi is back to normal,. "well, where
was I?? Aww yes, the planet has been donated to CJB and Thols"

Whattttttttt??????? All the IF ians imitate Kalai family members
and qualify to gain entry into their inner circle – vera enna??
Saucers and side plates dazzling around..... But why donate to
Thols and CJB??? Roja is able to read the questioning looks
and says " Thols was well on his way to proceed with another
serial – the destruction of all his cds enraged him and he wanted
to take revenge. I got this info from Mdm.Dogoodtoall who
warned me during my week end trip. Her crystal ball was glowing
in red – hitting Tamil on the head when she asked about Kolangal ending was nothing, the ball was furious!!! So, I went to the planet Saynotoserials with Mr.CTA , made some changes in the
milieu, took some photographs and got an appointment with
Thols. At first, he refused to see me but he chanced seeing
Mr.CTA from his window and came down to meet us. .We gave
him a different version about the planet saying that he need
not have any satellite to beam his serials – automatic global
telecast is in-built nnu periya reel suthinom. He fell hook, line
and sinker. I am about to give u an inside info which will make
u all faint with fear!!! When we went to meet Thols he was in
story discussion with CJB!!!! Can u imagine the combination???
So we roped in CJB and both are in Saynotoserials right now."

The eerie silence first broke in to a chatter , proceeded slowly
to laughter and all started rolling on the floor laughing – except
….. the ever alert Caryn!!! " u donated it to those two sickos and
now what??? We still get to watch their serials right??? Free beaming??!! What is this Roja?? A punishment or a boon???"
The IF ians stop rolling on the floor... Papa Laz and Mama Laz
are still rolling .. thinking that it is some kind of a custom in earth...

Roja claps her hands and appreciates Caryn – " u never allow
a slip, do u?? yes, the cherry on the cake…… the changes
made by CTA before we met Thols – the planet has oxygen
only for 12 hours- both of them are hunting for locations there
and plan to call their actors only after 2 days – by which time,,
they will be dust…. history…..got it?" ROFL starts again
and Caryn joins as well...

" That done, now on to the mood changer – the stone that
Calasi brought has special magnetic powers – Mr.CTA will
incorporate the magnetism in to the mood changer and it will
be placed in our lounge – where no one can touch…" The IF ians
are all ears again… they chant in unison " Rojaaa... CTA.... Calasi….. Roja……CTA… Calasi…" Once the uproar gets abated, Roja
goes on "the mood changer can do two things – there will only
be laughter in the lounge – even if u all watch drab, tragic serials,
all of u will be laughing.. and do not worry, this mood is only
inside the lounge.. when the rays of the mood changer fall on
you.. and so when u go out u do not run the risk of being called loosuuus , Ok??? Function two…. It will detect spoilers getting
posted in threads and will black them out automatically –
viewbies can relax" - An audible sigh is heard from Meli, Giri
and Bluegal – and all the updates by regular up-daters will be
sent by PMs to those who are interested and archived auto-
matically – discussion of updates will be continued in the threads - those who do not get the update PM will be in the dark – wont
know head or tail , what say???"

Roja stops her tirade - the lounge explodes with whistling....
clapping.... Calasi rolling around and flashing all his colors....
Papa Laz gets carried away by the enthusiasm and joins
sonny boy in rolling... the lounge lights up without any strobes........

Suddenly the hysterical laughter from Roja fills the lounge .....
but why??? well ... the 12 hours deadline is over..... Hellofserials.....
Thols ..... CJB .... all hell breaks loose.......

A small into for my Thursday CK :

Kasthuri (Vaathu) serial has two characters - Younger brother of Kasthuri, Suresh - Jr gander- and Sumathi the Sister-in-law of
vaathu's younger sister Thanam. According to the story(??!!)
Thanam and Sumathi were shown as classmates and this Sumathi
is all set to avenge Thanam for some silly reason. She teams up
with her mom and tries to belittle Thanam - she even goes to the
extent of an "attempt to kill" her SIL - but falls in love with Thanam's
"little" brother. Well, the last we heard, marriage was on the cards
for these two - they are missing for quite some time now!!!

