FINALLY THE TRUTH
FLASHBACK
The time went back to when Rajveer had been rescued by Abhimanyu from Bharghav's imprisonment. Then all the cadets had met up with them and now were fighting with both Nair and Bharghav.
Bharghav and Nair kept shooting towards them, whilst Abhimanyu defended back by shooting back at them. This continued for quite a while and during this Naina and Rajveer got to share many things with each other. They were engrossed in a conversation as if they were making a plan. "Naina now there's no way out of this." A tired out Rajveer spoke as he half sat, half laid behind the stone wall they were behind.
"Don't say that sir I haven't come so far just to loose you again. We'll get through this or anth me jeet hamaree hee hogi." Naina assured him.
"I know that's why I made sure you found me." He coughed as talking for him wasn't easy at all. He was finding it hard to breath but being in Naina's arms was helping as an oxygen tank.
The bullets were being fired but the two lovers weren't affected by it. All they could think about was how to save each other.
Naina was worried about his deterioting health and didn't want him to get hit by any of the bullets so she shielded him. Rajveer on the other hand was worried about her safety because he needed her to stay alive after him as only she could bring justice to him and Naveen. He wanted her to not worry about him and leave the place with Abhimanyu.
"You know Sir I won't leave you so no point in trying. You did it before and now see where you are but I still managed to find you so what makes you think I won't find you again."
"Naina why don't you understand, at least one of us has to stay alive in order to keep fighting." He touched her cheek affectionately.
They were speaking a bit low so only they could hear and plus the firing was so deafening that they knew Abhimanyu won't be able to hear them. On purpose she had sat so close to him.
Just then Pooja had run out from the bushes reaching for Ali but Nair had caught her midway. When Rajveer and Naina heard his voice both of them stopped and listened.
"Captain Chauhaan, I know you three are also here somewhere so don't think you'll be able to do anything out of order. I'm warning you that I won't hesitate in shooting cadet Ghai here." He pressed the gun harder into her temple making her wince in pain. "Are you coming out or shall I start the countdown?"
"Sir we better stay where we are as this is just Nair's trick to lure us out." She warned Rajveer.
"Raj she's right. I think we should wait." Abhimanyu agreed and then peeked out of the hole to see what exactly Nair was up to and he saw how Pooja was struggling and Ali and Yudi had gone out there too.
"I don't want to hear anything Naina. You'll have to listen to me and it's important." Rajveer came closer to Naina to what looked like a hugging position when in fact he wanted to whisper in her ear. "Listen carefully to what I'm saying okay. We're all going to go out in front of them and we're going to do exactly as they say."
"But sir..."
"Ssshh..." he pressed tighter as if he was going to loose her or something.
Major Nair began shouting again,"one….two….three…four…." when he didn't see anyone coming out he was about to pull the trigger when he paused.
"Don't argue with me Naina and do as they tell you. Trust me nothing will happen to me okay." He pulled out and looked into her eyes. His eyes were full of trust and love he had for her and she saw that and simply nodded in agreement. Now she was confident in her love that whatever he said he will do it.
"Wait!" Abhimanyu came out followed by Rajveer being supported by Naina.
"That's like a good soldier." Nair smirked as once again the gang was in front of them. "Now do as I tell you to otherwise…"

"Hold on sir, if she did shoot you then how did you survive? I mean she did shoot three bullets in you and then you fell..." Huda remembered the facts and became confused.
"Well I was getting to that." The only reason Rajveer was annoyed with Huda was because from the past hour he had done nothing but ask him questions repeatedly and now he just wanted to strangle him. Anyways he continued telling them.

All of them got the chance to release themselves from the capture. During this time Rajveer was able to take a gun out from his back and he made sure he threw it right next to Bharghav. He needed him to take the gun in order for his plan to work.
Bharghav was too clever and he managed to capture all of them again. This time he held Rajveer on the gun point as he found a gun lying around.
"Ab koi hushaari nahi chaheeye mujhe!"
Again everyone froze and looked at each other for ideas but seeing Rajveer caught they all had become numb. Even Abhimanyu couldn't think of anything.
"Ha, now, for the fun part." Bharghav was going to pull the trigger but stopped and stared at a hysterial Naina and things began cooking up in his evil mind. "Tell me captain, marne se pehle aapkee koi aakhri khwaish hai?"
