Sujal Garewal: Mukti's Doctor who helps her during the case of her accident.

Kashish Garewal: Wife of Dr Sujal Garewal and she herself is a doctor. Helps Mukti recover. (also plays a big role in Mukti's life)


Rajeev Malhotra: Mukti's childhood and best friend. Helps her out in anything.

The story starts when its that party 4rm when Prem gets shot by aparna's goon but Mr.Bajaj gets the blame for it and also, Anu gives the laal dupatta to Sneha. The twist here is that Mukti wasn't at the party and Prem doesn't go missing at sea. Mukti was actually out with her friends and told prena that she would come by later (2 the party). She ends up being at the place where Aparna tells tht goon to shoot Prem. Mukti hears this and becomes shock. Aparna finds out that Mukti has heard everything and threatens her that if Prem finds out that it was Aparna who wants to shoot him, then she will kill him for sure.
Now Mukti is in a dilemma and thinking whether she should tell Prena what aparna said or not
Note: Mr.Bajaj is in jail.

Mukti is in her room while evryone else is in the police station tryin to release Mr.Bajaj. Prem comes to her
P: miss mukti, kaha ko gayi?
M: tum, tumhare inti himaat hain ki mere kamre mein aaneki? u knw UD, i was feeling really sorry 4 u about nt growing up wivout parents. 20 yrs choti ma waited for u just hoping that you would come back to her. But in return, you put her husband in jail and causing her pain. Everyday i used to see her crying and looking at ur picture wen you were a kid. She used to sit there and cry all the time when no-one was looking. I use to think that someday you would come and stop choti ma 4rm crying, but now i just see that it was completely useless me thinking that. I dnt knw y i even thought of that. but now i just see that you don't give a damn about ur dad being in jail for sumtin he didn't even do!
P: wait a minute, how do you even knw that he didn't do anything? you weren't even there at the scene of the crime so how do you that Budda Bajaj didn't do anything?

Mukti became silent. She quickly headed for the door and took a taxi. Prem followed her in his own car. The taxi stopped outside the police station. Prem sat there in his car be4 heading out. He wondered what she was doing in there. He got out of the car and followed her inside. There he saw Prena, Anurag, Sneha and all the other members of the family. Finally he saw Mukti. He walked up to her but she had something to say. Prena didn't let her say anything as she was pleading the officer in charge of the case to let her husband out.

Pr: Mr.Bajaj didn't do anything, he is innocent.
Police officer: Mrs.Bajaj, all the evidence points towards him. It proves that he shot Mr. Prem.
Prena continued on pleading with the police. Mukti couldn't handle her choti ma being in that position. She shouted:
M: INSPECTOR, I SHOT PREM SHARMA!

Prena and everyone else was astounded as to what Mukti said. Prena walked up to her daughter and said:
Pr: kya kaha tumne? tumne prem ko maara?
M: ha choti ma (she had her face turned away)
Pr: sach kaho mukti (turning mukti's face towards her), kya tumne prem ko maara?
M: ji choti ma (not looking into her eyes)
Pr: mere aankhon mein dal kal kaho, kya tumne prem ko maara ya nahin?
Mukti became silent. She asked the inspector if she could have some time alone with her family. He allowed & said 10 mins maximum

M: choti ma mein ne prem ko nahin maara, balki aparna ne koi goondhe ne bhejdiya.

Prem became shocked. Prena and evryone else stood there on the root. Mukti told the whole thing, about how she heard aparna's plan, how aparna had threatened her if she had told anyone about her plan, then she will surely kill prem for sure.
Mukti finished by saying:
M: mein janti hoon ke sir ne kuch bhi nahin kya hain aur mein yeh to bhi jaanti hoon ki aap ne Prem keliye bheese sal (20 years) intazaar kya hain. Aap apne pati ke bina na beta ke bina ji nahin sakti. Isliye mein to yeh sab karahi hoon. Mein aapko aur dard mein nahin dekh sakti choti ma. I am doing this only for you choti ma nad no-one else. I can't see you like this. I dnt have enough evidence to prove that Aparna done all this.

Prena hugged her daughter while the inspector had come with Mr.Bajaj and said for the officer to arrest Mukti. Mr.Bajaj was shocked at hearing this. Prena silenced him and took him home while Mukti went towards a cell.

Prem on the other hand, was outraged. He couldn't even think of his "aunty" doing that to him. She wanted him dead. Mother India was right about her then. Aparna didn't care for him, he only cared about his money. He walked straight off to his car and headed home full of ANGER! 😡

Mukti, meanwhile, was in the cell and thinking whether she had done the right thing or not. She was glad that the burden was off her now and she had told Prena but if Aparna had found out that Prena new then Prem's life would be gone for sure.
A police officer had come up to her. Mukti recognizes his face and saw that it was the man who had shot Prem.

Man: i thought Ma'am had told u not to tell any1?
Mukti kept silent. She realizes that she was in a room not a cell. The man took out a whip & started beating Mukti with it. In no time at all, she was on the floor, badly bleeding.