In a discussion Eljay was wondering about the missing characters -
a whole load of them actually - and wanted to know if Roja The
Story Writer (RTSW) can do some thing - like writing a story on
the missing lot. My answer in vaathu thread is pasted here

"And Eljay , as for RTSW - Roja The Story Writer - would much
rather focus on Suresh ( let me remind u folks, he is the junior
gander of vaathu family) and Sumathi ( well I need to give u all
this much credit, I am sure that u know that this girl is the one who
is going to carry Jr.gander on her hips for the rest of her/his life -
nila nila odi vaa, nillamal odi vaa , malai mele yeri vaa malligai poo kondu vaa, aaachu, adi kozhambu yanai kutty, chellam, muzhusa sapittuduthe..) to spin " love in a cradle" - what say???"

This answer brought back memories of childhood for a lot of our members and Eljay PM ed me asking for a CK on this. Popular
request can not be ignored and so I promised to do a CK on this
- and so .....

IF Tamil Serials' Fans' Lounge.

Suram is sitting in one corner and throwing daggers
at Jas - "ayyo intha amma ravusu thangalai da kannu"
Hugs her true friend, her doggy. Her dog gives one of
those soulful, pitying looks and licks Suram's face -
"wish I could step in for u.." That look and lick
did wonders.. Suram shouts at Jas " hey where is the
next lot??"

Jas is also busy - She has buried herself in to the book
"How/Where/When/Who/Why - One Stop Ready Reckoner
Manual". Little does she realize that there is some one in
IF who is compiling all the questions posed by her to all the
"hot seat" victims - be rest assured that it will hit the best
sellers list soon!!!

Ho is all excited - the mere mention of vaathu and her clan
brings in this reaction. She has a broad grin on her face. She
went to work wearing the same grin and her students took
total advantage of her euphoria!!! They took small naps in
the class, passed French fries around... all these went above
Ho's head today!!!

Eljay on the other hand is cursing herself " che, I just sent
a random PM to Roja about the missing duck load
and look where I have landed???" But she is happy
that she will be away from the forum for over 2 months
"freedom from Roja and her bantering.."

Fluidd and Vinu are busy searching for Tamil nursery rhymes
and general children's songs. Vinu asks Fluidd about a
mambazham song which triggers Fluidd .. starts singing
with gusto " mambazhamam mambazham malgova mambazham, selathu mambazham nee thanadi" Vinu throws the paper
weight which misses Fluidd by a few centimeters. Fluidd
realizes that she got carried away and has a sheepish smile.

Giri enters singing " Rajagopalaa, unga amma dosai varthaala?? unakku thanthaala?/ enakku thanthalee..." Nallu is suspicion personified. Ever since she started writing thrillers, she doubts
every thing/everybody!!! "ithu enna Giri akka voda own
composition aa ?? Ipdi oru song kettathe illiye??" Giri goes
on " yaar sutta dosai??paati sutta dosai..."

Kavi has a look of concern - "Giri why can't u ask me if u
want dosais?? I can make for you.." But Kavi is busy feeding
Suram with juices and snacks - "Paavam ponnu. Jas kitte
mattikichu... hmmmm nalla kaalam, I am out of the furnace"

Meli and Pokkiri are busy as well - Pokkiri has to find
info about all the Pongal release movies and Meli has to
get reviews.

Pat has some free time these days - She is convinced that
vaathu has become a swan now .. that too a "combuter
educated" swan who can make her own projects (programs??!!!)
and stun her admirers with her newly acquired "beauty
and brains"!!! As long as she has Ho on her side, she need
not fear the likes of Roja!!!

Netra enters the lounge tentatively - she has heard that
madness is rampant here and anyone coming in does so at
their own risk. She contained herself from making an entry
but having known mad Roja for some time now, she has
gotten brave -'huh, I do read her updates!! I am sure nothing
else can be more madder!!"

The languid IF ians wake up to a sudden jolt... yes Roja
enters the lounge banging the door behind her. The IF ians
hear a deafening cry.... AHHHHHH.

Roja goes back to the door and lets in Sumathi who carries
her beau in her hip. Suresh, jr.gander, beau of Sumathi akka
is so used to being carried around that he has forgotten the
existence of his legs!!! He should have taken care to protect
them - he thought that they belonged to some one else and
was swinging them back and forth. When Roja banged the
door in her usual fashion, the extra extremities got caught
and ended up being more useless.