"I…I want to die…" he couldn't finish his sentence properly.
"Of course you're going to die, but before that is there anything you would like to do for the last time?"
"Me chahta hu ke mujhpar goli…N…Naina chalaye."
All eyes shot up at him with shock including Naina. What was he saying? How was she to do such a thing? She gave him a disbelief look but again he assured her with his eyes that she relaxed down a bit knowing he must have had a plan up his sleeve.
"Interesting, pyaar itna ghaira hai ke mehboob khud apnee mehbooba ke haatho marna chahta hai. Of course captain, aapkee yeh aakhri khwaish hum zaroor puree karenge." Bharghav moved towards Naina and forced the gun in her hands. She simply refused but had no choice as Nair threatened to shoot one of her friends if she refused.
Her hands were shaking as she held the gun in her hands and tears were dropping like a waterfall. She looked at a helpless Rajveer standing there at the edge of his life waiting for her to end it. No she couldn't do it. She couldn't do it. Even though she knew nothing was going to happen she was still afraid to hold a gun in front of him. What if his plan didn't work and she really killed him?
"Come on Naina Singh Ahluwalia, what are you waiting for? Pull the trigger!" Bharghav instigated her.
"Naina mujhe…agar kisee…ko maarne ka haq hai…to…to… wo tum ho. Ju…st shoot!" Rajveer commanded her, more like requested her.
She just shook her head in protest as this was something she won't be able to do.
"I said shoot Naina!" Bharghav instigated her even more.
"Maine kaha mujhe shoot karo Naina!" Rajveer joined in with Bharghav. He had wished this that if he was to die then he wanted to die in front of Naina so he could see with his own eyes that she was safe. He wasn't sure if the gun was the one he had thrown but he belived too much in Naina to shoot him. If he was to die then only she should shoot him and if their plan works then it should also be executed by her. "Co…me on Na..Na…Naina please!"
This was not easy for her and she completely refused.
"I said shoot him Cadet Naina Singh Ahluwalia!"
"Shoot him!" Nair joined in with Bharghav.
"Shoot now!"
The constant instigation made her pull the trigger and before she knew it she shot three shots at Rajveer.
Then he fell back into the cliff leaving everyone shocked. Time had stopped especially for Naina as she really did believe she had killed him. If not the bullets then the fall certainly did kill him. As she sat there crying after everyone had left. Yes after Bharghav and Nair destroyed the evidence Abhimanyu convinced all the cadets to come with him as he'll give them justice but as before they all refused to follow him and simply went away by themselves. They were so absorbed in the shock that no one realised Naina still sat there crying over everything, more like mourning.
It took about half an hour or so before a struggling Rajveer climbed back up the cliff as he was waiting for the course to be clear. As he got to the top he noticed Naina sitting on the ground in front of a pile of ashes and he wondered what must have happened. He managed to get up and then he stumbled over to her and stood in front of her.
At first she just stared at him and then at an impulse got up and hugged him tight. Tears were flowing out of her eyes and soon Rajveer also wrapped his arms around her and tried pacifying her. "Thank God you're alright as I got so tensed when you fell."
"I told you to trust me Naina as this time I wasn't going to leave you." He pulled out and wiped her tears. "You know why I chose you to shoot me? Because I know only you'll do justice to my death even. I've full faith in you."
"Aap mujhpe itna bharosa kyu karte hai Sir?"
"Kyu ke me..." he cupped her face in his palms and hesitated if he should tell her or not. Then he thought that now it was about time he poured his heart out to her otherwise he won't be able to survive. "I love you Naina."
Those words came as music to her ears. A gush of wind blew her senses away as she couldn't believe he actually said that. "What did you say? Say it again."
"I love you Naina. I've been in love with you since the day I realised how much you trust and respect me. Even after knowing I killed Naveen you still wished to not let it come in between the trust and respect you had for me. Me jaanta hu ke pehle jab tumne apne pyaar ka izhaar kiya maine tumhe jharak diya per mera yakeen maano Naina I only did it to save you. I didn't want to do anything to jeopardize your position and dignity. But now I realised that your love for me wasn't my weakness but it is my strength. I really love you Naina and I need you. I've always needed you and will always need you till I take my last breath."
Naina couldn't utter a word as she was too overwhelmed with emotions. There was so much love for her in his heart. Tears welled up in her eyes and she just hugged him tight resting her head on his chest.