Prena had told Mr.Bajaj everything. What mukti had said, what aparna had done. He was taken aback. He had arranged for prena & sneha to go and see Mukti since they wanted to see her. Prena had also called Mukti's childhood friend Rajeev (jeev - is wht mukti calls him)& since he was a lawyer he would do anything for Mukti to get her out of a terrible mess. He agreed & came immediately (guys, jeev is played by Eijaz Khan).

Prena & Sneha & Rajeev reached the police station and asked if they could see Mukti. Rajeev let the two women go first while he sorted out Mukti's bail. The inspector had said that she was in cell number 12. An officer had taken both of them there. They saw Mukti, she was really bad. Prena looked shocked to see her daughter in that state. Sneha just stood there on the spot, her eyes fix upon her friend/sister. Prena ran to Mukti shouting for help. Three officers came along with Rajeev. Rajeev was shocked to see his friend like that. He just lifted her up and took her out with sneha and prena following suite.

Prena and Sneha ran behind him(jeev) who was holding Mukti in his hand. Sneha was just shocked and was thinking of who could do this. Prena on the other hand pushed the car door open and let Rajeev put Mukti in there, while she went in from the other side. Sneha and Rajeev sat in the front and the car drove off to the hospital. Prena told Sneha to ring up the family members and tell them what had happened and tell them that they were on their way to the hospital. This sneha done and quickly put the phone down. The family ran out of the house. On the way, they had met Basu pariwaar. They (bajaj pariwaar) told Anurag and the others what had happened in the station to Mukti. Mr.Bajaj and Anurag decided that they would go to the station to find out how all this happened while the others go the hospital to go and see Mukti.

Prem on the other hand was astounded to hear what had happened and for some reason, he really wanted to see Mukti and ask how she was, but all that could wait. Right now, all he wanted to do was BLAST off at that "aunty" of his. Getting in2 his car, he drove off towards aparna's house.
Aparna who was now really worried about what Prem might do to her, since he knew the truth (the goon had told her after leaving 4rm the station). Just then Prem barged in and asked:

P: AUNTY WHAT THE HELL DID YOU THINK U WOULD DO TO ME?
A: dekho beta, i didn't mean to hurt you, it was just a mistake. you really think i would do that to you?
P: YEAH (really angry now 😡😡😡at her). I THINK YOU WOULD, COZ MUKTI WOULD NEVER LIE ABOUT SOMETHING LIKE THIS AND ESPECIALLY TO MOTHER INDIA! COZ OF U, SHE IS IN HOSPITAL RITE NOW, COZ YOU HAD TOLD THAT MAN TO BEAT HER UP. DIDN'T YOU?
A: but y r u so worried as to what happens to her. Its not as if you LOVE her now d'u?
P: NO I DON'T, BUT IT WAS BECAUSE OF HER THAT I KNOW UR REAL TRUTH. IF SHE WASN'T THERE, THEN I WOULD'VE BEEN DEAD BY NOW. U KNOW, MOTHER INDIA AND DAD BASU WAS ALWAYS RIGHT ABOUT YOU, YOU ONLY WANTED ME FOR MY MONEY AND ONCE YOU WERE DONE WITH ME, YOU WOULD CHUCK ME OUT OF THE HOUSE LEAVING ME WITH NOTHING INIT?
Aparna who was getting really angry with Prem shouted:
YES, ALL I WANTED 4RM YOU WAS UR MONEY! I DIDN'T WANT U IN THE FIRST PLACE. I DID SEND THAT GOON TO SHOOT YOU, BUT YOU WOULDN'T THINK THAT I WOULD DO ANYTHING LIKE THAT, COZ U CARE FOR ME I KNOW YOU DO!I ALSO SENT HIM TO BEAT UP MUKTI WHILE SHE WAS IN JAIL! realizing what she had said, she bit her lip
P: NO AUNTY, I USED TO CARE FOR YOU BUT NOW I KNOW UR TRUTH. MOTHER INDIA WAS RIGHT BOUT YOU. YOU DON'T CARE 4 NO-ONE, ONLY URSELF!!!!!!!!!!
A: UD beta.......
P: NOT UD! PREM PRENA SHARMA IS MY NAME. MY NAME IS PREM NOT UD!
And with that said, he walked off, but he held back and said:
P: if anything happens to Mukti or my mom or dad, then i won't spare you. be4 you had me on ur side fighting for u, but now you have me fighting against you and by the side of MY parents PRENA SHARMA, ANURAG BASU AND RISHAB BAJAJ. watch out for me Aparna.

He left. On the way out he met Anurag and Mr.Bajaj who was with a whole load of officers. They had heard Prem's and Aparna's convo and had also heard the confession she had made. Prem looked at them and headed towards his car. He drove off. The police arrested Aparna and took her to jail.(guys i didn't want to add a scene of Aparna with Anu & Mr.Bajaj - waste too much time)

On the other hand, in hospital, Mukti was taken into the operation theatre in desperate need of an operation. She was fighting for her dear life. The doctor came out and Prena and Rajeev ran to him asking a whole load of questions. The doctor was Dr.Sujal Garewal. He was doing Mukti operation and had asked for her parents and also rajeev.
S: the patient is calling 2 people, jeev and a choti ma. Do you know who they are? please call them immediately!