Suresh did a "vu vu vu vu" and reached for Sumathi's
duppatta but his hands stopped midway .... awww he
heard Giri singing " yaar sutta dosai??paati sutta dosai.."
His eyes glowed with excitement ... "dosai .. dosai... enakku... enakku... " before he could finish dosai parayanam, he heard
Fluidd singing "mambazhamam"..... he switched over to
"mambazham.. enakku.. enakku..." Sumathi got fed up -
gave him one tight slap on his back and gagged his mouth
with her duppatta. He forgot dosai and mambazham momentarily
and started chewing the duppatta!!!

The IF ians circled around the new entrants and had a
questioning look in their eyes - of course the look was
directed at Roja.. as usual - 😳 . Ho came running as the
one woman reception committee and seated them in
comfortable seats. Sumathi tried to unload her baggage
but the baggage had no intention of moving away!!! Ho's
eyes were at the door - " vaathu varaliyaa?? Rojaaa,
what is this??" For Roja such cries are flea bites .. she
has real thick skin... tells Ho that vaathu is busy with
her relocation to Madras. A disappointed Ho settles for

Roja pulls Eljay to the center and says that she brought these
two just for her. Eljay is all ears " aha, I get another chance
to practice my Romance Killer tactics. As Priya/ACD romance
is non-existent now. ( Boyyy, I did kill that successfully!!) I
can target this romance. Looks like I may have to thank
Roja, after all...". Eljay's mind is doing a quick search for
an apt tactic and she fails to notice that Roja gave a nod
to Sumathi.

The nod brought : "Nila Nila odi vaa, Nillamal odi vaa,
Malai mele yeri vaa, mallikai poo kondu vaa, Nadu
veetile vaiye, Nalla thuthi seyyee" - hearing the song
Suresh opens his mouth automatically at regular intervals
and Sumathi's hands perform the act of feeding him - the
mouth and the hand are empty though!!! Sumathi goes on
to say " adi kozhambuuu yanai kutty, yen chella kutty,
pattu kutty, samatha sappituduthu umma umma" - Eljay
is frozen in her tracks ... at last finds her mouth and mouthes
" Rojaaaa what is this?? some music lesson??"

Roja looks all innocent and raises her eye brows in question -
" yes Eljay, what did u think?" Now, the lounge is slowly
heating up with Eljay's temperature rising above danger limit!!!
In a fit of anger Eljay goes on " whattttt. why... who..." Jas quickly hides her book " aww,... pora pokkule my book is being made the target??!"

Roja is busy taping the performance. Pat and Ho are stunned.
Nallu runs to bring her hand book "adutha mystery kku idea kidaikkum pola irukke!!" Kavi stops at the kitchen door
holding the freshly made dosais in a plate.... The performance
is over and Roja dispenses with the vaathus. She gives them an envelope ... remuneration??!! .. and then faces a boiling Eljay.
Giri is pouring ice water on Eljay and Netra is petrified....
The others are used to Roja and Giri. Roja explains: "Aww Eljay,
u said that u have never sung this to your children. They seem
to have threatened you with "jumping off the car" ... So, I
thought of giving you lessons on this from the best tutor -
and believe me, Sumathi is the best - here,take this tape
home and practice every day for an hour. by the time u get
back from India, you will be a pro at this, what say??"

Eljay looks around for some thing heavy to hit Roja but
Roja is quick to counter - she laughs hysterically.. the lounge
echoes with her laughter...a calm Giri is pouring ice water on Eljay........

IF Tamil Serials' Fans' Lounge.

Giri, Eljay, Ho, Jas, Kavi, Vinu, Fluidd, Vani,
Meli, Netra, Nallu, BG - all are relaxing with face masks.
The newly appointed in-house beautician has asked
all of them to keep quiet -" u keep rambling around
like this, the mask will not be effective, ok?" -
Roja is missing as usual and the rest are not able
to contain themselves!!

Ho's mask is almost dry and so she starts " where is Roja??
is she not keen about the facial??? what does she think? some
kind of a swan like our vaathu who does not need any beauty treatment?"

