Prem and Sneha were looking for them everywhere. They found them sitting on the bench crying. They watched as the two poured their hearts out to each other. Sneha then asked:
S: ma, doctor aap ko andar bolaraha hain. he is calling you.
Pr: tekhe beta.
P: ma
Prena was shocked as to what she heard coming from Prem's mouth. She hugged him and he hugged her back. So happy that she had her son back, she started smiling.
Prem continued: ma what did the doctor say about Mukti?
Prena was shocked. She remembered her daughter who was in the theatre and fighting 4 her life. She ran for the hospital but the 3 stayed behind. Sneha and Prem asked Rajeev to what happened but he was too shock to listen. Finally coming out of shock he told them what the doctor said. They stood there rooted to the spot.
Sneha started to cry. She also had no idea about Mukti's heart problem. She hugged Rajeev (they were good friends) and he also started to cry. Prem just stood there shocked for words. He didn't know what he wanted more - mukti getting better or just to KILL aparna with his bare hands for doing this to her (mukti).
Rain started to pour on to all 3 of them. Rajeev & Sneha let go of each other and made their way to the hospital be4 they get soaked by the rain. Prem on the other hand went out of the hospital & made his way towards his car. Getting in he made his way towards the police station. Reaching there, he got out of his car and asked if he could visit Aparna. The officer showed him which cell she was in. He made his way upto her and confronted her. Aparna saw him and sat up thinking that he had come back to her.
A: UD beta, i knew you would come back to me and not stay with that Prena. I just knew. U bought the bail papers haven't you? quickly, go and give them to the inspector and get me out of here.
Prem didn't move. Instead he just stood there and listen to her talk. Finally he said
P: Miss Aparna, have you 4gotten what i told you?
#1 - my name is not UD, it is PREM PRENA SHARMA! #2 - i told you that if anything happens to Mukti or my parents or my family members, then i would go and hunt you down, didn't i say that? #3 - i have NOT returned to you and i NEVER will. I just came here to tell you, that becoz of you, Mukti is fighting for her dear life in the operation theatre and if MY MOM looses her daughter, then it will be YOU who HAS to PAY! If Mukti looses her life, then it will be you who will also loose your life. My mom's daughter and my sister's BEST friend and sister is in hospital and if ANYTHING happens to her, you along with your son, will have to pay. you understand that? (saying in his UD tone)
Aparna looked shocked at when he mentioned her son.
A: U better not do anything to my son. U better not.
P: too bad, i will IF ANYTHING happens to Mukti or my family. With that said, he walked off leaving Aparna in her thoughts.
Back at the hospital, in the operation theatre, Mukti was battling for her life. The doctors were trying to do their best at keeping her stable, while outside everyone was waiting. Prena broke down as to which Rajeev had tp remind her that they had to be strong for Mukti. Prem came back to the hospital soaked and walked towards the family. Prena looked at her son and ran to him. She hugged him and he hugged her back. Everyone was happy to see the sight, but were still worried for Mukti. One of the surgeons came out. Prena, Rajeev & ervyone else ran to him. He said:
Surgeon: we have managed to stabilize her for the time being. She has lost a lot of blood but we have managed to get her blood type and put her on a drip. Dr.Sujal is the main consultant over here, but, as he still being with the patient, he has asked me to tell you this. I'm sorry, but if we don't get a heart transplant by the end of 2 months, then the patient could...... die (he said with great difficulty) and if we don't, then all we can hope for is a miracle. I'm sorry and he went off towards the staff room.
Prena was in complete shock. She looked at Mukti, who had been brought out of the room on a bed. She was really badly wounded and Prena could see the stitches the docs had done on her. She slowly followed the bed to a room. She stood by the door, as the doc hadn't allowed anyone for at least an hour or so to enter the room. Prena watched silently as her daughter was being put onto the bed and laid down.
Rajeev and Sneha had no-idea on what to do or what to say. All they could think of was the fact that their best friend was gonna die within two months if she didn't get a transplant done. Sharad had tried to get Sneha to talk. but she wouldn't budge. Tushar and Kuki were trying to get Rajeev talking but he would just remain silent. The two was as still as a statue. They just wouldn't speak or move. Prem couldn't see his sister and his mom like this. He decided on what he should do. Anurag & Sam saw him going somwhere. They followed him. Prem took of his shoes and walked barefoot towards the mandir. Anurag and Sam saw what he was doing and smiled. The temple was empty. The only person that was there was the Punditji. Prem started to say:
P: you separated me from my parents 20 yrs ago. I didn't grow up with a good and healthy life. Instead i just used to make fun of people and i used to make fun of you, BUT now i am here to ask for something. In hospital, there is a girl who is very dear to my mother and sister. She needs a transplant done. The girl who could never see my mother in pain, is the girl who is in pain 2day. Please save her. My mom and sister have gone into a deep state of shock. Please help them, including rajeev. He has been through alot in his life and he doesn't want to loose his best friend. Please help him through this phase right now. He needs you, we all do and most of all, MY MOTHER. She needs you the most right now. 20 yrs ago, she lost her son. She suffered for 20 yrs. Please don't let her suffer for the death of her daughter. Save Mukti, please save Mukti.
Prem closed his eyes. Anurag and Sam joined him in the prayer. The bells started to ring and Prem knew that it was sign of Mukti getting better. All the time he was praying, Mukti started to open her eyes. Slowly she started to move and Prem kept on praying repeatedly for her recovery.
Mukti opens her eyes and shouted : JEEV! CHOTI MA!