END OF FLASHBACK
"Wow sir aap to Dhoom 2 ke Hrithik Roshan nikle jaha pe end me wo apnee mehbooba ke haatho se marna chahta he because they had planned it all out from before." Huda patted Rajveer's back which simply shocked him as this guy was getting too free now. Not that he minded but right now was not the right time to joke around.
"Cadet Huda when do you find time to see movies?" Rajveer had a curious look on his face.
Huda realised what he said and bit his tongue as his secret would be caught. He had been sneaking out of the academy several times just to impress some girls he had come across. Now if he would tell Rajveer then instead of telling him his story he'll simply hang him upside down a tree as punishment. "Ummm Sir umm come on this movie is so common. You've got to admit, you've got such an intelligent brain. In such short time you made up the plan of changing Nair's gun with your's which apparently had blanks in it, am I right sir?" he very cleverly diverted the attention back at Rajveer.
"Eh Huda bandh kar apnee bakwaas or Rajveer sir ko apni kahani puree karne de." Aalekh slapped the back of Huda's head as he also was irritated by Huda's constant blabbering and short cuts and puns.
"Thank you cadet Aalekh. As I was saying that yes me and Naina had made the plan that we'll change the guns so then Bharghav is holding the blanks gun. I wasn't sure that he was going to make Naina shoot me but when he did I knew that whatever my fate was it was in her hands. My love for her is simply blind that I would most happily welcome death with my both hands spread out wide." Both Rajveer and Naina sat opposite each other and stared with affection. He gave her his gorgeous smile which always melted her insides making her shudder. She looked at him constanly and then winked at him startling him as she got him off guard.
Aalekh saw that he had become silent all of sudden and then he noticed how he and Naina were playing with their eyes. He felt a bit awkward and thought that these two started anywhere and why did he have to witness it. "Ehem, ehem..." he cleared his throat knowingly to alert the two lovers at once to stop what they were doing and get back on track.
"Sir you've left things out. How did you become R2 and then how did you get married when Naina was in the detention center with all of us."
FLASHBACK
"Now Naina you must still behave like I'm dead as for the world I am." Rajveer explained to her whilst lying down with her on the grass. It had been a few hours since they had simply just laid around in each other's arms. Naina didn't want to think about the consequences anymore whilst Rajveer kept thinking of what excuse Naina would give when going back to the academy. He wasn't sure yet as what Bharghav and Nair would do with them so he needed her to go back. "Now the real game starts as now we'll be able to play both of them just like they've been playing with us. First thing I need you to do is go back to the academy completely shattered and shocked as I just died. Bharghav has to be convinced how much you're devasted after my death."
She looked up at him wondering what he was planning now. If she did go back what if they got separated forever? Not now when she finally got him where she wanted him. It was as if he read her eyes.
"Don't worry Naina me tumhaare upar saaya banke rahunga 24/7 and I promise I won't let anything happen to you or any of the other cadets. You've trusted me till here and I need you to trust me further."
She laid a soft kiss on his bare chest which was revealed by his open neck shirt. "I trust you fully and I know you'll always be there for us."
After that she went to the academy after bidding him adieu. It was hard but she told herself to be strong and go and do what was necessary. When she reached the academy she found all her friends in the foyer with BC standing there. It seemed like they were waiting for her and by the looks of it things weren't right. Then she found out that all of them were charged of breaking the rules of the academy and helping a traitor escape from the jail. All of them were arrested.
Rajveer had managed to get into the academy very cleverly disguised as an olderly and was surprised of finding out what happened. This was not correct and he had to save them all from the evil raft of the system. He could go to Abhimanyu and tell him everything but he wasn't sure if he should.
The hearing took place where Rajveer was also present still as the orderly. The facts which were being laid down by Major Bhraghav and Nair really boiled his blood and he wanted to go and kill them right at the spot. Then he noticed how distraught all the six cadets looked especially his Naina. They all needed him at the moment but he was helpless. Then his eyes fell on Abhimanyu which gave him the idea. He went out of the courtroom and took his phone out.
Abhimanyu heard the vibration so he stood up from his seat and went to the side corner, "Hello?"
"Hello, I know you want to save the six cadets as you know all of them are innocent."
"Who is this?" for a second he thought he recognised the voice.