Jas is quick to defend" aww Ho, she is playing Manorama
aachi in Kolly section - if any thing she needs to deglamorize
herself "

Eljay wants to raise her brows in surprise but alas, the mask does
not allow any such luxury. It is another thing that even if she does,
no one will be able to see that!!!

Vinu and Fluidd are gurgling like infants after a bottle of milk -
to be translated as " Manorama aachi yaa?? ithu konjam over
aa illai?? yetho konjam CK ezhuthinaa antha level kku imagine
panna aarambichutangala Roja akka??"

Nallu voices her fear " Hey Vinu and Fluidd,adutha mystery series
le Roja than heroine, ippo Manorama level kku poitta, na epdi avangalai afford panna mudiyum?? na almost ezhuthiyachu vera..."

Giri comforts " dont worry Nallu ,... nee ezhuthu apram pathukkalam"

While the talk is on, they all hear the door - the beautician enters and is totally vexed - all the masks have cracked. Out of frustration she coats once more and decides to watch over - "no more talking, ok?"
Ho laughs out loud " hmm I say this every day in class, what is the point??"

Just then the lounge door bangs - Oh yes that is Roja - Jas calls
out " Sillu Sillu vanthaacha?" The answer is totally garbled and
that does not sound like Roja. They all hear a noise - they will later come to know that it was the beautician fainting and falling off her chair.

Roja calls the IF ians " attention people, we have guests here".
Eljay makes sure that the paper weight is handy. If it is another
nila nila session she is all set to hit mad Roja. "I brought our
Vaathu Academy consultant here so that we can inaugurate today
itself but what I did not bargain for was our creep tagging. I have
been wanting to give him a bit of my mind and now is the best time" -
there is a flurry of activity, all run to wash their faces!!

When they get back, they see the beautician lying down in a heap.... vaathu is dressed in a green sari and panju mittai blouse.... hair
braided and tied with a blue ribbon.... creep's hands are tied at the back... he is closing his eyes .. livid with fear of seeing vaathu's face.... vaathu drools.... my my it is some sight!!

Ho screams" Roja where is my swan?? why is she again a vaathu?" Roja has a wicked smile " Ho, did u remove the mask fully? open
your eyes and see properly" Ho reaches for her glasses .... Kavi is holding Vinu for support.. Fluidd rubs her eyes.... Giri is dazed - she just archives, does not even read the updates but this is too much
even for her.... Eljay's hands fail her, she can not hold the paper weight.... Creep is crying loud... yes it is Rekhs who is dressed like vaathu.... now,someone is breezing into the lounge.... " master, master, puthu project panniyirukken, Ganesh annanukku puriyalai, ungalukku puriyutha pappom..." Original vaathu walks in ... creep is all eyes.... now it is his turn to drool.. "Kasthuriiiii, vanthuttiya?"

Roja laughs hysterically... Yanaikku oru kaalam vantha poonaikkum oru kaalam varum.....

Part 1

Nallu and Giri are very busy. They had sent emails to all
the members and asked them to bring their horoscopes.
Every one sent theirs by emails and some of them did not
have a horoscope. Nallu had collected the time, date and
place of birth from them and sent it to Roja. Roja is supposed
to get the casting done by the astrologer and bring them
along. Roja has also asked for the horoscopes to be numbered alphabetically - the duo have no clue , but they are sure that
the senior devil has some ulterior motives. Both are busy
printing, numbering and arranging them in order -
Eljay - 1 Fluidd -2; Giri - 3; Ho - 4; Jas - 5; Kavi - 6; Meli - 7;
Nallu- 8; Netra - 9; Niti - 10; Pokkiri - 11; Sue - 12;
Suram - 13; Tamil - 14; Usha - 15 Vani -16; Vinu - 17.

The members are coming in one by one. All have had a tiring
day either at work or at school. They are curious about the
astrologer's visit. Each one has a list of Qs ready. As they
enter Kavi gives a nice cup of coffee and Nallu hands over
the numbered tokens. Giri informs that their horoscopes will
have the same no and the astrologer will have a private
session with each of them. He will not know their names - he
will just go by the no. and predict. Jas is not happy about the
system and she needs to know the reason. Neither Giri nor
Nallu have the answer - " oh this is what Roja wants!!"