Pr: i am Mukti's choti ma. please tell me what is wrong with her?
R: i'm jeev and yes please tell us what has happened to Mukti?
Dr.S: come with me please.
They followed him to his office. Sujal asked them to sit down & asked:
S: did mukti have a heart surgery when she was small?
Prena was shocked and Rajeev didn't have a clue to what he was talking about
Pr: yeah she did, she had a transplant when she was small but what has that got to do with this incident?
S: during the surgery, Mukti's heart was continuously stopping and starting again. So it was kind of hard for us to stop the bleeding from her wounds. Mukti's heart seems to be rejecting her now and we need to get a transplant ASAP! if we don't get 1 then she could....die.

Prena was shocked and there flashbacks are shown with her and Mukti. Rajeev was just lost for words. Now knowing that he could loose his best friend seemed worse than having a nightmare. He wished that this was one of those of nightmares which he could snap out of but it was no use. He stood up and went out of the room. Prena followed him and so did Sujal. The family was now joined up with Anurag, Mr.Bajaj and Prem who saw them. Rajeev ran out of the hospital. Prena followed him and Prem and Sneha followed her outside.

Rajeev sat on the bench crying his heart out. Mukti couldn't leave him and die. He was all alone in this world. He didn't have any1 apart 4rm his dad (who was mostly away half the time due to business). Mukti was the only friend he had. He treated Prena as a mother as well but Mukti couldn't be replaced 4rm his heart. No-one could take her place. He remembered the first time he met Mukti, how she stood up for him and the first time he met Prena.

FLASHBACK:
We see a cute 7 yr old Rajeev playing on the swing when some older boys came and started troubling him. He just sat there & started to cry while they took the mickey out him, when all of a sudden a girl came up to them.
Girl: hey, what do you think you are doing to this boy? leave him alone. If you don't then you have me to answer to.
Boy1: oh what you gonna do little girl? this chashmish is so.......
The girl had had enough of these boys. Bringing his face down to her she slapped him with all her might. Then she slapped the other 4 as well. They stood there with their hands on their cheeks and looked at her.
She said: if you do this again to my friend then you have to remember that MUKTI is here to give you punishment. Don't do it again. Now go!
The boys went and Mukti turned to rajeev who was still on the swing looking at her shell shocked. No-one had stood up for him like that. Mukti let out her hand
M: hi i am Mukti Deshmukh. mujhse dosti karoge?
R: hi i am Rajeev Malhotra and yh i will be your friend.
M: great, you wanna come and play with me. You can also meet my choti ma. She is right over there pointing out to Prena who was talking to some women.
R: yeah ok.
Mukti and Rajeev went towards Prena who saw them coming. She hugged Mukti and asked her
Pr: Mukti beta, who is this?
M: Choti ma, this is rajeev, he is my friend. woh kya hain na, some boys were teasing him, so i stood up to them and gave them tight slap on the face. She proudly told her choti ma. Prena smiled and looked at rajeev.
Pr: beta tere ma kahan hain?
R: mere paas ma nahin hain. woh to mujhe chor kar chali gaye hain pagwaan ke paas. He pointed up towards the sky.
Prena felt sorry for rajeev and said:
Pr: beta aaj se mein tere maa hoon tekhe. From 2day, you will call me choti ma just like mukti does ok.
R: okay choti ma.
M: mein aaj se tujhe 'rajeev' nahin balki 'jeev' kahonge
R: ok mukti

END OF FLASHBACK
Rajeev smiled at the memory and remembered all those times when he and Mukti would hang out during school and after school, how she always stood up for him and how she would always help him in whatever problem he was in. Prena found him at went upto him. She sat down and out her hand in his.

Pr: jeev beta, i know how you are feeling right now, but we have to be strong for Mukti. agar hum nahin hain uske paas to koun hoga? we have 2 be strong 4 her ok. don't break down like this.
R: i knw choti ma, but how can i be strong. Mukti mere liye sirf ek dost nahin balki ek dost se kahin ziyada. If anything happens to her, then i wnt be-able to live. He started to cry and Prena hugged him.

Prem and Sneha were looking for them everywhere. They found them sitting on the bench crying. They watched as the two poured their hearts out to each other. Sneha then asked:
S: ma, doctor aap ko andar bolaraha hain. he is calling you.
Pr: tekhe beta.
P: ma
Prena was shocked as to what she heard coming from Prem's mouth. She hugged him and he hugged her back. So happy that she had her son back, she started smiling.
Prem continued: ma what did the doctor say about Mukti?
Prena was shocked. She remembered her daughter who was in the theatre and fighting 4 her life. She ran for the hospital but the 3 stayed behind. Sneha and Prem asked Rajeev to what happened but he was too shock to listen. Finally coming out of shock he told them what the doctor said. They stood there rooted to the spot.
Sneha started to cry. She also had no idea about Mukti's heart problem. She hugged Rajeev (they were good friends) and he also started to cry. Prem just stood there shocked for words. He didn't know what he wanted more - mukti getting better or just to KILL aparna with his bare hands for doing this to her (mukti).