Rajveer realised that and instantly dubbed his voice into a harder one than usual, "you don't worry about that but there is a way of saving them from suspension and jail. Somehow prove to the court that these cadets have been very noble in the past and tell them all their achievements. This crime should look very small in front of it. Then the court will certainly decide to just send them to the detention center to reform their behaviour." Then Rajveer cut the phone and peeked out from the wall to see Abhimanyu's reaction. He saw him still standing there not doing anything so he wondered if it worked but then he heard him making a few calls which brought a smile on his face. He knew very well that Abhimanyu will be able to use his connections.
The court decided to announce their decision in the next hearing which pleased all of them especially Rajveer as now they'll have time to convince the court to change their final verdict.
Once they all were there Naina kept wondering day and night as to where is he and how come he hadn't come to meet her, She was haunted with dreams about her shooting him and him dying. It just kept her awake all the time and Pooja tried her best to console her. There was only one thing which could console her and that was Rajveer but where was he?
It happened one night when she sat awake in her cell with Pooja in a deep slumber that she heard the lock on her cell opening. Since it was dark it was hard to see who was there so she became nervous as to who had come in the middle of night. She began clinging to her blanket as the footsteps increased. They were really close and a wooden rod came in her hand so she clasped on it and waited for the right time. The footsteps got really close and closer and the person was inches apart when she was going to attack but stopped as a flame was lit in front of her from a lighter and the person's face was seen. She heaved a breath of relief and flung herself in his arms.
"Where were you for so many days?" Naina whispered as tears of joy came out.
"I was waiting for the right time." Rajveer stroked her hair, "don't make a noise and just follow me then I'll tell you everything." He stood up, took her hand and then cautiously took her out of the cell with him and roamed around the corridors until they were out in the compound and under a ditch where he knew no one would find or hear them.
Naina kept looking at him with curious eyes as to what was he doing. So many questions clouded her mind that she just didn't want to think anymore and let him do it all for her. He saw she was tensed about something so he turned her face towards him and softly kissed her forehead. "What's wrong?"
"Nothing it's just...well it's just everything I guess. How are we going to fight with a system which has got so many loop holes in it?"
"I know Naina per ab waqt aagaya hai ke hum ose jawaab de or os system ko ser jhukhaane per majboor karde. I had tolerated it when this happened with Naveen but now it repeated with me so these people won't stop now. Pata nahi or kin kin ke laasho pe pair rakhke chalenge yeh Major Bharghav or Major Nair. You know Naina the whole reason for why I came back to KMA was to find justice for my friend Naveen. I knew he was innocent and I still had to kill him..." he shut his eyes to suppress the pain that still caused him. Naina pressed his hands with her's to console him, "I wanted to find these people out and bring them in front of the world per osme kuch aise hee phasgaya ke sab kuch khatam hogaya. But then I met you Naina and I knew that no, my mission is not over as I knew that there'll be someone after me to continue it and accomplish it."
"Rajveer sir we'll do it together now."
"I know that's why I decided on this new plan of dying. Jo kaam me jeeke nahi karpaaya ab wo me marke karunga. Now that I'm dead I'll be able to go places where Bharghav and Nair wouldn't want anyone to go. It won't be easy but I know if you're with me then this path will become really easy. Kya tum mere saath ho Naina?"
She looked at him for a while admiring the truth and courage in his eyes. She hadn't fallen in love with him for no reason. "I've always been with you sir from the beginning and I'll always be with you."
He cupped her face in his palms, "I know Naina because now you've got to be my strength. If I'll lose you then I won't be able to do anything. And the name is Rajveer if you don't mind." He gave one of his killing smiles which just made her insides melt. She blushed all of a sudden and buried her face in his chest. He just laughed at her innocence and was surprised to see this side of her.
Henceforth began his frequent visits to the detention center disguised as different people obviously keeping out of the radar of the warden. At a few times he had even disguised as one of the prisoners so he could get closer to the six cadets and Naina of course.
This period helped him a lot as he gathered information on Bharghav and Nair's activities and what were their intentions. He had also found out how they were still after the triggers and the other information, little did they know that the stuff he had given to Naina was fake as he was well aware of the fact that they'll propabably use him as bait for her to give them the papers. No matter what happened he could no way put the security of the country on jeopardy so he gave her all the fake disks and information. He use to sit and laugh at their absurdity and lack of presence of mind.