Ho and Sue are comparing notes - are u planning to ask this
Q?? what if he tells us some thing that we do not want to know??...

Eljay has a set as well - " if Priya can buy a 50,000 rs sari for
her would be MIL, I can buy that too - better still, I can find
out if my future DIL would buy it for me!! may be some thing
more expensive??!! need to check whether hubby darling is
ready to part with that kind of money, hmmm".......

Fluidd is all full of viscoelastic - has a flush in her
cheeks - she even wants to check about her first gift to him!!!

Vinu is in a world of her own - "aanandam updating is due,
Isaitamil is lazy these days...hmmmm".. nevertheless has her
list ready. Kavi is thinking about Fluidd's wedding -" hmmm
wish I could make it, Nallu bus varumaa???"...... Jas has a
long sheet of paper in her hand. - Suram takes a look at that
and starts laughing - rolls on the floor - and this catches the
attention of the brooding IFians - Suram manages to convey
her thought taking small breaks from the ROFL -"pavam
josiyar, Jas must have got confused that he is the latest
MOTW, I can not wait to see his expression"... starts ROFL
again. Jas looks at the paper and hurriedly stashes it inside
her hand bag ....

Giri and Nallu have finished their work and are sitting in a
corner - lost in thoughts.... both know Roja inside out and so
made sure to compile impersonal Qs... needless to say that
some are about the senior devil herself!!

Meli has Qs about her new friend "friend or foe??? confusing
aa irukku..hmmm" Netra is here just to watch.. she is still not
sure about towing Roja's line. Vani and Usha have a few Qs
as well. Usha is very secretive - holds her bag tight. Tamil is
quiet - so many thoughts crisscrossing her mind - "since my
name starts with a T, I can watch as to how it goes for others
and then decide about meeting the josiyar....and 14 is not my
lucky no ...hmmmm" .

Pokkiri is jumping from one place to another -" I know to read
palms, any one game???" Giri mutters some thing in to his ears
and he is all smiles......Niti demands to know the reason for his
smile and he is only too willing to sing" Giri asked me to wait
until the astrologer is done with all of us - she wants me to read
his palm and see how long can he survive after the visit to our IF lounge".. Vani and Niti laugh out loud.

The lounge door bangs and oh yessss Roja is in. She has a red
folder in her hand tied with a red ribbon - the Chinese New Year
is just round the corner!!! - she is also dressed in a red sari and
has a rat cage with a rat in it - she probably made the masal vadai herself and so the rat had not touched it!!! Poor thing was trying
to get out and had a pathetic look - which is worse - Roja's masal
vadai smell or getting trapped??!! Nallu has a basic doubt and so nudges Giri " Roja was talking about a famous josiyar?? a rat???
uh huh... !" Giri is shocked as well and so just opens and closes
her mouth, can not get any words out!!! All have the same thought - well knowing Roja, u can not put any thing past her... but much to
the relief of all, a man clad in panchakacham dhothi enters. He has
a nice tuft - thick and dark - audible sighs from IF ians " enna oil
use panraar nnu kettudanum."

Roja gets in to Atina's room ( just because Atina visits the lounge
only during week ends, Roja has taken over the room!!) leaving
the rat outside. Sue shouts out to Roja"hey Roja we know that
this is the rat year, u need not show us a rat" - Roja gives her
usual asattu sirippu- God/Roja only know what that means...

That red folder in Roja's hands... what is that??? Nallu is ready
to trade her flying bus for the secret but Giri being senior to
Nallu does not nurse any such thoughts - "I am sure that the
folder is not worth any of my precious things and I am also sure
that the mystery will unfold pretty soon..."

Roja places the tokens near the rat cage anddddd the rat picks
up no 1 and calls out " Token no one, please come" Eljay is
frozen on her tracks and we hear 2 or 3 heavy "Damaalll"s -
Nallu, Vani and Ho have fainted hearing the rat talking - Kavi
and Giri run around with water and smelling salts... Sue pushes
a dazed Eljay inside.... well, the prediction episode starts with fire works......