In all of this he had one person who knew the whole truth and he was Colonel Shakti, his senior officer who had put him on the mission in the fisrt place.
"Sir now that I'm dead in their eyes I've been able to get more information than before. Their main aim was to get their hands in the nuclear triggers so they could negotiate them with the neighbouring countries. I was clever enough to change them but they won't stop sir. They'll continue hunting for it and I'm afraid a number of students might be in danger." Rajveer reported to colonel Shakti in their secret hideout.
"That's because I'm talking about those particular cadets who unwillingly have been pushed into this whole mess too. The six cadets of KMA sir who have helped me but now they're all in danger. Especially Cadet Naina Singh as Major Bharghav has got this enemity with her and he won't spare her."
"What do you suggest we do Captain?"
"Sir we'll have to do something from which before Bharghav approaches them we approach him and strike a deal with him. But I can't do it as Rajveer so I'll have to create another identity who in every way is best for the job."
"Captain you've got my permission and support to take out your plan. I know you'll do the best job."
Thus ended Captain Rajveer's journey and began R2's new life. He worked hard in creating a reputation of R2 as being a suave charmer with the ladies, master of disguises and a thief who escaped like the wind leaving no traces what so ever. All the robberies that he did perform he handed it over back to the government through Colonel Shakti but that was only between them. The world had to know him as R2 and only R2.
Eight odd months had passed since he had become R2 and he still made his frequent visits to the detention center to meet Naina. He had also briefed her about his plan and at first she was not too keen on him becoming this new person but she had to agree thinking for what it was all for.
"I can't see you with another woman and here you're telling me you're going to maintain relationships with them?" Naina was infuriated by that part of the plan.
Rajveer wrapped his arms around her neck, "oh come on Naina you know it isn't going to be real. I'm just going to create an image that's all. You understand don't you?"
"I don't understand Rajveer as along with being a trainee army officer I'm also a woman who has a heart which is not strong enough for all this. I won't be able to stand where I am and see other women clinging onto you like leechers. I won't be able to do." She said that pushed him away and went back. He tried calling her back and consoling her about the situation but she didn't agree and he couldn't even raise his voice so he was left in deapair.
"Wah beta Raj, bohat khoob ek kaam sahee karke dusra kaam barbaad kardiya." He cursed himself whilst climbing out of the ditch and walking out of the compound.
A few days later...
END OF FLASHBACK
"Rajveer, please leave all that out." Naina had become alert and warned him with her eyes for him to stop.
"Oh come on Naina ab in dono se kya parda." Rajveer rolled his tongue in his cheek whilst smirking at both Aalekh and Huda. Both of them sat there laughing themselves whilst Naina was red with embarrassment as well as anger. All that was going to follow was quite intimate and private stuff which she didn't find comfortable for others to find out.
Her look did scare him and he did hesitate in telling them but Aalekh and Huda just cracked up seeing them argue like that and Rajveer being afraid of Naina was just hilarious. "Oh come on sir you don't need to be afraid of her as we're here to save you from her raft." Huda began his usual cracking up again. Naina began smacking his forearm for him to shut up making him laugh even more.
"I'm not afraid of her Huda; I love her too much to hurt her that's all." Naina stopped when she heard that as he was so adorable to say that. She gave him a smile. "Now can I continue? I promise I'll leave things out." Oh his adorably sweet smile was just too hard to resist and say no to so she just nodded her head giving him the green signal.
"Leave things out?" Aalekh wasn't happy about that agreement, "sir I've been waiting from the beginning to hear your love story and how you got married and here you're saying that..."
"Cadet Aalekh, do you want to hear further or not?" Rajveer's voice was authoritative. Aalekh nodded, "then be quiet and listen."
FLASHBACK
A few days later Rajveer arrived at the detention center same at the middle of the night. He crept over a sleeping Naina and before letting her say or react he carried her in his arms and rushed out of there unseen. She was still sleeping as he put her in his jeep and was surprised she couldn't feel the breeze rush by her cheeks.
When he stopped the car he looked over her sleeping and went closer to her and took her face in his palms. Then he laid a soft kiss on her forehead which made her moan in her sleep but she still didn't wake up. He laid a kiss on her right cheek but still no reaction. Then he kissed her on the left cheek and once again she just moaned and tried pushing the hair on her face. He went closer and was about to possess her lips when big brown orbs stared back at him with shock....
